Not a good idea to use drylock. Its not mildew resistant and is very susceptible to building mold. Polyurethane is the way to go. Coming from a seasoned reptile owner/creative owner who makes all my own hides and enclsures.
it's beyond me how you could ever think polyutherane or some other gap filler is somehow safe for animals like what the hecky Kristen, everything about it just screams 'why would you use this on animals' - I can't believe someone with your experience wouldn't see this
