There are imperfections in the male choior's singing that would easily be fixed if this was prerecorded by doing another take. They are crisp and clear, but they're also burried in the mix, wich can hide a lot of imperfections. As for no ambient sound. The entire section of the forrest is covered in moss and evergreen needles, wich both make surprisingly little sound when you step on it. As for no microphones (aside for the ones used by the performers), you are right. If they did hide the microphones they hid them well.... but there are some clues. At 0:37 over the head of the male choir you can see what looks like microphones. This video is very low quality, so it's hard too see.
