You would have to place the fence against the saw blade, which you cannot do as the saw casing would interfere. You could take the blade out of the saw and calibrate, but there would be zero clearance. Using a 2mm spacer block would cause a problem with a 2.2mm saw blade. I think that using the other scale would require using a known calibrating block and adding that value to the fence scale reading. It depends on how narrow a strip that you want to cut on your track saw. Using the method that Ralph is demonstrating, you should be able to cut a 25mm strip.
