Nicely done, did you happen to check the old strainer for any cracks or a broken gasket? That happened to us one time and we thought it was the pump but was actually the strainer letting air into the system.

I did check this and replaced it last year when I was having similar problems and it wasn’t it. The new pump has been perfect and solved all of the issues!
