I can assure you that many heroes have higher utility scores. People already mentioned mushroom girl but looking at someone like Mineta for example. Great movement by making bounce shoes, can restrain any attacker because as far as i know those things are unbreakable, being unbreakable as a police officer he can probably use then like spike strips to stop cars (though probably causing the car to flip), as a timer since it only lasts so long, the balls dont seem to really go away so you can use them for toys probably too since its like a rubber ball once its not sticky anymore, soundproofing somewhere temporarily, and jamming doors is something that in a superpowered world probably isnt major but you can.
Sorry, but hot and cold getting only a 1 in convenience? You want a cold drink, just hold it in your right hand, you want to keep your coffee hot, hold it in your left hand. You are in the bath, the water gets cold - no more! Your room is a bit too cold, just heat it up a bit. Basically, hot and cold is temperature control, which is highly convenient.
Honestly 1st gen ofa might be the worst(not including potential) because its boost was so minimal that current ofa at 1% probably outscales 1st gen ofa badly like there would essentially be no difference from how you were before activation and after activation
No offense but Toru's quirk is pretty useful for Stealth info gathering and espionage her Quirk is not useless in the slightest also her quirk is light reflection actually of her skin resulting invisibility
HEY PUT SOME RESPECT ON CELLOPHANE AND TAILMAN. Their quirks might seem silly at first glance but both characters are pretty amazing when it comes to combat using their quirks that most would see as weird. Tailman was literally one 1v multiple villians during the USJ attack🎉
Also ngl, 8:38 this would make a really good video. Imagine seeing Komori (the mushroom girl) utilize her mushrooms to spawn inside a persons stomach and cause them to get sick, given she was able to name every single one off the top of her head, or Kaminari getting creative with a more diverse arsenal to utilize his quirk properly. So much potential in making characters unique with their quirks and how they use them. Heck, they can do with that Deku. He's shown to be quite the analysis, so what if in a fight between Ultimate Shigaraki and Deku, OFA is at the end of the day inferior to AFO, due to how much Kyudai Garaki augmented his quirks, so Deku has to outsmart Shigaraki. So many possibilities that are so much more interesting "Punch him really hard."
@@KnightlyReviewsok to be fair, I was also thrown a bit when that happened, but then I felt the explanation made it make sense. Such an op power, for a conflict to be interesting, must have a weakness. The weakness was, if I remember, mentioned before hand, since you need the name that the target identifies with. He wasn't ahigaraki anymore, despite looking like him. He acted nothing like shigaraki, he was a weird mashup of AfO and shigaraki. I still like mha, and I get the viewpoints of people who lost interest, but I feel like they mostly wanted the show to stay consistent with prior seasons. I personally enjoyed even more each season that passed, starting with Overhaul, when the darkness of the show just ramped. As for just watching midoriya, he's the MC, and he still has to find tricky ways to win using all OfA. Even then, the rest of 1a gets a goodly amount of screen time, and they have to use creative solutions. Tentacole talking down the angry mob, uraraka finding the specific Toga, hell the entirety of bakugo and friends holding shigaraki down while midoriya is zipping on over. Underutilized? Sure, yeah, but mostly not forgotten. We do need more double impact though, for sure.
I know this is a year late, and there are plenty of comments defending Komori and her quirk but I just wanted to add that from what we've seen of her quirk, mushrooms spawning out of nowhere on you seems REALLY annoying. Every time a scene is shown of someone getting mushrooms on them, they are instantly trying to get them off. Clearly the mushrooms cause some kind of irritation. Also, Komori can spawn whatever type of mushroom she wants, wherever she wants, as long as there's enough humidity around (take that with a hint of salt, I'm pretty sure that's how Komori's quirk is most effective and why she carries those gun things around, they're humidifiers).

Vigilantes focuses on Aizawa and his friends both as students at UA and his work as an underground hero. If you don't wanna focus on Deku, really you sound like the type that would like vigilantes.
The thing with ofa is I don't think it was originally going to have multiple quirks inside it. I think when they were named ofa and afo by horikoshi, the names meant something. One for all: ONE power used by ALL who it transfers too. All for one: ALL powers FOR ONE person. I think ofa was just meant to have super strength and that's it. But horikoshi must have realized that ONLY super strength would get boring super fast. So he made up the multiple quirks thing to add some variety and longevity to the ofa quirk. That is why all might never used the other quirks inside ofa the whole time he had ofa. Because they didn't exist until deku (the MC of mha) got ofa. Once ofa got other quirks, it stopped being ofa to afo. It became afo good version and afo bad version. The only difference in the end of mha between ofa and afo, is that afo steals quirks from people and ofa copies all the quirks of previous users. It ended up being 2 people using multiple powers taken from other people to fight each other.

Ill say it, Tail is actually a pretty good quirk it just depends on how you view it and where you are currently The description for Tail states that the user can control it like a 3rd arm and although obviously its a much worse arm since theres no fingers it can still help with day to day life like if you need to carry multiple items or(assuming that we can use them whenever) to move faster Ill say the main caveat to the quirk is that i think its an amazing quirk if you're in a less crowded area and an atrocious quirk in a heavily populated area If i had to do the rating id say for Quirk usage I'd agree with you(unless its as strong as it was in the fight when Ojiro was trapped in concrete and single handedly broke all of the concrete around him because then I'd give it a 5 or 6) but for day to day usage id definitely give him at least a 3 maybe even a 4 So if the quirk user is in the best conditions for their quirk id give it a total of 4(maybe very optimistically a 5) If they're in the worst conditions id agree with you and put a 2 But realistically id give them a 3.5 total I know its only a 1.5 increase but its still substantially better then what most people think TL;DR Tail should be a 3.5 not a 2 Although this whole thing could just be because im biased since Ojiros my favorite My Hero Character
I am definitely not watching MHA (mostly out of spite) but knowing how stupid the focused powers are makes me feel even better about my decision. Also, genuine question, do people just come out of the womb with spray bottle heads? Do they have a normal form?
Unless it's a transformation type which does have a 'normal' form, then yes I'm pretty sure all Mutant type quirks come out of the womb that way, with minor exceptions like Tsuyu who was more a tadpole human (tail included) before becoming a frog human by the time we meet her in the actual series.
Looking into a bit, you're totally right. Ofa stockpiles power from user to user. Before all might they just didn't stock as much power. That's why there's such a difference. Either way I think I'm gonna still say it's ass lmao
TBF characters with cool powers being wasted is a complaint you can make about almost any series, even some that don't have supernatural powers in the first place
its actually more worthless than you think. theres no previous user meaning you have no powers. you can give your strength to someone else and thats it. i dont think you can give it back. i think i heard that bakugo got it and gave it back but i dont really count that as its from the movies and doesnt make sense since it was said that quirk users would die if they get ofa.
Honestly AFO should be pretty high on the convenience score, as at worst you're a normal guy, and things remain on that level unless you chose to steal a quirk with self destructive side effects like Dabi's Cremation, and even then you might not take the cold resistant body aspect when you take the blue flames.
My only thing about that is that you've still gotta go take it from whoever has it and that's not gonna be easy without a decent stockpile (although another comment said a nursing home in this society would be PERFECT for stealing abilities easily)
@@KnightlyReviews true, if he took quirks from those too old to use them, or were simply unable to due to an injury of some sort (Like when Overhaul lost both of his hands).... well they'd just be going to waste otherwise ;)

The art compared to the main series isnt as good and personally was a bit of a whiplash to get used to the style change but its def worth the read if you liked MHA for its concept and world
To be fair, the only reason One for All COULD blow your arm off is BECAUSE it stockpiled so much strength. If you were the first user, you’d get.. uh, literally nothing for a good portion of your life 💀

Man, I personally love the show and the way it paints society and hero world, but I've also been looking for the reasons why people dislike it! It does make sense, it feels like Izuku's character is just too... simplistic? I don't know the word, but someone else said that Izuku is a shallow character because he's completely morally correct for the first what, six seasons? and even in the vigilante arc he's still morally there. Versus Iida, who has his whole revenge plot against Stain. I do see how Izuku is a pretty... boring, main character because of his lack of depth and repeated fighting stratagy (please give me mroe reasons, I still like the show I just want to understand why people hate it)
It's kinda funny think about how people discriminate against quirkless people, I fell like a half well train guy with a gun could out do A LOT of heros, yes, he would never be the next All Might but you think Windex guy will? If we look to the background characters we see a lot of people that are just a normal person but worse, in Dekus class in the first ep. there is a kid with a piece of wood for a head, yeah, I take being quirkless before being flammable.
I have to disagree with OFA: it’s so strong that it destroys your bones BECAUSE it has had that many generations. In the first 3 it damages you, yes, but not nearly as much as it pulverizes his arm. But that also means it’s much much weaker so it’s either way not that good Also the mushroom quirk: we saw how she nearly suffocated some people with her ability or in general nearly kill them, but when Dabi burned everything she said “I can’t use my quirk with all this fire“ -.- … also she can create every type of poison, maybe even with a bigger variety than Mina could with her acid. My headcanon also is, that she could produce bacteria with enough training Oh and to double/twin impact: he had appeared in season 2… just to leave the tournament cause he thought he didn’t earn coming so far…
How is shoto 1 in utility, do You realize how useful is to have both heat and cold at any time? You can make ice cubes, you can have a light source at any time, you can be a walking air conditioner, you can cook your food for free, you can create pretty much any basic structure made out of ice, you are (suposedly) inmune to burn scars and heat in general, you can literaly put your hands in an oven and be fine, any person that works at a kitchen would kill for pretty much that alone, nevermind the rest, half cold half hot its at least a 5 in utility and probably higher imo
Doesnt one for all literally do nothing if youre the first guy? Supposedly Deku has the stored power of multiple generations of heroes inside of his glass bones and when someone copied the quirk, instead of crushing everything with super strength, all it did was make a wet fart.mp3
Alright but mushroom girl would be a diabolical villain. Wtf is all might gonna do if a bunch of mushrooms start growing in his heart and lungs 😂 she could kill almost the entire cast without much effort
The quirk to control animals would be really useful if the person was a forest ranger. Less likely to be used, to control a wolf if it wandered into a populated area. This skill is more of a convience for society. Which would likely be underappreciated as it does bring something to the table. The strength plus movement quitks would be used by every company which has alot of items they need to transport. Amazon would sign that shadow guy and the strength users as quickly as they could. Increasing IQ is quite useful. It does allow problems to be solved quicker. It also has its own crawback. Since many people with a high IQ suffer from a particular firmware problem with their brains. Which makes it significantly harder to solve these types of problems. One of them being called an idiot sypher. I believe the corporate use of something would take president over the actual usability for society. The possibilities for All for One depends on intelligence and imagination. I will use The Flash and The Reverse Flash as an example. You could argue that The Reverse Flash is more intelligent than The Flash. Yet, due to weak imagination. The Flash has more options when it comes to his powers.
True but IN THEORY the first holder could've stored an absolute ton of power, so as seen it would be ass but if we're arguing for the BEST case it could be useful if you're the second
The one bully from Izuku's class that had stick eyeballs... That's just an unfortunate mutation buddy... Will not lend you a good position in the fascistic Hero's society.

My dude he was quirkless against a character that basically couldn't be touched by physical abilities. The reason all might gave it to him is because he didn't hesitate to act and put his life on the line to save someone even if he was powerless and couldn't save them
@@JonasRosado and it was stupid he couldnt help and there already were heroes to help Bakugo, Deku only put himself and Bakugo and the people around him and the heroes in more danger. Deku doesnt earn anything on his own they just feel sorry for him and give him the reward anyway
I don't think the average person has all mights build king, if you get it you're starting with out like deku does (unless you're jacked or something idk)
His quirk is a weak quirk in theory, but it can be used quite well, wall climbing, catching low tier criminals, mobility, makes weapons useless in some cases, a another form of handcuffs, and hold thing together until someone fixes something that is broken. It has a lot of uses.
It kinda lost stream after the whole dark demi arc for me. There were just a bunch of really bizarre decisions plot wise that turned me away from the series (stars and stripes losing to BS, Bakugo somehow surviving his heart EXPLODING, AFO's motivations being stupid, etc.) I haven't read the finale yet but from what I saw it seems really strange? I don't know if you're caught up so I won't say but it doesn't seem very congruent with the established ideas of the series (like heros being famous of all things)

@waapi1914 Especially since it was established in that episode, she can grow those mushrooms literally anywhere in a human body, (and I think it also says she can grow any mushroom, not sure if I'm remembering that correctly) and the only reasons she doesn't are legality and morality
It's not like he'd be the 1st hero with a gun, Snipe's whole quirk revolves around him shooting thinge.
ngl you’re not thinking broadly enough for the convenience scores. free food anywhere? awesome! start a fire wherever you go? surprisingly useful!
I think the best quirk is liking every knightly reviews video
Dude you got me blushing over here
worst quirk is easily Tatami Nakagame, the third year student appeared during the license exam. like, wtf do you mean your quirk makes you able to retract your body parts in itself like a turtle? what purpose does it serve anyway
There are several uncontrollable quirks that just kill you or other people, so I guess Id just take the turtle.
Soccer is not so shitty quirk if it allows you to become a soccer star and earn millions.
Honestly the only reason I watch mha is cause of Aizawa. But other than that I haven't been happy with how female chatacters are written.
Samee
Wait, you see barely any convenience in being your own personal heater or a/c unit no matter where you go?
Fair point, fair point indeed. I'll toss him an extra point in my head
Thats true theres like so many raw natural resources in Antartica that are just waiting for a penguin to dig them up
You don't need to pay gas for your stove either, you are the stove
Sorry, but hot and cold getting only a 1 in convenience? You want a cold drink, just hold it in your right hand, you want to keep your coffee hot, hold it in your left hand. You are in the bath, the water gets cold - no more! Your room is a bit too cold, just heat it up a bit. Basically, hot and cold is temperature control, which is highly convenient.
Just hope you don’t burn your house down when you heat up your room or boil the coffee because you used too much heat or freeze the drink.
@xinf3ctdx we have the same quirk as the hero in the show. We know that Todoroki is able of precise controle.
Plus for extra safety, you could have a chunk of rock/metal to heat up to safely discharge and have a slow heat release effect
0:30 that was my favourite arc!!! Love this twin impact dude and the whole team B from B class!!! Very cool
I'm so glad you used that clip of Mt Lady in the Transformation type segment
Honestly 1st gen ofa might be the worst(not including potential) because its boost was so minimal that current ofa at 1% probably outscales 1st gen ofa badly like there would essentially be no difference from how you were before activation and after activation
No offense but Toru's quirk is pretty useful for Stealth info gathering and espionage her Quirk is not useless in the slightest also her quirk is light reflection actually of her skin resulting invisibility
Refraction, not reflection. Everyone reflects light. That's how we are visible.
Can we all just stop and think about how hard it would have been to raise a child that can't be seen....
Can't believe the only Cellophane and Tailman fan watched my video (I'm honoured)
Spoilers:
S&S losing the was complete BS. I was hoping it would be a 3 v 2 of Mirio, S&S, Deku vs AFO and Shigaraki on some Avengers Endgame type beat
No fr that shit coulda been sweet but nah, HiS nAmE iSnT tOmUrA sHiGaRaKi AnYmOrE
You guys should go for "A Certain Scientific Railgun". This rlly shows how unique individual abilities are being used in a very smart way.
I'll throw it on the list (if it's ass I will be making a video and calling you out on it😈)
@@KnightlyReviews UHM UHM, okay if u start, start with "a certain scientific railgun S" (letter S at the end) it started off as a spin-off if "a certain magical index" but got very popular :) hihi a handsome man calling out my name 👉🏽👈🏽
In that flash back for red riot there was a human beaver that could turn leaves into money but it would change back to leaves in 30 mins so these bullys wanted him to scam the shopkeeper than red riot forgot his actual name btw protected the beaver man
All Stars and Stripes had to do was apply
1 New order cannot be taken
And 2 I cannot be harmed
And just stall shigaraki out
It really is that simple
Ill say it, Tail is actually a pretty good quirk it just depends on how you view it and where you are currently
The description for Tail states that the user can control it like a 3rd arm and although obviously its a much worse arm since theres no fingers it can still help with day to day life like if you need to carry multiple items or(assuming that we can use them whenever) to move faster
Ill say the main caveat to the quirk is that i think its an amazing quirk if you're in a less crowded area and an atrocious quirk in a heavily populated area
If i had to do the rating id say for Quirk usage I'd agree with you(unless its as strong as it was in the fight when Ojiro was trapped in concrete and single handedly broke all of the concrete around him because then I'd give it a 5 or 6) but for day to day usage id definitely give him at least a 3 maybe even a 4
So if the quirk user is in the best conditions for their quirk id give it a total of 4(maybe very optimistically a 5)
If they're in the worst conditions id agree with you and put a 2
But realistically id give them a 3.5 total
I know its only a 1.5 increase but its still substantially better then what most people think
TL;DR Tail should be a 3.5 not a 2
Although this whole thing could just be because im biased since Ojiros my favorite My Hero Character
6:11 she can make different types of mushrooms, some which release toxic spores that can knock people out or possibly kill them.
I am definitely not watching MHA (mostly out of spite) but knowing how stupid the focused powers are makes me feel even better about my decision. Also, genuine question, do people just come out of the womb with spray bottle heads? Do they have a normal form?
I don't think he can turn off the Windex head
Unless it's a transformation type which does have a 'normal' form, then yes I'm pretty sure all Mutant type quirks come out of the womb that way, with minor exceptions like Tsuyu who was more a tadpole human (tail included) before becoming a frog human by the time we meet her in the actual series.
OFA never injured the previous users only deku
Source:All Might he could use 100% of rip with no training
Looking into a bit, you're totally right. Ofa stockpiles power from user to user. Before all might they just didn't stock as much power. That's why there's such a difference. Either way I think I'm gonna still say it's ass lmao
TBF characters with cool powers being wasted is a complaint you can make about almost any series, even some that don't have supernatural powers in the first place
If you get one for all early on there's not all that much strength accumulated meaning no arms being blown up
its actually more worthless than you think. theres no previous user meaning you have no powers. you can give your strength to someone else and thats it. i dont think you can give it back. i think i heard that bakugo got it and gave it back but i dont really count that as its from the movies and doesnt make sense since it was said that quirk users would die if they get ofa.
The other day I made my own lists of quirks I thought of its a bit man but these are the names
- wavelength
-BoneSpider
- axolotl dragon
- Benzin
- matter master
- compound
- union gate
- blue devil
- terabyte
- core bringer
- tech soul
- RPG
- UFO
- Ditto
- thousand eye
-nitrous
- Gladiator
- jigsaw
- mirror force
- NecroHead
- Dyson Sphere
Are what I thought..
00:01 it’s the opposite for me. I’ve been only watching the Anime and i initially didn’t care much about it but it was good, then it became sort of boring and now i just find it incredible.
Half cold half hot deserves WAY more than a 1 for convenience: Fresh ice in your drink after it melts, a torch/candle at your literal finger tips for dark or cold nights, incinerate your trash and there's no need to empty bins, I could go on lol
I beg of you to read vigilantes 🙏
Its so much better than recent MHA and does a lot to expand the general world as well!!
The art compared to the main series isnt as good and personally was a bit of a whiplash to get used to the style change but its def worth the read if you liked MHA for its concept and world
To be fair, the only reason One for All COULD blow your arm off is BECAUSE it stockpiled so much strength. If you were the first user, you’d get.. uh, literally nothing for a good portion of your life 💀
I feel like my body would adapt quickly to OFA but that's just due to how I've lived my life.
Don't feel like doing timestamps
HHHC is actually very good for everyday life imo. Depending on where you live you can always make your body the perfect temperature. No more sickness in terms of weather
Yes he couldn't control dark shadow at first but later on he can even when it was at it's max output. Once you get control dark shadow is a great ability
Navel lazer normally doesn't spill out. He was just defective. You don't NEED the belt unless you were just born bad (still a mid quirk)
Last I checked the mushrooms were literally getting inside people's throats and choking them 💀 pretty sure she can kill people
Soild air is easy to break though when going against superhumans. Good for normal people
Me a serial killer seeing that invisibility is zero 😑
What about Dupli-arms? Shoji has 6 arms that can have any sensory organ at the end, including hands. You can also just make MORE arms, we've seen Shoji make, like, 100
Let's go bro!!🎉
So like… that happens if he does the wind thing for a minute TOTAL? Like, ever? Or like a minute, followed by like a day’s worth of cooldown.
it's gotta be like a day long cooldown, if it's a minute once then that shit is actually useless
@@KnightlyReviewswell a tornado a day is still hella strong. Just gotta be careful
@@JonasRosado I dunno man if you fuck it up no more tornadoes for a while
i whould rather be quircless than a fucking windex bottle💀
I have to disagree with OFA: it’s so strong that it destroys your bones BECAUSE it has had that many generations. In the first 3 it damages you, yes, but not nearly as much as it pulverizes his arm. But that also means it’s much much weaker so it’s either way not that good
Also the mushroom quirk: we saw how she nearly suffocated some people with her ability or in general nearly kill them, but when Dabi burned everything she said “I can’t use my quirk with all this fire“ -.- … also she can create every type of poison, maybe even with a bigger variety than Mina could with her acid. My headcanon also is, that she could produce bacteria with enough training
Oh and to double/twin impact: he had appeared in season 2… just to leave the tournament cause he thought he didn’t earn coming so far…
06:10 free food.
Muchroom girl gets a utility score of 3 because she doesn't need to buy mushrooms ever.
Wouldn’t OFA be super weak if your the 2nd user it’s only strong bc it stock piled power
True but IN THEORY the first holder could've stored an absolute ton of power, so as seen it would be ass but if we're arguing for the BEST case it could be useful if you're the second
Spoilers for s7
Naval laser only leaks out because aoyama wasn’t born with it, if he was then naval laser wouldn’t have that issue

Ibara should be in 1A compared to Tape man.
Like eighty percent of class 1B should be in 1A over tape guy
Imagine being born a living bomb
6:39 i thought she could regrow the missing pieces over time though like a lizard.. or was that just a fandom thing?
(im aware im a year late to this video)
As far as I read I didn't see that but it would make sense, when it comes to manga I try not to assume though so that's probably why I mentioned it lol
Yo cool cool
I didnt care for MHA after the first minute „this is the story how i became the number 1 hero“ the second one was worse he when got the Quirk from the number 1 hero after FAILING to save a person
I dunno man, I think the real number one hero the friends we made along the way
My dude he was quirkless against a character that basically couldn't be touched by physical abilities.
And its not the first time this happends. He fails to save Bakugo but still gets one for all, he fails to destroy robots but still gets to UA, he fail Nighteyes test and still got the internship. Deku doesnt earn anything on his own they just feel sorry for him and give him the reward anyway
@@KnightlyReviews no its Endeavor but the winner is the most popular

3:00 good strat for all for one is go to a retirement home or retired heroes
I mean shit dude fair enough
They should not have killed Star
MHA really fell on its face in Season 7 (and I'd argue season 6 was the beginning).
One for all didn’t destroy all mights body? Dekus body couldn’t contain the quirk, that doesn’make one for all dog shit
I don't think the average person has all mights build king, if you get it you're starting with out like deku does (unless you're jacked or something idk)
*convenience !!!!
Wait stop did I misspell it the entire fucking time
giving mineta the 2nd lowest score just cause you don't like him smh....
I mean yeah but his quirk is also buns lol
@@KnightlyReviews its very useful in about every situation so nah!
His quirk is a weak quirk in theory, but it can be used quite well, wall climbing, catching low tier criminals, mobility, makes weapons useless in some cases, a another form of handcuffs, and hold thing together until someone fixes something that is broken. It has a lot of uses.
honestly it can be good in some situations
why do you dislike my hero now?
It kinda lost stream after the whole dark demi arc for me. There were just a bunch of really bizarre decisions plot wise that turned me away from the series (stars and stripes losing to BS, Bakugo somehow surviving his heart EXPLODING, AFO's motivations being stupid, etc.)
I haven't read the finale yet but from what I saw it seems really strange? I don't know if you're caught up so I won't say but it doesn't seem very congruent with the established ideas of the series (like heros being famous of all things)
Man I disagree with so much in this video it’s unreal
This migh actually be the WORST anime video I've ever watched
