I'm several hours into the game and struggling so I figured I'd try to get a couple of these today. I spent some time prepping and getting everything ready to get the fire poker and the chitin while I was in the area. I managed to get the items.... In the process I contracted three diseases, became defiled, and am now being stalked by an invisible foe that shoots pink stuff at me. I can hear it scratching at the walls of my tent at night, waiting. Please send help.
Ah yes, the dreaded survival mechanics kicking in. Don't worry, my next video should help a bit lol. Alchemists sell good potions for the defiled effect.

Cool guide! I want to add (and hope future people see this), 1 Occult Remains spawn is located in the Monsoon Lotus Temple. It's easy enough to grab, with no combat needed. Just more walking, as you will need to cross the Hallowed Marsh to reach Monsoon city.
A fix for the Occult Bones. There's a Wendigo trapped behind a gate you can cheese in Chersonese. It's the second bandit camp which is fairly easy to clear near the beached ship passed the conflux mountain. Upside is that it also gives access to 1 junk pile, 3 small chests, and an ornate chest with the chance to spawn the Black armor. =) Cheers
The strange rusted sword can also be crafted into an even stronger sword, but u gotta get magic physical and alchemical parts from different npcs to craft it. Saw it on the wiki
Good tip for players: check the wiki for the sweep kick skill. It is CRAZY good, just use a cannon pistol with shatter bullet, you will get pain and confusion on the enemy, useful for almost any build. Even the normal kick is underrated, I use it to kill dogs at the start, 100% no dmg
Kinda surprised the Phytosaur Spear didn't make the list. It's not as good as the Horror Spear, but much easier to obtain. Just farm yourself 110 silver and buy the relatively common ingredients at vendors.
True. That is also a very nice option. Horror is just so good because you can freely kill horrors at the temple without fighting them and then the small hive guys are not too bad with fire.
Mushroom halberd is in the trogg cave (to the left of the red shield, also where you spawn if you get captured by the troggs in your "cage") its got poison damage and its already next to the shield if you are grabbing that to turn in as well and if not sell for cash or legacy chest
soo... i’m thinking early game, since enchanting equipment can be found pretty easily, it would be best to enchant an iron weapon with Unsuspecting Strength. it makes the weapon do 150% more physical dmg and makes them indestructible. if you’re using daggers, this actually turns the Rondel into one of the highest dmg daggers in the game. ya just need a light elemental particle and two dreamer root for the incense and you’ve got some great starting gear. 👍
Wow really? You want new players to head to antique plateau and farm elemental particles for starter gear??? Garbage bro, dont say its easy when ap and caldera are one of the harder zones. @@MikeDbean420 IIRC the Chersonese Conflux Mountain Blue Chamber path has an elemental in it if you wander around the maze a little bit. Could always try there to get your particle relatively easy.
If i can add something, it is possible to craft most horror melee weapons without leaving chersonese but it requires to manually kill (or with traps) a shelled horror so your method is definitely easier. ;)
@@thefakeIzuciel Same, I'm a sucker for greataxe. Helps a lot clearing electric hatchery to make gold-lich weapons and earn silver at the beggining of the game.
I didn't know you could drop down from the platform to grab to loot in the temple, I ran through the fog and got some corruption. But I get all the enemies to chase me into the room, lock them in with the gates and then kill them with the lever, loot them all make and sell the horror spears for 750 each, use it for training. Once you clear the temple with that method there is a cool weapon available. The only hard horror is the one up the elevator in the back as you have to dodge it on the elevator a couple times on the way back down. But with the money you make you can get the true best early weapon, fully trained rune magic.
Great vid, this game DOES NOT hold anyones hand- a lot of casual RPG players give up (we’ve gotten used to games like AC & Skyrim, which hold hands step-by-step on what to do next) on this gem 4-5 hours in. That, and the combat is…well, janky. Very ‘piranha bytes-ish.’ (Anyone who has played Gothic, Risen, or Elex can testify). But I absolutely love this game. It gives a sense of pure adventure I haven’t experienced since the first time I played Morrowind. There’s a feeling of accomplishment associated with succeeding at difficult games that don’t hold your hand. This is def one of those games.
Thanks, Outward is a pretty great game. The main reason the combat feels janky is because they really went all in on the impact. Enemies feel impossible to even hit at first. Once you learn to use openers such as shield charge, push kick, and brace things start to get a lot smoother. That being said... there are still times where I go "HOW DID THAT HIT ME?" because it is a lower budget game after all. But there is a lot of fun to be had here regardless.
You can also get the occult remains you need from wendigos. The easiest method is 3 or 4 lanterns and lantern toss. Down side is that you would have to travel back to cherosonesse to kill the wendigo but I find them super easy to farm
@@SheenShots another weapon to maybe mention would actually be the iron knuckles. You can get a light particle for the unsuspected strength enchant from the voltaxic hatchery and snag a couple dreamers root in enmerker forest. Makes them a decent fist weapon with no durability to worry about. Then if you want to make them endgame weapons you can do split screen shenanigans to legacy them into gold iron knuckles and keep their enchant. Basically makes them faster tsar fists
you can get a very easy kill on wendigo in bandit fort next to the ship wreck in chersonese. you can hit it with lantern toss through the door, 2 lanterns are enough in my experience to kill it and you get some nice loot :)
@@dawidmarciniszyn7546 Holy smokes, that's revelatory. That thing had my number so many times, the enclosed space and that spin move always made me panic. It wasn't till i realized how top-heavy the damn things are that I finally figured out how to deal with the monsters.
Dreamer's is so good! Got within 5 hrs of starting! Did not know about Strange Rusted Swords elemental debuff tho - grabbing that ASAP on my rune mage!!!
Great guide! I think the Pillar Greathammer should've been included here as well, pretty easy to find and early game fights are honestly a breeze with so much impact lmao (I think it has the highest impact in the game, iirc) Also can be sold for a substantial amount of gold and that can help quite a bit in the early game
Thank you! I haven't played much with great maces, but am pretty aware of how crazy this one is. i want to make a heavy tank build with it but the slow gameplay grinds my gears 😂
got this game on the winter sale, pretty unforgiving, but im having fun though 😆 I still hanging out in the starter zone, but I am gonna go for these weapons, especially the halbred and spear
Dreamer halberd is a contested for best weapon in the game. I have beaten Outward several times and that weapon made for one of my easiest runs. Not super difficult to get either although the swamp location is a bit rough to find the first time.
@@SheenShots got everything except the unusual knuckles, and yes that dreamer halbred is so good, it was a bit of a challenge to get it though, running through the unfamiliar zones, especially that swamp! I even picked up the focus and moonswipe skill and a chakram skill, i'll be going back for the others. Thanks again man, you helped a lot!
Hey man I doubt you'll read this but I just want to thank you for helping me out. I got 3 of the weapons now cuz of your video, working on getting the other 2 :)
@@SheenShots a Big trick for novices. The mushroom SHIELD , you can obtain It vert easy at the beginning. Well... Just catch/build 20 traps and go vendavel fortress... Clean very easy and use the legacy chest Witch mushroom SHIELD. Well now begin with. New character and clean vendavel for cierzo storage key. You have probably one of the BEST shields in the game, with extreme poison when use the shield charging attack :)
When you combined the burning damage (firepoker), and inflicts extremely poisoning (Green mushroom shield), can see a definitive build for the beggining. When you make the blue sand armor, you have a fucking beast my friend :)
The map does not show your locations so you use the traditional style of travel and use landmarks to find you way. The markers are there so you can put them on iron nodes, and other resources so you get a chance to loot them again when you come back to that region. Its not really a massive help, but it can be useful when you need one thing and luckily color coded your map with the various markers. Just a QOL aspect really.
freaking ghosts yes both walked all the way up to the ladder for no reason while the elemental hovered around the switch... just glad I backed up my saves b4 I entered the forest.. i said screw it ran and jumped and somehow I was able to do it lol
I would add Gep's Blade, it's technically an end game weapon but you can grab it at the very beginning with 0 combat, there's no way a new player could get it without a guide so it's kinda cheating but it breaks the game when you get it early.
Yes gabbing Gep's blade early on is a huge spike in power. I did not include it for the very reason that is quite challenging to grab as a new player. But it you know about it, by all means get it. The game gets a lot easier with that power blade by your side.
Hey sheen! I wanted to ask: can i still get items from the friendly immaculate after getting the dreamer halberd? I am trying to make a heavy hitter build and i want the dreamer halberd but also brigands backpack. (pls answer)
Um this is a tough on. I am remembering him disappearing after you get the halberd. But also I only ever did that quest 2 or three times total so tough to say for sure. I will say it is probably better to grab only two rewards from him and then get the halberd. That works perfectly fine and might be a safer bet.
Bleed got a heavy nerf. Poison did not. Horror weapons will completely destroy the game very easily. This is largely due to the fact that so many things don't have resistance to decay. And you can craft one really quick. Only downside is their speed, but like I said in the video, the horror spear makes up for that with its reach.
@@SheenShots I have not played the game in a long long time sadly. I used to use an axe with bleed and a dagger with poison on one of my main builds. But after the nerf i just quit playing. But thinking about trying it again.
Hi, to get the horror spear i believe is easier to get it in the first region with the horror over there, if you are skilled enough. You can run through Ghost pass, upgrade your skills with the old man, since that is something you want to do early game anyway, use a fang weapon on the meantime and grab the things that hice you ethereal damage for later on, you can do the skeleton quest too with your horror weapon and leave from the other side. To kill the horror you need patience xD, is doable though.
Alternatively, place a silly amount of spike traps on the bridge that leads to the shell horror. I remember taking 3/4 of its health like that. Then a flamethrower took care of the rest.
Ya it is pretty good at this point. The price points on DLC's have been issues in the past, but the company has to make money somehow so I don't find it that bad.
вааааау! отличная информация. какое качественное видео. я совершенно не понимаю по-английски. но тут и без знания языка все понятно. благодарю, что делитесь полезной информацией
Hhhmmmm. Ever since i started, the brutal mace or an obsidian weapon(since they added the others besides the mace) is my go to as a starting good weapon.
Brutal is really easy to get. A bit slow but confusion is the best status effect. Obsidian weapons are great, the pistol being the best by far. Sometimes you can craft one at the start of the game if you are lucky enough.
@@SheenShots yeah, it is a little slow, but the high impact plus confusion makes it a great tool to get better weapons more easily. But if the trader is selling obsidian I always go for an obsidian sword or pistol to carry me through till the mid game
Obsidian weapons seemed easy to get for me too. Just shoot up those guys in the burning forest area. Also some of the best weapons to put in the legacy chest.
An obsidian pistol is by far one of the best weapons to grab as it applies burning in one shot. The only bad one is the sword. Obsidian sword might as well be a dagger its so short lol.
Kinda thought Gep's blade would be on here or at least get an honorable mention since you just have to find the sword, then maybe 1 or 2 of the potions since death is pretty common early game and the gep "death" scenario seems pretty common too (obv dying isn't ideal but is likely)
I love that as a starting weapon, but I wanted to make it purely for a beginners guide. Newer players just don't know the terrain well enough to find this easily I think and if it happens to spawn across the bridge it could frustrate them quite a bit. I also did not want to force a new player to watch a video or read the wiki for the spawn locations. But definitely one of the best for those who know how to get it.
Feel like the best early game weapon I've encountered so far is the Tuonosaurus Greataxe. Get a spear or have decent dodges, go to the large tree in the centre of the hollowed marsh, kill two alpha tuonosaurus' and boom, you've got yourself a weapon with extremely good damage, one of the highest impact damage in the game AND it can inflict extreme bleeding after 3 hits which does 0.5% of an enemies HP until 50% is gone.
It is very challenging and unforgiving. But the world building and environments are beyond amazing. I highly recommend you choose the dreamer halberd if you can. Makes the game a lot easier.
Does anyone know if the definitive edition changes were also changed in the PS4 version or do you need a PC or next gen console? I was excited to jump back into outward but I don't have a PS5 so I was pretty disappointed to find that I can't enjoy these changes.
The method with the horror spear is great for that, just repeat the process. Look up all the horror weapon recipes in the wiki. Sell them in Levant city. Located in the Abrassar desert for maximum profit. You can run to the Caldera region and try your luck in the dungeons. Loot ornate chests, if you get smoke or glass weapons, those sell for a lot, avoid fights there at all cost. Good luck and have fun.
yeah, crafting and selling horror weapons gives you pretty good money. also selling unique weapons like mertins firepoker or the Thrice-Wrought Halberd (behind the fog wall in the cabal wind temple, if you killed enough shell horrors) is a good mine for quick silver. from then on you should be good to get the skills you need to fight enemys with loot that sells good enough to dont have any problems with money anymore.
Should be streaming on thursday or friday this week. Away from the computer for a few days and this is my secondary account. Should be able to help soon!
@@seandearinger3901 yeah man I have so many questions lol, like for instance I paid the trader 200 silver and now im in some weird region killing kazite for their gear and im like what have I done, I also have activated some iron robot golem thing and he said I have 100 days to do something or like these people will die hahaha I am so confused.
@@joshtaco96 that starts the soroboreans DLC quest. You should have plenty of time as it gives you 60 days after your faction quest. That is a massive dungeon quest that you should do after the main quest. I can explain more later, but dont do anything else with it rn and you should be good.
So can you still get the dreamer's halberd if you get different items instead? First time playing and I asked for equipment in the cave in chersonese. Example I ask for one more item the second time but not the third time would it be possible to get the halberd the 4th time I meet the immaculate?
Interesting. This is probably a minor bug with the death scenarios. You aren't supposed to be saved by him anymore once you join holy mission I don't think.
So when you go to him you will need to tell him to keep his equipment. This must be done at all four locations to get the Halberd. However, you can choose an item to take from him up to two times instead if you like. Any more and he won't give you the item though.
I don't understand how to get the occult remains. How do I fight the hive? I can't enter the actual hive, and you are fighting them outside, yet there aren't any of them outside. Idk what to do.
Ah. So occult remains drop from ghosts, hive, and wendigos most often. To get the bug men to spawn outside you can enter the hive and immediately exit. This will usually cause a spawn. Alternately you can head into the desert and go to that hive. The bugmen there are always gerunteed spawns.
If you are a beginner, I know a method that requires 0 fightning for horror weapons. For the materials, get predator bones in berg's blacksmith, he usually have some. You can farm money as a beginner by getting blue sand and selling in cierzo, and skipping 7-8 days with the plant tent or normal tent for respawn. Or kill some dogs in cierzo. Lure them to the black pearlbird and he will kill for you (kinda advanced method). For the horror chithin, do the same as the video, but kill only 1 shell horror with the lever, take the loot and run to leave. For occult remains, berg's alchemist sometimes has one for 60 gold, you can skip days sleeping in the plant tent. Cabal temple sometimes has 1-2 as loot too. There's a free occult remain in the monsoon city, in the ellat temple, just enter to the left, and after walking a bit it will be on a table in your left. If you really want 0 gold investment and 0 combat. My method: I start the game, quickly loot cierzo, buy the fitness point, get the passive skill from burac and leave to the beach through the tunnel for blue sand. I don't skip days for more, and I rush to berg for the prospector backpack (you can get zhoyrn hunting backpack in hardcore start too, if you are crazy good). then leave to cabal of the wind temple to farm gold with the 4 horror weapons sale, get 4 palladium veins in enmekar and kill some small hive guys. Repeat 3 times and buy all skills needed. At like day 7, I get money, a powerful weapon (prefer the horror greataxe or 1h axe), and a solid hardcore start.
A lot of the bigger/tougher looking enemies got more Protection, the stat that negates physical damage. In Definitive Edition, Protection now also increases your Impact Resistance, so in standard you could take a two handed weapon and stun lock the rock mantises and shell horrors by just wailing on them. Now, not so much. Learned that one the hard way.
they are a joke compared to scarlets or ancient dwellers. the dlcs added alot more dangerous enemies. and some of them got added as unique enemies to basegame maps like gargyoles. trigger to stagger that thing :P they are hard to stagger even with endgame gear.
It's a great sword for a rogue build. Applies a debuff, which dagger users can exploit. Unfortunately is expensive to craft. Would not recommend it for an early weapon.
Distorted is extremely good. Unfortunately is can only be used by a mage type character so I left it out. Quite a few of the Caldera weapons are really good for starting out actually which is kinda nice. I also felt like the whole portal thing was a bit tedious for newer players. I don't mind it, but might seem a bit daunting for people who don't know the regions well.
@@SheenShots yeah, felt tedious my first time mostly because i underestimated the heat, but distorted got me enjoying chakrams and i am currently doing a 100% chakram playtru
Axes are going to be my favorite because of their special attack. They do a lot of impact on your enemy making them die quickly and not attack you as much. Fang axes are great for early game, but the Sunfall axe is my favorite. Lots of fire damage, burning, and hits very hard. It is found in Stone Titan Caves in the Middle of the desert region. Read all the purple stone tablets and it will appear at the bottom. Kind of a hard dungeon but worth it for this axe. Skycrown mace was once a personal favorite of mine as well.
@@slapuallday The speed of it is sometimes a problem. It might seem less powerful because some enemies are a bit harder to stagger now. Since maces are slower you may not be able to stagger as fast as their stability bar can regen. Axes do not have this problem as they are really fast lol.
I’m new to the game and bout the definitive edition and all Iv seen in the player comments on the game is it’s worse than the original version was I mistaken buying the definitive edition version ??
No, but there have been a lot of bugs for console players so they are not happy about it. PC is patched and has been really fun. However... the console patch is yet to be released. It added insane changes that are much more fun than the original. Hopefully the patch will come out soon so everyone will get the chance to experience it.
to hardcore game for me. everyone kill me very fast, or I am thirst, or disease or I getting lost and can't find my way in map because I was not marked there. Need a lot to walk
Definitely a lot of walking in the game, and deaths are punished harshly. But once you get past the learning curve there is a lot to experience and these things only add to that.
Ya I don't recommend you repair it right away. Mostly just use it for the elemental vulnerability and that's about it. Later on once you save enough money you can go for brand and have an awesome sword.
As I stated, you can get the halberd very early on, or very late. It's all about when you go to each region. And it is the best weapon overall in the game so grabbing it as quickly as possible will be of huge benefit to you.
Yo, have a dubt. I have done the dreamer halberd "quest" and in the 4th encounter the inmaculate does not give me nothing, just speak options as usual. I have done all the steps as you said but he is not giving me nothing. I have beeing playing with a friend in his world and he spoke with the inmaculate twice but seeing that the rewards were only for him as in any other quest i thought there was no trouble, but i may be wrong. Also in the steps 3 and 4 my friend was with me but no in the 2 firsts. hope anyone can solve my dubt. Nice content btw, the only one doing not obsolete content, thx 4 it.
I am glad you enjoyed the content and thanks for watching. Here is a sort of checklist to make sure you did things correctly: 1) You need to do it in your world to get it. 2) Your buddy needs to do it in his world to get it. 3) Both of you can do it at the same time, but it will reward the main player with the halberd and that is it. Obviously you can share the weapon though which is always an option. 4) You will need to reach all four locations in your own world and make sure you pick that dialogue were you tell him to keep the stuff. If you think you did it correctly this is likely the issue as its easy to leave thinking you did it and actually didn't (did that more than once, very annoying). 5) Your friend being at some of the locations but not all should not matter as the progress in the world goes to you alone. I am not sure if I helped you, but hopefully I did. Just make sure you don't take more than 2 items and tell him to keep the stuff where you don't take anything. Any time you talk to the immaculate in your friends world it won't count in yours. Again, I hope that helps.
Runic trap now gets benefits from Ethereal damage buffs like Mist -- apparently that's new. But all traps are getting buffed by bonuses from their damage type, so a Trapster wearing a suit of scaled leather is a real thing :)
Because it is easy and requires you to fight nothing. Gives you a chance to see various regions of the game as well. It is one of the best halberds, so even though it takes longer to get it is well worth it near the beginning of the game.
@@SheenShots Are you some sort of hard ass? Walking in this game has always been Challenging, you got bandits, super bandits, dinosaurs, super dinosaurs, golden machines, super golden machines, corrupted zombies, super corrupted zombies, and things ripped out of Greek myth.

It is an open world RPG with survival aspects. You get to buy skills, weapons and armor that get a "build" going. Then you enter caves and dungeons till kill bosses as well as many other enemies. There are three storylines you get to do on one character. The first storyline has four different options to choose from though letting you learn more lore and get different skills. Sometimes hard to learn at first but very fun if you really get into it. Hope that helps!
Outward doesn't have a map in terms of here is where every locations is and where you are at. But it does have a map to guide you the right direction by using landmarks and different locations.
Sheenshots if you would be so kind to pin this comment. Many players including myself STILL cannot redeem their free upgrade several days after launch. Put in 2 tickets so far with Koch to no reply. I want nothing more to enjoy the DE! Xbox Series X player for reference
Im not sure why you did not say that the rusted sword can be upgraded when you said the knuckles can. Also I think 1 maybe 2 weapons should be added to the list because they are not hard to get. Thrice-Wrought Halberd can get it with no fighting and Sunfall axe can be gotten without fighting anything as well.
I didn't mention the sword because I made a video on that and not knuckles at the time. Probably should have mentioned that though. Thrice-Wrought will be in my money guide lol so that was not included. As far as Sunfall... I find that to be nearly impossible without fighting anything. Especially with the new boss and corruption they added to the cave. Even if it is possible I wouldn't find in beginner friendly. Mostly because there are a lot of enemies that chase you down and you need to read each rune. New players would get too lost to pull it off I think.

If i can add something, it is possible to craft most horror melee weapons without leaving chersonese but it requires to manually kill (or with traps) a shelled horror so your method is definitely easier. ;)
I do this on every character starting out
@@thefakeIzuciel Same, I'm a sucker for greataxe. Helps a lot clearing electric hatchery to make gold-lich weapons and earn silver at the beggining of the game.
Very true. The traps are a good way to defeat that one for sure.
Everyone has been mentioning how awesome rune magic is lately and it is pretty awesome 😂. Definitely one of my favorite skill trees for sure.
Cool video man. Im pretty sure im resetting and going knuckles so im going to try to go for those Unusual ones. Cheers!
Hope they help you out! Thanks for watching!
You can also get the occult remains you need from wendigos. The easiest method is 3 or 4 lanterns and lantern toss. Down side is that you would have to travel back to cherosonesse to kill the wendigo but I find them super easy to farm
Lantern throw on that first one and you have yourself an even easier time of getting occult remains for sure.

Dreamer's is so good! Got within 5 hrs of starting! Did not know about Strange Rusted Swords elemental debuff tho - grabbing that ASAP on my rune mage!!!
Be aware that the Rusted sword has basically no durability. Still applies the debuff when broken tho. I used it with the Rust lich armor before DE.

Knuckles are the bomb. Get prismatic Flurry and they are the bomb.
This game really feels like playing Morrowind again
Just old school , no fast travel and has that unknown feeling that you don't know,

@@bambyscooter4365 i don’t even know what i’m supposed to be falling for... is this a meme or something?
Great guide! I think the Pillar Greathammer should've been included here as well, pretty easy to find and early game fights are honestly a breeze with so much impact lmao (I think it has the highest impact in the game, iirc)
Also can be sold for a substantial amount of gold and that can help quite a bit in the early game
Thank you! I haven't played much with great maces, but am pretty aware of how crazy this one is. i want to make a heavy tank build with it but the slow gameplay grinds my gears 😂
got this game on the winter sale, pretty unforgiving, but im having fun though 😆
I still hanging out in the starter zone, but I am gonna go for these weapons, especially the halbred and spear
Can't wait to watch this later! Gonna be getting back into the game soon. Have you heard of technomancer? It's a solid cheapy lol
I have seen some on it recently. Need to check it out as someone said it was awesome.
Hey man I doubt you'll read this but I just want to thank you for helping me out. I got 3 of the weapons now cuz of your video, working on getting the other 2 :)
Awesome! Glad to see you are getting some use out of my videos! Merton's firepoker is a hidden gem for sure as its a great early game item.
Good game. Impossible to get anything done without looking at guides on the internet.
Some of the items and quests do feel impossible without a guide. Especially the stuff in Calder as it is all very confusing.
Good Video and the ending was Dope. 👍
Thanks you!! Glad you enjoyed it!
You can clean chersonese easy with firepoker xD. I go fast to catch new chsracter, just run and come back to cierzo :)
I use that one a lot too. Its so easy to get and burning cleans up everything for you.
Dreamer halberd you can get it pretty fast it’s just walking
Me: oh look over there, a shiny !!
Getting side tracked so easily is the perfect way to describe Outward lol.
Man i missed this channel
Bruh what's the point in being able to place markers on the map if you can't see them on the compass?
The map does not show your locations so you use the traditional style of travel and use landmarks to find you way. The markers are there so you can put them on iron nodes, and other resources so you get a chance to loot them again when you come back to that region. Its not really a massive help, but it can be useful when you need one thing and luckily color coded your map with the various markers. Just a QOL aspect really.
should mention the strange rusted sword can be upgraded to a nice weapon
freaking ghosts yes both walked all the way up to the ladder for no reason while the elemental hovered around the switch... just glad I backed up my saves b4 I entered the forest.. i said screw it ran and jumped and somehow I was able to do it lol
TYTY games on sale 8:99 atm so made new toon i followed the Dreamer/poker/and horror spear parts really cool and yup very ezy.
I thought the poisons and bleeds got nerfed into the ground. Is that spear worth it still?
Bleed got a heavy nerf. Poison did not. Horror weapons will completely destroy the game very easily. This is largely due to the fact that so many things don't have resistance to decay. And you can craft one really quick. Only downside is their speed, but like I said in the video, the horror spear makes up for that with its reach.
@@SheenShots I have not played the game in a long long time sadly. I used to use an axe with bleed and a dagger with poison on one of my main builds. But after the nerf i just quit playing. But thinking about trying it again.
Ive found it more reliable to use a savage or fang weapon with elemental rags to help out on damage types
Do I must make it in order or can I go to the desert and ask for nothing from the NPC ?
Hi, to get the horror spear i believe is easier to get it in the first region with the horror over there, if you are skilled enough. You can run through Ghost pass, upgrade your skills with the old man, since that is something you want to do early game anyway, use a fang weapon on the meantime and grab the things that hice you ethereal damage for later on, you can do the skeleton quest too with your horror weapon and leave from the other side.
To kill the horror you need patience xD, is doable though.
This is faster yes, but for new players shell horrors pose quite the challenge. Skeleton quest is so fun!!!!
Alternatively, place a silly amount of spike traps on the bridge that leads to the shell horror.
I remember taking 3/4 of its health like that. Then a flamethrower took care of the rest.
I still find the spear from electric lab pretty easy to get there are a couple extra enemies to avoid but still pretty easy to avoid all fighting
I ALWAYS forget the last lever that turns the elevator. gets me every time lol
I remember people were pissed at the first dlc price. Glad this game survived all that hate.
Well thank you for watching and I am glad the guide helped you!
I am so happy this exist's !
Hope it helps!
You need to up your knuckle combo game. Best combo I've found is light-heavy-heavy-light-heavy. Very quick and a lot of hits
Knuckle combos are some of the coolest to watch in the game for sure.
I have recently picked this weapon up and can admit it is SOOOOOO good. High impact, fast attacks, and really strong bleed to back you up.
Thank you Iam playing this on series x the game is very intriguing but dam it’s brutal.
Only for PC and current generation consoles.
Same here dude
New to the game, any advice on how to get money fast?
Farm loot and sell. Thats all.
@@ГлебКочетков-т1ш Omg you're so knowledgeable, obviously I meant a faster way than doing the normal stuff.
@@fulopistvan5578 Thnx!
yeah, crafting and selling horror weapons gives you pretty good money. also selling unique weapons like mertins firepoker or the Thrice-Wrought Halberd (behind the fog wall in the cabal wind temple, if you killed enough shell horrors) is a good mine for quick silver. from then on you should be good to get the skills you need to fight enemys with loot that sells good enough to dont have any problems with money anymore.
When are you streaming next lol I need to talk to you, I started playing and I have questions and good news lol
It's still possible if I'm correct, the only requirement is not taking more than 2 things
So me and my friend died and ended up near that immaculate. We joined the holy mission prior to dying and ending up there and he wasn’t hostile to us.
Interesting. This is probably a minor bug with the death scenarios. You aren't supposed to be saved by him anymore once you join holy mission I don't think.
@@SheenShots has to be. Only thing I can really think of tbh. Which I’m not gonna complain cause I have a feeling he would have killed us lol
a year late but im wondering, for the dreamer halberd: Do I NEED to ask for 2 items from him or do I just need to not get any more than 2 items?
@@SheenShots Thank you! I did that, and it worked!
finally i can get some decent weapons after 50 hours of gameplay :)) man i suck at this game
Outward is a struggle for a looooong time. But once it clicks it really locks in.
Kinda curious. I don't know what the changes are in DE (apart from graphics and FPS) so is the build videos still valid?
Most build videos will still work. only thing to check are the armor stats as some got changed a bit. Mostly buffs though.
I was really hoping to get the dream halberd, but I joined the holy mission without knowing the immaculate would hate my guts and attack me : (
haha
Been there lol. He will immediately attack and there is no warning. Quite the surprise upon entering a previously friendly cave!
Pog a definitive edition video
Great explanation!
how did they buff shell horrors? they were already extremly dangerous.
Basically, they got more protection and are much harder to knockback.
I prefer using 2H Axes, with pistol for stagger, debuff or heal. Horror 2H Axe is nice, and easy to take. Ideally Worldedge is the bis.
Worldedge is nuts. Love that weapon.
Rusted sword also has an upgrade version. Does ice damage.
It's a great sword for a rogue build. Applies a debuff, which dagger users can exploit. Unfortunately is expensive to craft. Would not recommend it for an early weapon.
@@fulopistvan5578 agreed, just dont want them to sell it without knowing like some idiot i know. (Me)
How are you running for so long and using so little stamina?
If you take water and a mega stamina potion you can basically run forever. I also have on armor that is good stamina cost reduction which helps a lot.
i expected to find distorted experiment here as it requires no combat and can be aquired pretty early on
Distorted is extremely good.
In your opinion, what’s the best overall 1 handed weapon for melee?
Axes are going to be my favorite because of their special attack. They do a lot of impact on your enemy making them die quickly and not attack you as much. Fang axes are great for early game, but the Sunfall axe is my favorite. Lots of fire damage, burning, and hits very hard.
It is found in Stone Titan Caves in the Middle of the desert region. Read all the purple stone tablets and it will appear at the bottom. Kind of a hard dungeon but worth it for this axe.
Skycrown mace was once a personal favorite of mine as well.
@@SheenShots ah ok thanks for that. I have the Skycrown mace as well but I just feel like it’s not as powerful as it used to be.
@@slapuallday The speed of it is sometimes a problem. It might seem less powerful because some enemies are a bit harder to stagger now. Since maces are slower you may not be able to stagger as fast as their stability bar can regen. Axes do not have this problem as they are really fast lol.
@@SheenShots I will definitely look into an axe. That sunfall axe I’ll try and get.
@@slapuallday I know there is the obisdian axe which is a slightly weaker version of it. Might be easier to ger but I am not 100% on the ingridiants.

No, but there have been a lot of bugs for console players so they are not happy about it. PC is patched and has been really fun. However... the console patch is yet to be released. to hardcore game for me. everyone kill me very fast, or I am thirst, or disease or I getting lost and can't find my way in map because I was not marked there. Need a lot to walk
Definitely a lot of walking in the game, and deaths are punished harshly. But once you get past the learning curve there is a lot to experience and these things only add to that.
You forget to say you need to repair the Rustic sword and might be costly for a new players just starting
Ya I don't recommend you repair it right away. Mostly just use it for the elemental vulnerability and that's about it. Later on once you save enough money you can go for brand and have an awesome sword.

*You need to run through the entire game*
For only one of them. And you will run through the entire game many times over. Might as well get the best weapon the first time around.
TOP 5 Early Game Weapons
Ok now go to the end of the game to get hellbert....
Here is a sort of checklist to make sure you did things correctly:
1) You need to do it in your world to get it.
Just make sure you don't take more than 2 items and tell him to keep the stuff where you
don't take anything. Any time you talk to the immaculate in your friends world it won't count in yours. Again, I hope that helps.

mertin firepoker is a mace???
Kind of odd considering it doesn't look much like one, but its pretty darn good to use for at least the first half of the game.
OMG, I've just joined Holy Mission when I watch the Immaculate part... 😔💔
I wish this game has a transport system.
Do you run past enemies more than you fight in this game?
Not, this is merely if you want to got o harder areas with little to no gear just to get ahead.
Off topic: I was testing a build, and I felt like all sigil combos got buffed, both, impact and damage.
Currently loving sigils. The ice I think for sure got a buff.
Runic trap now gets benefits from Ethereal damage buffs like Mist -- apparently that's new. But all traps are getting buffed by bonuses from their damage type, so a Trapster wearing a suit of scaled leather is a real thing :)
I got occult remains from the red ghosts in ghost pass
Bruh. How is making it to every region and finding the friendly immaculate an easy beginner step?
Because it is easy and requires you to fight nothing. Gives you a chance to see various regions of the game as well. It is one of the best halberds, so even though it takes longer to get it is well worth it near the beginning of the game.
@@SheenShots Are you some sort of hard ass? Walking in this game has always been Challenging, you got bandits, super bandits, dinosaurs, super dinosaurs, golden machines, super golden machines, corrupted zombies, super corrupted zombies, and things ripped out of Greek myth.

I was wondering if the items from Immaculate in Caldera and Plateau also count towards the 2 items limit to get the Dreamer Halberd in DE, anyone know?

It is an open world RPG with survival aspects. You get to buy skills, weapons and armor that get a "build" going. Then you enter caves and dungeons till kill bosses as well as many other enemies.
There are three storylines you get to do on one character. The first storyline has four different options to choose from though letting you learn more lore and get different skills.
Sometimes hard to learn at first but very fun if you really get into it.
Hope that helps!

New players would get too lost to pull it off I think.
lol, if someone go rush without experience and low skills and equipment, dont worth it, you barely show the power of this weapons, i have a like club one hand that takes almost the same that weapons with 2 hands, and i can use shield, is very useful, i spend lot of hours gather items and sell to buy skills and cool stuff, and i explored the first map more time, to get better things and join money to buy needed items, at least to me, i start playing a few months, and barely had done main missions, i just gather items in 2 or 3 bags and take it eash bag full of items to a vendor, a city, etc, to sell, i lost a lot of time but worth it now
