I am considering a Fraser from Stirling but the only thing that bothers me is the central triangle at the 12 o'clock which sits slightly either to the left or the right of centre .. it's a small thing but I am ocd about precision and this would bother me ... I am torn whether to buy one or not, if this wasn't a thing I would have no hesitation.
It's not a bad watch for the money mate . And named after a very brave young man . They don't hand out VC to just anyone . The company should be applauded for giving money to forces charity. That said I really couldn't wear a watch with crown not a 3 o'clock position , it really annoys me . But who am I. Big shout out from bonnie Scotland Andrew .👍
Looks a beauty and at the price you cannot go wrong. I pulled the trigger myself last week on a British mil spec number. Collecting my H1 from Zero West later this month……. Super Excited. If i ever catch up with you and Workington Watches i’ll let you guys take a look 😜
Good looking watch man. I really like that case shape and that lumed bezel...big plus there. So that book on the Last Tommies" gotta read that...right up my alley. great episode. i wouldn't have heard of them otherwise.
1st! lol, I actually bought a micro recently, a Lorier Neptune. Some micros are great value & an NH35 isn't bad at this price, this could make a great beater watch!
@@watchandrew Yeah absolutely, the last watch I bought before the Lorier was the BB58 blue & it's surprising how close in terms of finishing & feel it is for a fraction of the price!
Andrew W - Could not help but reply since you mentioned the Lorier Neptune. It was first and my last ever Micro Brand purchase. Although a handsome watch, I found it to be awkward and uncomfortable to wear... slid about on wrist, lugs too long and flat and crown protruded into wrist.
@@Andrew.W75 - Version 2, I was unaware that they had changed the dimensions in later version. Oh one other thing, the Dot markers I found a taste too large and over filled (bug eyed affect). Plus excess crystal glare. I did like their build quality and reliable NH mvnt.
Great review! If you can you somehow do a review on seiko spb143 that would be awesome. bit of a popular watch, I’m considering buying and would like your take on it lol.
Hi Jason I own a spb143 and the watch is outstanding a real step up from seiko this watch punches above its weight it gives my BB58 a good run for its money it’s a superb watch hope that helps 👌
Like the dial and military heritage tribute, but I run from Micro Brands. Are grown men still interested in Nato Straps, my last one was decades in college days. Anyway, nice gesture giving this chap some exposure on his venture.
That’s because the watch isn’t meant to be built for flashiness. The brand is tuned towards gun guys and people who need a watch for duty gear. I was turned onto these watches by a former swat officer in my fire academy.
Blimey, just looked on the website and it’s all sold out. Nice review Andrew, very fair. Let’s be honest lots of brands trade on military connections, some decidedly tenuous, but as you say the creator here is the real deal and you have to applaud that. I also change straps and watches to match and yeah, it’s a bit wanky but why not!
Looks good to me mate. I don’t mind Micro Brands. They have to be in front of me though, if I stumble across something I like, we’ll you know….? Mate I have to giggle when I saw the bandaid and then the Swiss Army Knife… Did it bite you…? Are you ok…?

It looks great on video for sure!
Loved the Swiss army knife and the camo shirt didn't realise you were special forces 😁
Another good video 👏

It’s definitely could be a great beater watch,, there is fun to be had in watches at this price point 🙌🇬🇧

@@jpdavis6042 Which version did you have? I've got the version 3 which is thinner than the previous versions & I don't have any issues with it

Just finished my night on call and watched your new video. So........shirt and strap combo is a new thing then 🤣🤣

. Nato straps are not age specific and are tied strongly to military and LEO.
Great video and great sentiments. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Thanks Peter, really appreciate that 🇬🇧
God Bless Them ALL ... the Sterling is OK . But I think Your suggestions, are on point.

Giving to charity is always a good thing, but the watch itself is a Seiko Captain Willard homage.
Looks good to me mate.

Why does the bezzle move like that. What is it’s purpose??
Nice review mate and yes that bezel does need a rethink 😎😎
Nice watch. Way too big for my taste though. Good to see you supporting some smaller brands mate. 😁👌
Cheers Joe…. 👍
You should try get your hands on an Elliot Brown! Amazing quality
Looks exactly like my SteelDive that I paid $100 for.
poor man's squale ?!
Lol, shows himself playing with a Swiss Army knife and then is sporting a plaster on his thumb in the later part 😂
😂😂 I had the plaster on from the start!
