You would have been better off getting two smaller coolers that also freeze. My iceco 31ltr has the same internal parts as that the German compressor etc and is a third the cost. It can be used as a fridge or a freezer. So if I get another I'm still saving a lot of money at $400 each. All the duel zone coolers I've looked at have too little floor space because the freezer side. You'll need to constantly dig through to get the stuff you want out because it's deep. I'm a trucker and I put frozen items in my fridge. They stay frozen for a good while long enough for me to be out 5-6 days which is my average work week.
I have the cfx95 and mine says made in china , also I am on my second one, first would not work at all, control panel would not light up when pressing the on/off button. they sent me a new one and that one turns on with 110v, not with 12v... multi metered the 12v power supply cord and there is 13.9v . I am not so happy about this, as I wanted to use 12v and not run my inverter 24/7. The inverter is only 90% efficient , where if you run straight off your 12v fuse panel it is more efficient. you just cut off the cigarette plug and directly wire back to your fuse panel.

Your cigarette plug probably doesn't have enough power.
Dc in my truck is rated at 12v 10A, but label on cfx3 95dz says it needs 12v 10.4A So is it gonna work ?
