But now Drishti 10 / Hermes 900 drone is 15% indigenous now. While 2 are delivered to Navy and 2 to be given to Army. If an order of 60 drones is received they promise 35-45% indigenous content. And if they get 100 drones order they promise 85% local content. In buisness feasibility matters. IMO. If this is the true case then it's perfectly fine. Ok.

American 🇺🇸 C-130J Super Hercules is an old platform transport plane which is quite small should instead go for Brazilian 🇧🇷 Embraer C-390 Millennium which is latest platform and bigger but smaller than European 🇪🇺Airbus A400M Atlas which is quite big.

China has inducted its 1000th, 5+ gen fighter,
India is all set to decide the winners of remanded MRFA program, program was renamed because all the contenders have changed their offerings to 6th gem fighters like FGFA, tempest and American 6th gen fighter NGAD, meanwhile airforce has said till the deal is finalised 36 rafels are enough to counter Chinese stealth fighters.

Yes there has been delay in AMCA funding becoz ADA were slow in completing design and ignorant bureaucrats were opposing it but Narendra Modi approved the project after ADA request at PMO office. Congress start project and doesn't start work on it like they did with Bullet Train, Freight corridor, and many. Tejas was inducted in 2015 and now we will get Tejas mk1a atm. We need to think strategically not thinking like developing partnership with Brazil. If i remember correctly, their passenger planes are not fuel efficient compared to Boeing. Also i think they depend on foreign engine manufacturer if my memory is right.

The world isn't waiting for Tejas Mk1A, it's waiting for Tejas Mk2. Secondly, one single engine cannot be developed to be operated at 6000 m and sea level too. If you do, it becomes bulky with extra accessories.

Why are we running after Rafale aircraft when the order book of Dassault aviation is filled up for next ten years. If Dassault wins the tender for 114 MRFA fighter jets ,How and when will they supply those jets to India ?? Looking at the pace with which China is inducting their J20 stealth fighter ,their targets of 1000 J20 by 2035 is absolutely achievable. How does IAF counter such a scenario ??? AMCA production will take atleast a decade at the pace HAL is moving.Such a scenario will be really frightening for India. We need to increase our pace of inducting new aircrafts so as to counter this threat emanating from China. In the interim we should go for the purchase 200 F 35 jets from America in the next 10 years with transfer of critical technology .

But wise steps should be taken for example till now MRFA deal hasn't finalized for 3-4 years we are still saying discussing discussing and still discussing.. After 4 years if we finalize and buy those 4.5 generation for such a humongous money.. Remember Tejas MK1A is there in the same space. HT will not win any orders.

And neither tejas it's lightest in its category as Tejas empty weight 6560 kg , while f 50 and jl 15 are same category supersonic bird with empty weight 6460 kg and 4690 kg, its different category then htt 40 as it cater to lighter section , like Aermacchi S-211 or T-5 Brave Eagle or 312/314 Tucano or you may try textron scorpion , I do understand there is no clear demarcation between them but Tejas is clearly out of that range , even textron scorpion is between htt 40 and Tejas. Tejas is more in advance trainer to proper fighter, while light attack lies in range of intermediate trainer to advance jet. The category of Htt 40 is like of male dorne but with a pilot.
