034Motorsport Snub mount replacement for Audi/VW 1.8T engines

- Hey all!
This video shows you the removal and install of a snub mount for VAG (VW/Audi) 1,8T engines. This method does not require any other removal than the splash/mud guard. The snub mount is from 034Motorsport.
I am showing you on a Audi A4 B6 from 2003 with a 1.8T engine (code BFB).
Please note: I am not a mechanic. If you dont know what you are doing, do not attempt this.

sall, the volkswagen Passat b5.5 sedan 1.8 turbo petrol has the same grip with three screws that I loosened and you have the same one, do I have to change it on my car too
you should of jacked engine up a few cms before u tightened the snub mount to cut down vibrations.
Hi, How did you get the snub mount onto its bracket...did you use a vice? I can't get my one on? thanks...
I cant really remeber but maybe try some kind of lubricate and elbow grease!

What were the symptoms you experienced? Was it making some kind of metallic clicking noise?
I felt that the motor was "kicking back" when letting of the accelerator. I did not notice any sounds from it, more the feeling of the motor moving around. Was reduced when Mounting this.

my 2002 audi a4 shakes really violently when i accelerate above 70 kph. my snubber is totally shot. will a bad snubber cause the car to shake?
Bad axle...CV joint..
thats what i figured. i ordered both front ones the other day. ill post if that fixes it.

not snub mount for sure. I don't think either your axles, hopefully it is now that u ordered them. I had bad axles both sides from passat like the same platform and didn't shake only makes noise when turning wide. post up what's your problem when u fix it
Really? What do you do for a living? Cause i work on cars and have 6 Vdubs, this year alone i have replaced 5 axles ..and the customer complaint was "It shakes or wobbles when i hit the gas" my 02 wagon shook at 60 like a tire out of balance till you eased off the gas then it smoothed out step on the gas and would start shaking again.. My 04 W8 AWD shook so bad from the light felt like the lug nuts were loose.. nope Right inner CV was so bad "No noise " it came apart in 2 pieces.
That was like 40ft/be at least lol
