So is this a good way to revise look through a cgp text book / watching yt videos to try and get a rough idea of the subject. Then incorporating active recall and spaced repetition using the techniques you suggested: blurting, anki, mind maps etc. Then use lots of practice questions and past papers. Is this a good way to revise if not what shall I do. Also good vid bro.
try quizlet that’s a lot more simple, personally I did love paper flashcards too as they are just easier to remember from as I sort of remember where the words are on the flashcard but then when you have many you start to misplace them, you never know if you lost one and have to go through the whole lot to find a specific one when you can just go ctrl f on a computer
omgggg I agree so much with the paper flash cards part! I literally feel terrible having to discard hundreds of them 😅 so yeah I switched to quizlet as well Effective and useful tips as always ishaan 👍👍
Ishaan how did you manage to get a marketing job at this age even though you dint have any previous marketing experience ? what made them want to hire you ?
Did you do any extra-curricular activities in Year 11 I’m really trying to convince my mum to continue with dance but she thinks I’m going to be revising 24/7 and I really need that break :/
When you say avoid writing notes what do you mean? Am I like supposed to like learn what I am learning and then just like answer questions over it? A reply would be very helpful
Hey - so by writing notes, you make pages and pages, and sometimes you never get time to come and look at them properly. Instead create flashcards on Anki and Quizlet and add onto them every day - containing info you learnt that day. This means that you can review everything, and implement active recall :)
