- Today I attempt a rather odd challenge, where I can't build two things from the same category next to each other. Due to this, some rather unorthodox strategies needed to be used to build basic defensive structures (like walls)...

It couldn't work at all tho, plastanium conveyers must be at least two long to take items
tbh tho he could've used bridge conveyors since they technically don't touch and because there is a function in the settings that turns off the opacity of the connection

Challenge idea:
Only 1x1 buildings
Processors are lowkey vital to manipulating units. Can make them enter other factories or even items
Processor, unit bind mono, unit payenter (iirc) reconstructor1 (have to connect it)
bridge conveyors were completely ignored
5:13 i'm sure bridge conveyors would be banned for the same reason

Challenge Idea: Get 1 mil Power/Second on a sector
1) Don't be lame and spam only one kind of power gen (RTGs I'm looking at you)
2) Also get 100 mil in saved power
- This one is debatable because I don't know if 100 mil is possible with limited space
3) Only use Power Based Weapons when defending the sector (or your base if you are doing an attack sector for some reason)
- Meltdowns do count as energy weapons btw
4) Try to build more support air units (Polys, Megas, Quads, Octs) to help you build
5) Don't Overdrive/Overdome any reactors
- This is to prevent you from just building like 10 impact reactors and then Overdoming then to get 1 mil power
- You can still Overdrive/Overdome your cryo mixers and stuff
Beat a sector without exports or starting resources, only locally sourced material
Imagine an extreme sector with only sand, nothing else
Possible challenge: 1 for all:
Use one of everything except conveyers, walls, nodes, fluid ducts, and drills to make it possible. Do it on a medium sector

Im pretty sure you can put the units into the factory by yourself, you need to like press the button of what you controll unit into the factory

Day 1: No conveyers.
Rules basically are no conveyors, OR unloaded, yep you heard me! Payload converters are ok.
A way to do this is make 24 mono and 24 flares that will take resources from the core to turrets or factories, and on the steam workshop there is a pre made thing that allows you to bind a unit to take those resources to it automatically and another that takes resources from let’s say a drill and take it to the core. Then you can have a different drone get the resources for a surge factory and have that be taking to the core or straight to a turret. Use of Containers or vaults are allowed to instead of having a unit for each factory, have all the factories next to the vaults or container and then have 1 unit do that

Duo is only that can attack units
Any friendly units MAY NOT attack enemy units
Have to have ATLEAST 50 Duos that have Cryo in them
ONLY wooden walls
Start on easy, and make your way up!

You can take mono under control and then standing on top of tier 2 factory hold cntr and click on tier 2 factory, this would make mono go in there
The auto drill mod gives you water extractors even though you don't have them unlocked

Challenge idea: capture 122 (above desolate rift, the only low threat in the north pole), but you can only use one side of the build menu (turrets, power, factories, etc.; or drills, liquids, units, etc.). However, you also cannot place two blocks adjacent to each other if they share at least 1 material type (duo and scatter, meltdown and spectre, blast mixer and cryofluid mixer, etc.)
I will be very upset if 122 doesn't have at least a 9.7. It is perfect for blast compund (using oil extractors) and phase fabric. Doesn't have thermal, but has everything else.
You can just hold ctrl and click on the factory to go in it

You could theoretically use logic to have flares drop the nessecary resources from the core to an alloy smelter, then have another flare take from the smelter to a turret

Challenge idea no walls
The challenge is to overcome a sector with high difficulty with x4 speed without stopping.
Why not mix unloaders and conveyors to make slow impractical conveyors?

Hey firefly I found a weird glitch with the time control mod. I put it on 256x speed and I noticed that my power just went straight down to -10000. When I put it back on 1x speed, the power came back up 😮😮

Mass drivers dont need a conveyor going into them to collect resources. They dont need an unloader to get resorces from either

Bro forgot logic and payconveyor, but on mobile "new control" you can control unit and enter a reconstructor
New control is a mod for mobile players but you can't build while using it
