In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who has read 3% Man, over 10 times. His girlfriend of 9 months moved with him to another state and they moved in together. However, he has caught her in several white lies about little things. He confronted her about it, she promised to not do it again and yet he continues to catch her lying about stupid things that shouldn’t matter. She said this was common in her family to hide what she was up to from her parents growing up. Integrity and trust are really important to him and he asks how she should handle her continued lying.

When this type of woman speaks about her "past trauma" you can't even believe she's being honest about that.

I grew up in a non-religious family environment where both parents worked in education. My father maintained a *decades long affair* with a post doc. & we've all only just discovered we each knew about it independently from each other. Growing up , I learnt that lying is ok but now, decades later and recently being on the receiving end of this behaviour from an unfaithful gf, I am desperate to correct my habit.
Another problem is when your girlfriend’s favorite answer to everything is “I don’t know.”
You mean when you try to talk to them about something they're doing that's bothering one of you? It sucks, man. If they're carrying trauma or had a really bad upbringing they don't always know why they're doing the thing and they're going to need professional help to work those things out. Recently broke things off with a girl due to multiple issues around this. I told her I loved her and that she needed to be going to therapy if she wanted to stay with me. After a couple months of inaction from her I said "See ya! 👋". Just do your best to lovingly open them up and be very clear about what you want and expect so that when you look back on the situation, you know in your heart you gave it your best shot.

Some people lie pathologically. Its a sad state of affairs, but like you say Corey, you can't stay with someone who breaks your trust like that, even if the lies aren't a huge big deal in themselves, those aren't going to be there only lies occurring.

The dude sounds like a square. The lying about it was wrong. But then just her taking them because she wants to shouldn’t be a problem at all. It’s like asking your girl for permission to have a beer when you get home from work
yea its one of those is he being a square because she is lying. or is he being controlling adding to her habit of lying because she wants a gummy and not to be negged on for doing so.

Im a contractor doing a remodel at a hotel out of town. Had a female employee flirting with me for weeks. Eventually we started dating and in about 3 weeks she was using the I love you phrase and spending every night with me. During this time i was doing quite a lot for her like fixing her vehicle saving her thousands and always giving her money when she asked which was small amounts however very frequent.
4 months into it I find out that she had went to ex-boyfriend's house claiming to have a repair done on her car and nothing happened. That was a major red flag for me so I initiated a little investigation to find out that she had slept with him and was contacting him speaking to him on the phone almost daily. She of course denied all this up until it was no way to say otherwise and admitted to sleeping with him once approx 2 months Pryor and never speaking to him again which was also a lie as she apparently spoke with him that day. She beg and beg and said she's being honest now and wants us to stay together what do y'all think

If you're lying to your parents that means you're doing things that you shouldn't be doing. My mind: If you're doing things you shouldn't be and lying to your parents then what are you doing that I don't know about? If you lie to your parents you're lying to everyone imo

Great Video! Thank you for the content… to be honest, this is actually a wake up call for me… I should come clean in my relationship about certain things I’ve been hiding so far….. such as being right-wing (which nowadays is considered to be a crime or evil)

If she is afraid that he is going to yell at her or put her down or call her names or make her feel bad then yes she is always going to lie.. just like in childhood. What he needs to do is practice being calm when she lies to him so this is what I used to do. Tell your woman that it's okay to tell you the truth. And eventually she will start testing you with little truths here and there and repetition is the key to success so always always keep your cool and stay calm and say "thank you for telling me the truth".... I hate to say this but it's almost like whenever a pet does something good you give them a treat. I'm not saying a woman is a dog or a cat or a pet or anything but if she starts being honest, reward her by telling her you are proud and you very much respect a woman who tells the truth.
It's also important to make sure that you never lose your pool and make her feel bad or upset when she is honest just tell her thank you for being honest even if she lies at first and then tells you the truth later just say thank you for telling me the truth I really appreciate it, it makes me trust you a lot more.
This guy needs to stop testing his woman because he isn't saying that he set boundaries and said for the edibles to not be touched and it also seems like this woman has an addiction problem or is using the edibles to cover up her anxiety

Yeah, the part where he was upset that she took the quarter of the gummy, I don't understand why. Either he wants her to tell him every time she takes some, which is weird, or he's not actually comfortable with her doing it even though he's telling her he is.
I think he was more worried about the 1/4 gummy being taken before she went to work.
I don’t condone lying but sometimes we do/say things to spare someone’s feelings and/or to avoid an argument. Quite possibly she found in this guy someone just like her parents who she fear’s telling the truth to because of the fallout ( severe/controlling?) that occurs when the truth is told. She’s supposed to report to him when she took that 1/4 gummy?

She’s a grown woman, and if she wants to take a quarter of a gummy, she should be able to do that whenever she wants to without having to be accountable to him. Lying about it is one thing, but she should have the right to make her own choices when it comes to imbibing in substances Without having to seek his permission.

There's toxicity both ways in this relationship.
1. Telling him she faked an orgasm right after sex: WTF? Why would she say that unless she was trying to poke at his insecurities? It's not just that it was a lie, it was the fact that she HAD to say that out loud, to get some sort of reaction.
2. This dude needs to chill about the gummies. It's NBD (esp. since she's dosing very responsibly) and I would resent having to ask a guy permission for that.
I wonder if her saying and doing things to spite him as you said with the orgasm to get a reaction is why he is thinking she will do things to spite him behind his back.

My old man taught me that the most important qualities you can possess are integrity and congruence of words and actions. The older I get, the more sense it makes. When you're honest, you really take the time to think about your actions and the decisions you make because you're going to answer for them truthfully later. The number of women I've met who seem to have zero concept of integrity sucks, man.

This was my ex exactly. Would lie about anything. One classic lie was.... Would drink the beer in the fridge. I didn't mind her drinking it and asked her to just put more in there so I had cold beer. She said it wasn't her time and time again. Would say why do you always think it's me have you asked the kids if they drank it. The kids were under 12. SMH.

Lying by omission is a HUGE red flag.
Lying by omission = a lie with a more descriptive name.
I do agree with all the replies so far. I'm asking because if you ever say that to a woman she will reply that "I never lied, I just forgot to tell you" which is total BS...but still...
@@tcpfuzz9215 It is the withholding of specific pieces of information in order to control your perception and the narrative of the relationship. And unfortunately, the people who tend to do this do not feel as if they're lying until it comes out of their mouth.
The law is very clear and provides good guidance for relationships.. Look up rule 10b5. Omissions of material facts are illegal.

I feel like you must be a mind-reader coach! I've been dealing with incidents like this recently. And with your video about the woman earning a higher income, I'd say pretty much every woman who I've been on dates with over the last few months - or has met my level of attraction - have fallen into one, or both, of these categories. Your timing is spot-on and much appreciated!

Hi Coach! Can you please talk about people that fails job interviews and to not give up? I’m in a tough spot right now. I’ve had several interviews but can’t land the job I want. I graduated in CS last year and since then I had a paid internship as software engineer extended to 7 months and a contract part time job that ended 3 months ago but since then I work in customer service because I haven’t found a job as engineer. Any advise please

With this guys monitoring of her actions it's obvious she's not comfortable sharing things with him and probably thinks he's judgemental. She's an adult and can consume what she wants but I imagine she feels he's going to freak out if she's honest with him.

BS! If you respect yourself and your partner you don't lie about stuff like this. You take personal responsibility and own the things you do and the decisions you make. If she wants to take edibles and that's a big deal to her, then she should be an adult and tell him that. If he's not cool with it then they shouldn't be together. End of story! Lying to your partner helps nobody and is just an attempt to push reality away for that much longer. Never works long term because the consequences catch up with you in the end or you lead a hollow life.
