The girl who waited…and waited… and waited so long she forget the fairy tale. Luckily she had a Doctor, *our* Doctor, to remind her of the fantasies, and god were they such wonderful fantasies… They were the best… Until they were over… and then… like all good things, it ended… Goodbye Amelia Pond, you patient wonder of the world… May your next happy ever after never end…
Fairytales usually end in happily ever after... but this one did not. 💔 I anticipated it was coming after the Doctor said to Rory's dad that some of his companions had died, but it was still a hell of a gut punch.
How did this not end happily? Sure the doctor couldn't ever see them again but atleast Amy and Rory got to live their lives together until the end. Amy chose to be with her husband. ❤️
@@setharnould4934 It wasn't their normal life they'd spent all that time building for themselves in the new house the Doctor had bought them and near Rory's Dad!
@@setharnould4934 Yeah it just seems a bit stupid they spent the whole series building up to them trying to give up travelling with him then kill them off (technically) rather than them say "Ok, don't come back"
They did not die. She went back to be with Rory and live their lives as they should have done had they not gone off with the Doctor. They all were a brilliant group of actors that remain some of my favorite Dr Who (Eleven) moments.
That was already a fragile 'time weakness' or whatever you want to call it yet when Amy met Amelia the entire Universe had ended so nothing worse could have happened!
Better than that he can come at the same time but he leaves his Tardis in another city (in New Jersey: Philadelphia or in Washington DC) then takes the train or a taxi to pick them up in New York but Steven Moffat wanted an unhappy ending 😔
@@philosotree5876 No doubt he left them but you are sure that Amy and Rory enjoyed themselves in the 30s far from their time We can just say that the Doctor betrayed Rory's father because he had promised to bring them back safely after the invasion of the cubes 😞
Fish fingers are custard springs to mind as soon as amelia appears
Good food
They had a wonderful father daughter relationship, and ended up being the mother and son-laws.
The girl who waited…
"Raggedy man, goodnight!" - 😭
She has done well for herself ❤❤❤❤
I just wish, since we brought back Donna, that the Doctor could visit the Ponds one last time.

I wonder what it would of been like if the doctor traveled with Amy pond when she was a child
Possibly died tbh

Their ending was so sudden, just out of the blue, the day was saved and the Doctor had won and then… nope… no you don’t.
Disney fairytales have happy endings the original fairytale they were based off of usually don’t
@@LCBK That's why I said usually. I know not all of them do.

@@annaduenwald9649 Tell me how you feel after the death of some of your closest friends. You expect the Doctor wouldn't be upset?
Raggerdy man, goodbye
My favorite duo... well treo with rory
Fish fingers and custard
I hate how they ended it, they spent the whole series setting up the departure and having their 'normal life' only to end with neither!
Technical they were able to live a long happy life just in the wrong time period

@@sarahglover3286yeah I know that. One of reasons it was a sad goodbye. It's also nice to know that Rory and Amy still got to be together

True BFFs
Your edits are really good. Can you make one of 13?
Oh... and a fairy tale it was 😢
Must be one hell of a scary crack in your wall.
This video feela the one I requested long ago 👍😁🥳
Rose ! Don't touch the baby! She touched her baby self and all hell broke loose. Pond put her arm around her younger self. No problem.

@sarahglover3286 just another paradox brought to you by Stephen Moffatt.
Coconut sticks dipped in custard may taste better than fish fingers.
I wonder how many people get that... 🤔
I mean, he can't go back to NY in the 30's, but he could jump ahead to the 40's or 50's.

I don't think it was proximity based, and I also think he left them alone on purpose as to not cause them anymore harm.@@le_fan1
