I never comment on UA-cam videos but I love this and your channel. I grew up whitetail hunting this way in nw Montana and still do. Our game has been cleaned out from wolves so hunting is hard anymore. This reminds me of my days learning to sneak through thickets looking for movement. I live for this. Well done. I hope you have many years of this to come!!
Brother I hope that in your busy that you really appreciate getting to chase that beautiful awesome buck in the snow, I say this because living in Alabama (Roll Tide) we don't get much snow and since my 10 back surgeries I have been unable to hunt those beautiful creatures. It does My heart good to see a Man get so much joy out of doing what We love, I've got to say I'm a little jealous but more than anything very proud for you and your harvest, great job my friend...
Good tracking man! Your grunts either stopped him or brought him back into ya. He knew you’re there just thought you were another buck is why he didn’t spook.😎
Great Job. I really enjoy the entire tracking aspect of hunting. I only wish I had picked up on it sooner. The shoulder cam is excellent and as a beginning/novice tracker I like how you take a quick second to explain why you make some of the decisions that you do. Keep the great videos coming.
curt Pickett glad you enjoyed it. If you’re looking for more content then check out the Snap Buck on my channel from earlier this year. You can also search for UNFOUND Jeff Doyle on Vimeo for a tracking video without snow.
Looking forward to next season stalking the adk mountains for a monster or anything hiking back in and tracking em down like this any buck is a reward gorgeous buck man I love your videos
Finally had a chance to catch up on this and man was it awesome, You hands down are one of my favorite hunting channels on youtube. I think you really do an amazing job with the filming, and obviously know what your doing always. Not sure if its a gopro, but idk how you do the behind your back zoom so well really great work, Congrats on the beautiful buck and Next year the ADK buck will be waiting for ya, just larger!
Funny to see that camo pattern being marketed now, Its very versatile, we used it for Mtn and Urban night ops in Afghanistan years ago....That looked like a close shot for a scope? you must have only seen hair....I don't stand hunt either....Great vid...
Western MA has quite a bit of mountainous state land and much of it is large in acreage. Most just think of the Eastern MA, or Boston- metro and high human density. Great seven pointer. Too bad the gun laws in that state are the pits. Great seven pointer.
jim Gallagher spot on. I like clearing snow or leaves away from where I’ll stand so I can be stealthy. The noise doesn’t worry me much when I’m planning to follow it with a grunt. Sounds just like a buck making a scrape.
Ya Right I am in Michigan the only Bucks I see is driving I-75 on the way to Deer camp I have seen a Buck in the wild since 1984 from lewinston , MI as a Ten Pointer crossed my path within 15 steps I guess you could call it buck fever I was set up and let a Giant ten pointer walk right next too me how embarrassing it is writing my experience 2 you all.
Just came across your channel and I'm absolutely fascinated! I plan on doing some tracking during our late Bow/ML season here in New York. Anyway, where did you get that grunt call you use? Its sounds excellent!!
At least 220# on the hoof. Could be up 250#. We gotta big N. PA buck that dressed out at 247#. Took 5 of us to get him back up the hollow and into the truck. We’re all sweating that night😎
Brad Jarvis by the time I got out of the woods the check in stations had all closed and I had to check him in on a Sunday. Not many places are open on Sunday and the place I found didn’t have a scale so my best guess is 160lbs.
That is a deep loud grunt tube what make model is that? I have used the bow grunter plus hands free call with success here in Michigan it can get loud and deep like that that grunt tube you have is huge is it a burden to have in your pocket or do you exclusively carry around neck
Very well done!! Great filming and narration without dragging it out and over-talking like most out there. What are you using for scope caps? They lay a lot flatter than my blizzard cap and I like that idea. Thanks
Nice buck...like crazy with all the potato chip covering that you even got a shot...good job...shows that sitting at home on your ass does not pay off but getting into the woods does.
I was wrong about the drag it was tougher than I thought. By the time I got him out that night the check stations were all closed. I had to drive 50 miles to get him checked the following day to the only place open on Sunday, Merrimac Sports and they didn’t have a scale.
That was a quick hunt, great strategy as it turned out. I have the TC bone collector very similar, just love that gun!
First time watcher. My family and I enjoyed your post of you and your dad successfully hunting deer. Thanks much and Merry Christmas. Your new viewer.

I'm obsessed with your channel. I am West Coast, mule deer - but the stalk is the stalk. Well done.
Just found your channel, and love it! Finally a guy who hunts the way I was taught 45 years ago by my Dad what a blast!!!!! Slow by yourself,,,,
Excellent stalking and a bit of serendipity can’t go wrong
Nicely done. I hunt the Adirondacks and the terrain and cover always makes it a challenge. Woods hunting is the best.
All I can say is wow. Love the camera view and clarity. KEEP the videos coming ! love every one of them. Thanks for takin me along.
Allen Spicer Well said Allen.
What a year for tracking in New England ! Great snow that lasted. Nice work, sir.
Always a pleasure to catch your videos!! Thanks for posting!
Your deer hunting video's are so cool it's like being there with you thanks you so much and happy hunting !
Good tracking man! Your grunts either stopped him or brought him back into ya. He knew you’re there just thought you were another buck is why he didn’t spook.😎
Love to see real excitement after the shot, great video, dandy buck, you show what hunting is truly about
Great job buddy. Awesome video and great lessons to use and take in the woods. Thanks for sharing.

Jedidiah • ...His scopes probably a 2.5 or 4x. I use a straight 4X in woods just like those here in N. C. PA
Sweet hunt ! Fun to watch! Congrats!!!!
Congratulations, Looks like you had a good day.
What a great hunting video. Thank you for sharing it!
Beautiful buck
I’m hooked gonna try savoy state forest in Mass my grand father use to hunt there in40s and 50’s also Mohawk trail state forest
Good luck my friend. I hunt there too. Tough hunting but worth it if you get on one.
Western MA has quite a bit of mountainous state land and much of it is large in acreage. Most just think of the Eastern MA, or Boston- metro and high human density. Great seven pointer. Too bad the gun laws in that state are the pits. Great seven pointer.
Even in Western MA the deer population is wicked low then what it should be…
Very cool videos!!
Looking forward to it buddy, keep at it, great channel here
That was a great hunting video. Good job.

jim Gallagher spot on. I like clearing snow or leaves away from where I’ll stand so I can be stealthy. The noise doesn’t worry me much when I’m planning to follow it with a grunt. Sounds just like a buck making a scrape.

@Jeff Doyle, what type of speed loader are you using? That looks like a good one.
Good buck!
Just came across your channel and I'm absolutely fascinated! I plan on doing some tracking during our late Bow/ML season here in New York. Anyway, where did you get that grunt call you use? Its sounds excellent!!
Beautiful, very seldom can I hunt with snow .. usually lots of crunchy leaves, lol in South Louisiana...so just how big is he? 220lbs?
At least 220# on the hoof. Could be up 250#. We gotta big N. PA buck that dressed out at 247#. Took 5 of us to get him back up the hollow and into the truck. We’re all sweating that night😎
Jeff, great job, great hunt, great buck. I guess those grunt calls work. Have you tried the bleep call....doe call ?
For sure, but I just use my mouth for a bleat call.
Great video! What did he weigh?
Brad Jarvis by the time I got out of the woods the check in stations had all closed and I had to check him in on a Sunday. Not many places are open on Sunday and the place I found didn’t have a scale so my best guess is 160lbs.
Jeff Doyle good deal!! You had a great season last year!
He looked bigger than 160#, but you would be the one to know best.. lol
Now stop telling everyone about our beautiful bucks in Massachusetts. Lol
@@jeff_doyle ...160# dressed out right?’ For sure
Great job. I like your footage. What kind of camera do you use?
Maine North Woods Hunter thanks, all filmed with a GoPro 7.
Great vid Jeff. Congrats on that nice buck! What grunt call do you use?
A Moore that’s the Quaker Boy Brawler, love this call.
Jeff Doyle it did sound really good , I’ll have to get one. Thanks
It worked for me yesterday in wisconsin
Great vid! What type or brand of speed loader are you using?
Thanks. I’m using a Thompson Center 4-N-1 Quick Shot Loader with Bullet Starter
That is a deep loud grunt tube what make model is that? I have used the bow grunter plus hands free call with success here in Michigan it can get loud and deep like that that grunt tube you have is huge is it a burden to have in your pocket or do you exclusively carry around neck
Hi John, it’s always around my neck while hunting & I either zip it in my jacket or slip it in a chest pocket. Quakerboy Brawler.
Nice job nice to see someone else shooting a smoke pole even though he could have used a shotgun I do the same !
Hey great video . Also what brand is your extra powder/sabbot holder that you also used to start the bullet was pretty damn cool. Thanks !
That adrenaline is something isn’t it? Excellent
Blue Dog ... If you could only bottle that stuff huh?! Wooowy
Im loving the over your shoulder camera perspective! Care to share how you set up your camera? Keep up the great work!!
ADKMtn Tracker he doesn’t answer messages
Go pro7. He answers often inthe chat
Loose powder? How many grain? Hornady sst ??
maloneyships 120 grain of loose Black Horn 209 and Barnes 250 gr TMZ BT. They are TIGHT down the pipe but has worked well for me.
Very well done!! Great filming and narration without dragging it out and over-talking like most out there. What are you using for scope caps? They lay a lot flatter than my blizzard cap and I like that idea. Thanks
Thanks. They are the Leupold alumina caps. Love them.
@@jeff_doyle I will pick some up. Thanks and keep the good stuff coming!
Any relatives from Fairlee or Post Mills, Vermont? Have friends from there, about t0 years ago. Jim and David.
No must be a different Doyle.
Congrats!! what did he weight in at?
Good job man
What grunt call are you using, sounds great!
Hey Tom, it’s the Buck brawler.
Nice buck...like crazy with all the potato chip covering that you even got a shot...good job...shows that sitting at home on your ass does not pay off but getting into the woods does.
What brand grunt tube do you prefer to use? Thanks
COOL!
How much did that big joker weigh? Here in norther VA a big 6 year old buck only weighs like 170lbs.
I was wrong about the drag it was tougher than I thought. By the time I got him out that night the check stations were all closed. I had to drive 50 miles to get him checked the following day to the only place open on Sunday, Merrimac Sports and they didn’t have a scale.
Now how the hell you gonna get him back to the truck?! Gonna be a long drag!
Keith Hardee drag him like God intended.
Lmfao 😂😂 he is still dragging it in 2021
Gotta strap him to a couple long drag poles. Much easier than by his rack
That was a suprise to sneek on him with all that crunch a ness . good job.
From the time you finished grunting to the seven minutes later did you move? Because the view of the woods you were in totally changed.
Just rotated to the right about 90 degrees. He ran down toward the cut, where I picked up his track.
