Hey Rory -- so happy to see you back with Queen again. You are so right, Freddie was the music embodied. He was channelling the energy and the spirit of every song he ever sang. It's so crazy, you can't take your eyes off him, yet we can see that the rest of the band is right up there. Nobody is hanging back. I've never seen this concert in full, but the parts I have seen are just fire. Sure, it's a smaller venue so that amplifies the energy, but there's no getting around the fact that Queen has always been on a whole other level.
What a fabulous concert. He was soooo into it.

Thanks Rory, awesome reaction to ending of this great concert! You probably did not notice but Freddie actually broke all of the microphones in Sheer Heart Attack, so the song was ended slightly quickly. Freddie first went out on the back of Darth Vader, but George Lucas but complained about it, so it was changed to Superman. I am not sure Freddie had any philosophical ideas behind it, he likely just thought it would be amusing. This was certainly a great crowd.
Hi Rory ✌🏼 Loved it when you said ‘ he’s like the music in human form’ I have always felt that way about Freddie ( prob most Queen fans agree) At the end of a very exhausting concert Freddie ( and Roger if you look closely ) are killing it with their voices on We Are The Champions!!! How they had anything left is amazing in itself… but they had so much MORE than that !! TY Hug Nala 😂🥰
btw Did you notice Roger throwing his drums at the end 😂 wonder if he did it bc Freddie had him going BEYOND the call of duty at the very end LOL

That was genius. Freddie is forward thinking. I watched these auctions and I actually saw even more of Freddie when I saw every little thing he owned meant something and he was very much a collector of fine things. Shows how he had a level of sophistication and admiration of beautiful things. Also he always had a hand out to a friend in need. Lovely soul😊
Dear John in fact plays the Double Bass, and is also extremely adept on the Acoustic Guitar. They are all clever clever boys.❤ Also, I do believe that 'Crazy Little Thing' is one of the few tracks where Brian employs his black Telecaster.

Kudos to any man that can move like that in pants like those (how hot they must have been!). This is the beginning of the wild times in NY...you can see that energy just oozing oyt of him. This is may be the second time I've seen Roger go shirtless -- yet John keeps the tie, Brian doesn't break a sweat. Straight shot on defining what it is about Freddie - a sort of conduit for the music.
My father is a musician (I play piano too) and always said that Rock n Rollers reverted to this song, to rest his voice.😊

He said the way Freddie composed made him play in a way he wouldn't normally play
According. to Freddie’s mom, he started out his music by playing guitar…he wrote many of his songs on guitar first..Before applying to piano…love & miss Freddie❤❤❤…and also John❤❤❤
Having seen Queen live several times, I can attest that Freddie leaves absolutely nothing in reserve. From the opening track to the second and third encore, the entire band deliver 1000%, with Freddie's magical fairy dust sealing the deal. Another point of note is that during the earlier gigs, the audience (egged on by Freddie) would chant we will F*@#K you during 'We Will Rock You'...only those who attended their concerts would know this, as in these live recordings it's a little difficult to distinguish between the audience chants over Freddie's.
