Launched in 1952 for pilots, the Breitling Navitimer is one of the most iconic watches ever made. Despite its large size and tendency to get bumped, it remains a favorite, especially in the 46mm version.
Breitling's latest updates to the Navitimer are impressive. They removed the chronograph but kept a balanced dial, and the centralized 24-hour scale on the GMT version gives it a streamlined look. The ice blue dial is stunning in person, especially in good lighting.

Hey Chris, great review but I thought I would point out that the movement is an ETA movement. If this watch had the B01 movement I would be running to the AD to pick one up at this price.
Great point & you’re right. Maybe that is why Breitling decided drop the price points for this line.

How do I add power reserve to this watch after I haven’t worn it for some time?
You can just wind it up! Unscrew the crown. Adjust the time and date, and wind up the watch. Boom you’re good after that
If I pull the crown halfway out I can adjust the GMT hand by turning one way and the date the other way. Pulling the crown fully out adjusts the minute/hour hands backwards or forwards. I can’t workout how to wind to add power reserve
To put the watch in it’s wind setting, push the crown closed, without tightening it. The crown will be closest to the case, without you tightening it down. That is the wind setting. Make sense?
It's not powered by the B01..thats why its much cheaper i think

Stupid things I am hearing in my 25 years of collecting, like swimming with a 30m water resistance, going to gym with that leather starp, it has a B01 movement. Are you out of your mind?
We advise against swimming as mentioned in the video.
However does work in the gym.
