Leaf manipulation is literally Hawks quirk 😂 Hawk and Konan are very similar. If this guy was apart of UA he mightve actually been a decent quirk. BUT it’s also useless at times where no leaves are near
Yeah the quirk would have been good under UA honestly. Also that's why I took the whole useless with no leaves thing into consideration when I talked about the character potentially having a costume made out of leaves that way they have access to a certain amount at all times. Still the quirk is really solid and cool in concept.
I’d assume his suit would have some type of leaf dispenser or be covered with leaves to counter that weakness, but no fr, leaves are basically everywhere. Once he’s in somewhere like a forest or swamp, he’d be like tokoyami is when he’s in the dark.
Thirteens quirk should have been the most powerful quirk in the series and she should have died if she had this quirk bc the actual black whole can just wipe up all of the earth
someone said that 13 was to show that just because the quirk is more criminal and dangerous doesn't mean you can't be a hero. I agree, especially with the speech she made.
@@christy8 well Thirteen can manipulate the Black holes to only pull in one direction. Also about the 'dying' part: most Quirk users are immune or at least resistant against their Quirk's effect. Like Shoto & Endeavor are more resistant against heat and fire due to being human torches, or Bakugo also having an enhanced fire resistance (tho not as good as Shoto's) but also a certain shock absorbtion (otherwise he'd have an even worse case of broken bones than Season 1 Deku after his explosions). Case in point: every normal person would have likely been killed or crippled by getting hit by Thirteen's attack Kurogiri sent 'back to sender' through the warp gate. I mean a black hole in the back for 3 seconds is MASSIVE damage, like i said it would be fatal to most, or at least pull the spine out.
You know if anything it kinda balances things out, because if every side or background character had boring quirks and if every main character or supporting character hand Out of this world amazing useful quirks or just generally good quirks It would be kinda cliche, some people can make their boring quirks quirks interesting and others may chose to not act on their powerful quirks potential and just live normally but damn I wish some of these quirks were shown more
One simple thing I would think would be good for a decay counter, chainmail or some type of thing with a bunch of little pieces put together. Since chainmail is a bunch of tiny pieces he will not be able to touch decay it since 5 fingers will not be touching 1 piece
Super suprised you didn’t add 1-B guy with twin impact quirk. Super useful attack quirk with so much you could do if you were strong. But the guy doesn’t fight and just uses it with poltergeist quirk 😔 it could be used so much better
One hero with range attacks (example Snipe) and Magne is hardcountered due to only working on the humanbody. Magne pulling in some female hero with close combat skills soft countered. Don´t think Magne can be explored anyfurther with such a limited quirk. Mineta has a more versatile quirk than her.
@@verzeihturncoat27 dunno, I think a really maxxed out form of Magne could be like Magneto. But this would need a massive quirk awakening. in X Men there were very few counters against him (he fares bad against people like Jean). I understand the universe is different, but they also use the concept of "compatible counters".
@@Koraxus You would have to come up with uses for Magne´s quirk to convince me. Magneto despite the similar name has vastly different powers beginning from levitation not only pulling or pushing from objects/people from another.
@@verzeihturncoat27 Well yeah, I know magne was weaker and had range limitations (unlike Magneto). But some other people like Twice, Toga and Shigaraki had limitations too and they unlocked them. I did mention she'd need a massive awakening and more experience to even achieve anything similar. But magneto's flight/levitation power comes from control of magnetism as well. It's not really a different ability but the versatility of his own ability. Magneto's power in MHA world could be described as a mix between Magne and Ochaco, but with the power output of Shigaraki. This is why for me it's one of the wasted quirks. Having a well trained and strong enough magnetic quick would make you as dangerous as Twice or Shigaraki after MVA.
@@Koraxus Given Magne´s quirk is creating magnetism between people the only breaktrough in her quirk I could see is that the limitation based on sex would fall away. In line with her trans status sex/gender becoming no hinderance. So she could choose who becomes + and what becomes - and so controlling repel and attraction differently Toga´s break through was on her desire to become the other person. Shigaraki´s on his desire to destroy everything. I don´t see her awakening the ability to control objects. Human katamari damacy (every one attracts everyone) looks to me like the peak of her quirk.
I feel the quirk Poltergeist is a bit wasted. I feel the coloring (atleast in the anime so far) of quirks give hints towards their nature, quirks that deal with the manipulation of other quirks tend to have red & black coloring (Eraser, forced activation, All for one), quirks that manipulate themselves have a more rainbow/ bright multi coloring (one for all, creation). I feel that quirks that deal with gravity may have a pink-purple coloring (float and potentially poltergeist). The weight limit being around the range of average human at 137 pounds seems a bit specific to me and my theory is that its an area of effect gravity powered telekinetic quirk based of the users weight. The quirk is also noted to have no known limit on number of items controlled which points towards total weight being manipulated not making a difference but the key is each items individual weight. It would make sense that if gravity manipulation is the force behind Poltergeist with the body being the mass used as the gravity source that you would not be able to manipulate something heavier then your own weight. So someone with a larger build would get more use out of the quirk if the previous statements are true. Even if they are not true the actual application shown while impressive due to the number of items shown to be manipulated with fine control is not the best use of the quirk. I feel it can shine best with a hand to hand combat style with ranged options. You could use it to mimic having multiple limbs, place traps while in combat, manipulate weaponry beyond the normal range of motion a baseline human has, manipulate your own clothing or opponents clothing to limit or enhance force, destroy the internal mechanics of weapons' such as guns, etc. All that we have seen of poltergeist in the anime is essentially chucking junk you found with a bit of coordination and skill, heck it was only really effective because of size and twin impact. This method wouldnt even work in the field because you can not guarantee having junk or rubble without causing to much property damage. For support gear I would say a set of throwing knifes (similar to toga) some form of sleeping agent or paralytic to coat said knifes, a binding style item (like erasers scarf or even just some metal chains wrapped around the forearms, you could even use poltergeist to form the chains into different shapes like hooks or tonfa), a large sword or bat that would normally be a little bit to heavy to swing for extended periods of time but still light enough you could use it quirkless if push comes to shove, a gun (But really all hero's should have a gun or slingshot, something with long range quirkless capabilities) and perhaps armor that can be taken off in segments that you can manipulate to function as portable footholds, shields, ammunition, etc.
When you said leaf clothing the first thing that popped into my head was verry fanservesy. (Not only having three leads but needing to sacrifice parts of the suit farther exposing themselves)
Although we only see the quirk in use in the manga, I feel like the cloud quirk (belonging to Oboro Shirakumo) was wasted even though we only saw it a tiny bit, it could’ve been great for rescue (since we see Shirakumo use his quirk to save some kids from a collapsing building)
@@ImADeity i dont now where you got gaara's 70% and 130% but snatch can only control the sand that his own body is made out of and gaara can have infinite sand

@@coolbeans3752 uhm.. blood contains metal, mostly iron, say, you drank too much blood, you got metal pisoning, a bowl or two is still not deadly, and this is without counting the possibility of toga not having immunity against illness that spread by blood
Sandstorm and snatch were things that could be super cool. Leafication is intresting but we already have Kamui woods. Curious was wasted but i feel like it was justified due to getting Himiko on verge of death. I feel like Magne and her quirk were way too annoying to write so Hori just decided to remove that pesky factor. And Thirteen and Black Hole feel way too dangerous to write something intresting.
Leaf manipulation is not really different from Hawk’s feather manipulation. He does use his feathers to make wings that fly. He has minute control over each individual feather. And he can make shapes with it.
Curious' quirk is kind of like Bambietta's "The Explode" from bleach. Like Curious, she's also able to turn anything she wants into a bomb, but she can take it a step further by creating orbs of energy that turn anything they touch into a bomb, before making it explode.
You'd think having a guy that has leaf controlling quirk You'd put more trees in your base maybe even poisonous ones especially one of those that hurts like hell when touched not just one lame looking tree like shit Put that guy in a forest and he could make hardened leaf armor and poison weapons
Quirk list: 5. Sandman from Spiderman except he's a good guy 4. Sharp leaves. He could play darts in the forest easy peasy 3. Bakugou and Ochaco quirk fusion??? Touch shit and make it go BOOM 2. Human magnets to hang your kid's drawings on the fridge 1. Scared shitless by this one man
I feel like the landmines quirk could have been super op if it had gone through an evolution. Like imagine if it made it so she could place them in the air(similar to how Gentle used his quirk to make the air bouncy). Also adding on the fact the explosions would probably become more powerful, she could probably flatten an entire city just from the air. That's if her quirk evolution were to have allowed such a thing but still.
@@Johannsus Her quirks sucks and breaks things to molecular level. The wave transmits through the decaying pieces. Her quirk can destroy the decaying pieces without touching them. This way, she can stop the wave coming her way.
@@VivioSaf It's perfect then! I wonder if she'll get more screen time in the later story? Unless she's dead (forgot all who died during the wave and battle)
But the thing about curious, bakugo already has a better version of her quirk, since bakugo could theoretically make land mines by leaving his sweat on a surface, he could detonate it at will, not to mention his explosions can get way stronger than curious’s. I’m guessing bakugo’s gonna get that sweat landmine technique in the future so that’s why curious was killed off.
That wouldn't really be possible since bakugo makes his sweat explode by making sparks in his palm and as far as we know that is the only place he can make sparks. So the lady actually has a better version of bakugo's quirk.
That's the nice thing with fanfiction: we can expand the world ourselves and offer those deceased users or their families a chance to make those quirks shine a bit more before the canon character dies.
Imagine if Magne actually went full Magneta. She could literally fly, control electricity (or render electric quirks useless) and hurl carls at people.

MANGA FUKIDASHI, and i've only watched the anime so idk maybe i'm missing something, but this guy was only at that one combined 1-A, 1-B, reunion and I only remember him making a wall. Yoarashi, SO much potential in his quirk but he only uses it to entertain children and personal beef, so relatable I know. I truly hate to say this one, Sir Nighteye, he uses the quirk to dodge Izuku, and someone else. Mr. Smiley The most underused quirk. It is in an OVA most of the fans don't even know but he is so powerful. He might not be a hero but heroes could just show his video to Shigaraki and bam! He starts laughing hard and you won the war. Congrats!🎉 It would really work

A fun video topic to cover. Idk if its a wasted quirk but the space time warping quirk you know who had but also died lol would've been cool to see more of.
all it would take is for the to destabilize the spacetime continuum or Higgs field and the world would end, so I think it's for the best that they died
@@genyashinazugawa179 Manga spoilers....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Believe it or not its a nomu that uses the space time quirk.
Seeing Curious's quirk in the anime gave me inspiration for a quirk. Detonation: It grants the user ability to explode things at a telepathic level. The larger the object, the more of a "countdown" it has. For example: The average human would have a 3-minute countdown before they would explode while objects the size of a coffee cup explode immediately. Overuse of the quirk causes the user to have headaches. The user needs to make direct eye contact with their target so they can explode it. It's still a work in progress but I think I did good.
All for one, all for one does a good job stacking quirks don't get me wrong but two quirk combos I can think of right off the bat Amplivolt Denkis electricity quirk Weather manipulation Super regeneration Some sort of energy or electricity resistance 5 quirks I know but look at what happened when the user of amplivolt absorbed energy from a couple tasers, imagine striking yourself with lightning and using amplivolt, the other quirks would be to help you handle it Pump up(musculars quirk) and wolfram muscle augmentation. Wolfram was able to compare to allmight a little bit with muscle augmentation, albeit he had the quirk amplifier and allmight was weakened. Cover yourself in 1200 layers of augmented muscle I think Pump has a lot of potential actually By itself its powerful but some quirks work perfect with it For example Want an anti allmight like the USJ nomu? Get super regeneration so you can regenerate lost muscle faster(a huge weakness of pump up), get shock absorbtion and if you really want it an extra power up quirk like strike, power, or muscle augmentation. Shock absorbtion and pump up together could let you buff yourself up to insane sizes and then once the muscle breaches your skin, cover yourself in 1200 layers of shock absorbing muscles, super regeneration would help you cover pump ups weakness and keep up with allmights fast paced attacks. Another one I thought of is not technically canon but pump up + Carbon fiber muscles. It's never actually shown anywhere but with all the crap shown in mha I wouldn't be surprised if someone has muscules made of a bio-carbon fiber. I guess this is more of a uncanonical expansion of the quirk and I'm not entirely sure but pump up let's you manipulate your muscles too does it not? Otherwise the muscle that breaches skin would never form a pattern and would just be loose mass of muscle. So what if you utilized the muscle like black whip, or made extra limbs out of muscle All of this would be insane in the mha universe but I enjoy thinking up these things
Before I can even watch this video, I am already convinced that Lnadmine is an amazing yet wasted quirk that just left out within around 2 episodes. Dang awakened Himiko.
For the sand guy it reminded me of that one Navy dude from one piece that ate the rust rust fruit, and could just easily make ypur sword useless. This gave him an advantage over Zoro.
Slight anime spoiler's: Snatch would no longer counter decay in the war arc since that quirk has evolved and no longer requires all 5 finger's to touch in order to destroy something
There was this one villain that could manipulate glass, and my thought was that was freaking amazing, sad that it was just a one off villain that got defeated
i pretty much have an oc in the bnha universe that is basically the sand man based quirk but has bits of earth like element bending plus they can turn their entire body into sand and create sand copies of them self
Yaoyorozu's creation was seriously underused. It had the potential to be such a powerful asset, and yet hirokoshi reduced it to nothing but shields and cannons.
Snatch should have gotten a full, proper fight with the whole League. Sandstorm was basically a perfect counter to the whole League, and it would have been cool for him to be sent by the Safety Comission specifically to take down the League. -Shigaraki can't decay sand. -Sand can put out Dabi's fire. -Toga and Spinner can't really cut him. -Compress should need to touch his actual body to compress him. -If everyone else is countered, who can Twice double? Snatch didn't even need a lot. He just needed a single episode to fight the League to show off bis powers and let the League show off cool teamwork
5:33 Im pretty sure All for one has her quirk since Lady Nagant exploded when she betrayed him, am I the only one noticing quirks that others had that are then used by All for one or Shigaraki?
Also the lead guy is wasted because even though he was in the overhaul Arc he didn't got the enchanting drug that could probably make him control entire forest's or parks of leaves which would be seriously op and badass
If you consider it, the most practically powerful quirk for someone would be telekinetic crushing, or simply an inferior version of the Force from Star Wars. You could choke someone or straight-up crush their internal organs for an insta-kill with enough control. If it took no time to charge and no time to travel, you could kill anyone, including incredibly powerful villains like Overhaul and All for One, and heroes like All Might and Endeavour without breaking a sweat. Granted, this involves a 100% mortality rate, but powerful nonetheless. The only weak spot for this would be giants like Gigantomachia or Mt.Lady, whose organs are most likely much larger than average, and people who can reinforce their bodies. The latter would only be possible if they had enough time and knew what they were up against. So this is just my theory on what could be very OP, and considering the huge amount of people with quirks, probably exists somewhere in the world.
Snatch was fire for sure 💯 Plus Ultra Shigaraki would dust him because nothing stops Decay currently in the story , since the Awakening . Anything the sand will slow it alil bit like , PussyCat Hero Quirk … Curious should of stayed too , I feel HoriGOAT is getting pressured by the Higher ups of the anime industry & not having full free will … 13 is broken 💯💯
I feel like Dabi should have brought Magne back at least in some fights, as he was capable of copying the quirks of other members. Also it sucks that she was cut from the show right before they joined Liberation Front. Because it would literally give her money, resources and medical care needed to do her transition. Which potentially could have improved her quirk (assuming it's gender dysphoria that stops her from using her quirk on her own body - a mental blockade, instead of biological one, and even then - just being happier, could lead to quirk evolution, as strong emotions can lead to improvement of powers as seen with other characters). But I guess she was also too powerful. Like a direct counter to a lot of situations they had to fight later in the story. Same with Compress and Dabi, tbh. Just the final fight would have been so much easier, if those three were present. Magne and Compress giving them ultimate defences, by capturing and pushing away the enemies (or moving the members away from the danger). Like Magne could fully combat the whole strategy of splitting the League apart in the final war - by just using her quirk and making everyone stick to Toga. Also Dabi would have demolished whole war, by making infinite copies of all League members - infinite Shigarakis wreaking havoc on the Japan.
Hey, is it just me, or has anyone ever wondered if ectoplasm got ofa, would his clones be able to use it. Since then you would basically be able to have like 10 Detroit smashes or something. Basically an army of ofa users. If the clones could, I would just regard ofa to be wasted on toshinori and deku. Since if you could have a single great hero or you could just have an army of people which could do the same thing that one great hero could do individually. So basically, you got an army just having the power to change the weather from sheer strength. On top of that, it wont matter if the body isn't trained since it's just a clone. The clone would blow up and that be it create another. Also Since ofa would enhance ectoplasm's quirk, he could probably make a greater quantity or clones which are more durable or something. So really if ectoplasm's clones could use ofa, I would say that ofa is the most wasted quirk in existence.

Endeavor would roast Leaf to ashes.
I’d assume his suit would have some type of leaf dispenser or be covered with leaves to counter that weakness, but no fr, leaves are basically everywhere. Once he’s in somewhere like a forest or swamp, he’d be like tokoyami is when he’s in the dark.

Thirteen's quirk probably should've been on a villain.
it probably would have gotten used more if that were the case

I wish Magne was in the war arc With the rest of the League and the PLF It will have be a different story then
One hero with range attacks (example Snipe) and Magne is hardcountered due to only working on the humanbody.
So she could choose who becomes + and what becomes - and so controlling repel and attraction differently
Toga´s break through was on her desire to become the other person.
I wish Curious Survive tho she was my favorite her quirk was interesting
Although we only see the quirk in use in the manga, I feel like the cloud quirk (belonging to Oboro Shirakumo) was wasted even though we only saw it a tiny bit, it could’ve been great for rescue (since we see Shirakumo use his quirk to save some kids from a collapsing building)

Detonation should be the name instead if combustion.

All for one, all for one does a good job stacking quirks don't get me wrong but two quirk combos I can think of right off the bat
Amplivolt
Denkis electricity quirk
Weather manipulation
Super regeneration
Some sort of energy or electricity resistance
5 quirks I know but look at what happened when the user of amplivolt absorbed energy from a couple tasers, imagine striking yourself with lightning and using amplivolt, the other quirks would be to help you handle it
Pump up(musculars quirk) and wolfram muscle augmentation. Wolfram was able to compare to allmight a little bit with muscle augmentation, albeit he had the quirk amplifier and allmight was weakened. Cover yourself in 1200 layers of augmented muscle
I think Pump has a lot of potential actually
By itself its powerful but some quirks work perfect with it
For example
Want an anti allmight like the USJ nomu?
So what if you utilized the muscle like black whip, or made extra limbs out of muscle
All of this would be insane in the mha universe but I enjoy thinking up these things
Big sis Mac didn’t deserve to die well at least the way she did and so early

Midnight’s quirk was wasted too.
Also the lead guy is wasted because even though he was in the overhaul Arc he didn't got the enchanting drug that could probably make him control entire forest's or parks of leaves which would be seriously op and badass
Who is the lead guy
Landmine and explosion would be a overpowered combo
Snatch was fire for sure 💯 Plus Ultra Shigaraki would dust him because nothing stops Decay currently in the story , since the Awakening . @@Kidoroki Yea true & he even explained what he was trying to destroy & not having drawbacks , he could of wipe everything out tbh

Snatch should have at least have had a chapter or two fighting shigiraki
