Honestly, as bizarre and messed up as 2022 is, the fact that Jeff Foxworthy can still be both funny and relevant is kind of comforting.
How bizarre is it REALLY? Humans have dealt with everything that we are for thousands of years. Nothing has changed, except the technology.
As far as “ praying for tommy” with us it’s the opposite. I get the text, my husband asks all those questions 😂😂

@@davidlee6253 Like I should talk. Marylander here. South of the Mason Dixon line, so technically southern, but never thought myself to be. Then came the day I was in Syracuse NY helping my son to settle in for his summer co-op and while talking with rep with the local mass transit to sort out bus schedules (concept totally foreign to my son) the rep asked me where I was from. When I said Maryland, he said, "Ah, I thought you were from the south." Me - ????? I said, "I'm not from the south." Rep said, "Well, I thought you were because of your southern darwl." Me again - ????? I turned to my son and told him what the rep said, and my son said, "Well mom, yeah, you do have a southern accent, I only noticed it since I have been in Rochester at school."
After I finished my convo with the rep, I asked my son, "Well, you were born and bred in the same place I was, how come YOU don't have a drawl?" It is true, raised in the same community, but his pronunciation is completely devoid of any taint of southern accent. God figure.

I don't like sweet tea (makes my teeth itch), Dr says it is a no no with my type 2 diabetes, and, really, I am not supposed to drink much tea cuz of kidneys stones (yep, much tea can cause'em to form or, if'n ya got one, cause it to git bigger. But, I do enjoy a good glass of lemonade (yeah, sugar there too, but the acid from the lemons is a good deterrent to the stones .... so that drink is a catch 22). It sucks getting old and being blessed with the legacy of family ailments.(Thank you mom, thank you dad).

Netflix should post which specials these clips are from. I see them post a bunch of clips from various comedians and rarely do they ever tell us what the name of special is so we can watch the rest of it. With some of the new people, they might only have one, but someone like Jeff has several.

Trust me if you want a bit of comedy with your horror sit near black people during the movie. You will get the most hilarious running commentary on the sheer stupidity of said characters. We will actually talk to the screen as if said actors can actually hear us saying things like dude! Get out of the house! Or wtf?! Don't split up are you mental??... I wouldn't investigate that strange noise if I were you... Or my favorite DON'T GO DOWN IN THE BASEMENT!! 🤣

Man, I know the brushstroke 'maneuver', that was a regular practice for me, my neighborhood was full of dogs. Big ones, small ones, some that were noisy footballs.
If you were lucky...and I do mean *lucky*, one of your pals had the key to the garden hose faucet...and you'd just spray the hell outta the shoe.
Fact of life, I took my 12 yo daughter to see a scary movie. It was a dud. There was this on scary part where this pendulum came out of the fireplace. We were behind some black women; they were talking trash about how bad the movie was. Then the guy was in the fireplace and the pendulum came swing down. We got showered with popcorn. Think God it was not soda. LMAO
