Hay James, just wanted to say THANK YOU, for that video. I have a gemini 2 studio and this helped a lot. Tell Paul I said Thanks also.
Brilliant !! This cleared up a lot of questions that I had about what The Gemini 2 can really do.
There is still one question that I have concerning The USB Functions of Playback and Recording with regard to “Backwards Compatibility” with Older MAC Operating Systems. Will it work with an older Mac Pro running Snow Leopard MAC OS ??
For USB Audio you'll need an OSX veversion with USB Audio CLASS 2 support. From what I can find it looks like Snow Leopard had at least some CLASS 2 features supported so it should work for basic audio streaming. You may not have all the features of later versions developer.apple.com/library/archive/technotes/tn2274/_index.html
Does anyone get a hum or hissing sound?
With Bluetooth yes, I'm also getting loud hum. And bluetooth is not always working for me (with IOS device).
