As a lefty I've been to afraid to crochet out of fear of failing. I've always wanted to crochet. So I'm doing it now! Thank you so much for your lessons on UA-cam. God bless you.
Thank you for being a blessing! For decades I’ve always wanted to learn to crochet and it turns out, I can’t find a mentor who could teach me hands on because am a lefty. Finally, am retired and have no agenda and a lot of free time…to learn to crochet. Thought I’d try my hand in learning to crochet right handed. The fine motor skills, didn’t work. And when I skimmed down your detailed description, you offered a link to your tutorial for lefties! I have found your tutorial absolutely helpful for me and the bonus; you also have a slo-mo feature for people like myself. You’ve made me feel very confident in overcoming my challenges on my journey to crocheting. You are positively a gem! Aloha🌴
I feel petty revenge for learning to crochet with my left hand since my parents were very strict about teaching me to write with my right hand as a kid, something about it being “wrong” to be left-handed. So as an adult now I do the evil laughter as I crochet 🧶 with my left hand. Learning videos like this one come as a blessing
What?! Oh wow. I’m so glad you are getting to crochet left handed, too!! I struggle teaching to left handed in person but LOVE that I can flip the video to help my left peeps! Having a creative outlet, especially for a lefty, I think is important for your heart and soul. ❤️❤️
Thank you so much! My grandmother tried to teach me to crochet 45 years ago but being a leftie I just couldn't. In 30 minutes I have created some fairly mediocre crochet stitches by her standards, but I am thrilled, I am doing in & with practice I know it will look good!! thank you so much!❤
I’ve been trying to learn how to crochet from family. They’re all right handed. And my stitches always looked funky. Thank you! Very easy to learn from this video!
Thank you so much! I'm a female physician in my 50's, and I was inspired by my college aged daughter who recently took up crocheting. I'm left-handed and was so thankful to find this video specifically for left-handers. It took numerous tries just to get the first row and then the first and second row, and then the first, second and third row done! I had to keep starting over. But I could rely on your video for guidance! Finally finished my first patch of crochet and am so proud! It's not quite a scarf or purse or sweater yet, but I'll get there! Thanks so much!
My grandmother tried to teach me how to crochet, but where I am left handed it was difficult for both of us. I'm so excited to find your tutourials! Thank you so much. P.S. I cant believe you can crochet left and right handed! Wow!
I've been crocheting forever, like since I was 10 or so, but a right handed person taught me and I'm left handed. It was really nice relearning some things that will hopefully make crocheting easier on me!
Thank you!! As a daughter from a Long line of handcraftwomen in my family, its so sad not to be able to do any handycrafts as chrochet och Knit because of being a lefty and simply no one in my family can think and show me ”lefty” style. So I love this!! So easy to follow along 🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU, you have explained this so clearly. I am dyslexic and find it hard to get the movements right but you really explain everything so thoroughly it makes it fun!
Thank for this video! You have given me hope that I can learn this. When I was a little girl (8 yrs. or so) my grandmother tried to teach me how to crochet. She was right-handed and I was left-handed. Needless to say she got very frustrated with me doing it wrong commented that I was too stupid to learn this. I was embarrassed and heartbroken. I never picked up a crochet needle again. Fast-forward 53 years my granddaughter wants to learn and I'm going to teach her with your incredibly easy to follow tutorials. Thank you so much.
That breaks my heart for you. You are NOT alone. I've heard countless stories like yours. I taught my niece in person who is left handed and yes it can be a challenge but we both had to push through and she did it! :-). I'm so thankful for technology today that helps me mirror the video image and assist our lefty friends. All my best to you and your granddaughter. You are making SPECIAL and lasting memories. I hope to do that with future grandchildren. Bless you!
YOU are an amazing teacher....I just started learning last night and love how detailed your explanations are. I’m lefty so this video is super informative and valuable to me. Great job 👏🏼👍🏼❤️
Left handed AuDHD and I have been struggling with learning how to do this but your video just saved my life and the life of my computer screen and any other inanimate object. Thank you!
I'm a 15 year cross stitcher and I've wanted to get into crochet for the past few years but never was able to get the hang of it from books and whatnot, found your channel this morning and I'm loving it! So easy to understand, all i have to do now is go yarn shopping :3 Subbed!

@@GoodKnitKisses I also downloaded all of the left handed tutorials you made so i can also watch them while in day hospital :3 The way you teach I'll be making things in no time :D Thank you again for taking your time to make and upload them all.
I remember in the 2000s having to learn how to crotchet by sitting across the table from my aunt and trying to mirror image what she was doing. It was so hard, thank you so much for this! I am excited to try again in my 30s!
I’m so grateful for this lefty beginners playlist!! I wanted to learn how to crochet and your videos are so clear and helpful. Thank you! Single crochet down and onto half double 🤓
You're such an angel to make left-handed videos! I'm a spinner, and I've gotten to the point where I desperately need to do something with all of my finished yarn. 😂 I had a frustration blow-out with knitting as a kid, so your videos are my last hope. (Because who really wants to loom a sweater?)
I have watched every other video I could find, and none were as clear to me as yours. Plus, they were all for right-handed people. Thank you for making clear, easy-to-follow videos for us lefties! ❤
This video is great!! I’ve always known how to knit and I learnt right handed. But for some reason I find crocheting left handed is easier! It feels more similar to knitting thank you 👍😆
no one in my family is left handed i had to learn how to knit right handed so this video has been so helpful I tried loads of videos before this one and not a single one helped me. Thankyou!
This video was extremely helpful to me and my dominant left hand! I didn’t know anything about crochet but I was able to follow along. Took me about 3 days to finally get it right haha. I’m going to watch the next lesson. Thank you again.
Just started after watching this video and I've already finished my first row back down and now I'm about to do my third row and I am so excited to do more yarn projects with watching your videos. Thank you!
Thank you!!!I have been trying to learn how to crochet for 1 one year but couldnt and I finally gave up but you finally thaught me how to crochet I am so happy.
Finally! I've been trying to figure out how to crochet (as a lefty) for YEARS and I could make the foundation chain but never could figure out the single crochet - thank you, thank, you, thank you for such a clear description. I did get a little lost on that first turn but I just kept backing up the video and studying until I figured it out.

Hi! Thank you for uploading this video! I decided I wanted to learn how to crochet so I can learn to make a blanket for my newborn-to-be. I'm left-handed so watching other videos on UA-cam from the right-handed perspective was weird 😅! Btw! Your voice sounds like a big hug from home. I'm not sure where you're from, but hearing it made me emotional and homesick! Thanks again for this video! Fingers crossed, I can finally learn how to crochet! Take care and God bless!
