    I really appreciate your review. I got one for Valentine's Day from the wife. We took it to the range and put 200 rounds through it. I have to agree with you. It feels better than a p320, enjoy it more than any Glock I've ever shot. I own a couple of FN pistols and they may accumulate a bit of dust. Well done, Springfield. I am looking forward to seeing after Market grips and what not.

    Good to see you back on video buddy, sorry to hear you ain’t been feeling well. I know the feeling. Summer allergies in Texas are kicking my butt. This gun seems to be getting good reviews. I just bought a Glock 43x for summer carry so my P365 X macro don’t rust. I haven’t shot this gun but i have heard it’s a steal at $600. One thing i will say about you that i enjoy, you shoot really well with irons and don’t shoot much red dot on video. I am in the process of taking my Green Dot off my Sig and just sticking to Irons. I don’t shoot dot that well and ain’t the best at zeroing them in to be honest. Sure hope you get to feeling better sir, i also hope to get my hands on one of these and give it a try. Seems like they made a winner with it.

      I really appreciate that man. It’s definitely a great full size handgun. I had to do the same with my sig because of rust. I’m carrying my hellcat pro for the last few weeks. When holsters become more available I may carry this to be honest. Yah I’m not much of a dot fan myself. I think it’s something for new shooters to use and will probably taper off in a few years just like when all the hype was a laser. Now nobody has lasers on their gun.

      @@livennick9 i had a $300 dollar gift card to academy sports here in Texas, so i threw in the extra $200 for a Glock 43X to carry and i highly doubt even at full price i would regret it. Again not to beat a dead horse, but while some UA-camrs argue Glock isn’t the best at anything. When i ask them what is a gun suppose to do? Look cool and work sometimes or go bang when you pull the trigger? So that said Glocks vanilla design don’t hurt my feelings. You make a great point about lasers, i havent seen one of those in 15 years that i can recall. Dots are great for those that use them well or find the benefit to them. But for me personally the few benefits turn into fighting all the cons, if that makes sense. So i just stick to high end irons. Trijicon mainly. Anyone that says you need a dot to shoot well from distance hasn’t been watching your videos. You said it yourself, you aren’t even a huge fan of the U shape irons and yet still with a new gun to learn and those sights you were burying shots from distance. Speaks to how well you shoot and maybe even a little at how well this gun is made. Thanks for the content and don’t forget there are bass out there wanting to be caught haha 🎣

      @@jasonallen3189 thanks bud. Yah I need to edit my fishing video with the new tfo ultralights from this weekend and get it up. They are awesome. Ive always said if a person wants a glock to carry and wants it thin the 43x is the only way to go. They are awesome pistols. I like that there is no guessing with dots at distance don’t get me wrong but I don’t want one on a carry gun. Maybe a range toy but toggling back and forth between dot and irons isn’t fun for me. The main think I don’t like about dots is
      1- they fog. Yes there is anti fog stuff out there you can coat it with once a week but I don’t want to.
      2- high temps in a vehicle cause the battery to fail. Not the optic but the battery. What good is a battery powered optic without a battery.
      3- it’s electric and everything electric fails at some point.
      4- I’m faster with irons and when it boils down to it that’s all that matters is mass hits fast and accurate if need be.

I said sort of but not lucky in the sense i could get the 17th round in a Sig magazine without dislocating my thumb. She just kind of looked at me confused and said good luck. I am nearing 800 rounds with the original sig mags and still can not get in what they advertise.

    If it proves to be reliable, I do think it would be the best sub-$600 gun. I will say that these days you can get a TON of good 15-17rd guns for $260-$360 (CZP10F, APX1A1, IWI Masada, Arex Delta 2, SAR9, etc.). This just seems like so much more gun for the money compared to a G17, but the G17 does have the reputation it earned over the last 30 years with police and militaries. Looks good though. I'd probably spring for one if I weren't going down a 5.7 rabbit hole at the moment. :)

    • @livennick9
      @livennick9  Рік тому +1

      I went down that hole years ago myself. Good round for sure. Especially back then before they made it to where you could only get blue tips from FN. I had the p90 and original black 5.7. They were a blast.

      @@livennick9 I've got a bunch of 23 and 30rd mags for my Ruger LC 5.7 Charger, which I plan to SBR...a friend has the Carbine, and I fell in love. The PSA mags work in it, and PSA has sales on their ROCK Pistol where you get a threaded barrel, optic cut and optic sights, and 10 mags for like $600.
      But I think S&W MP 57 pistol is just cool, with the gas system and it being so thin and flat-shooting. I'm also interested in their new MP22 magnum, though I hear the grip is a hair wider....but 31rds of 22 mag sounds would be a swarm of hornets coming in fast in a tight group.

    Hey bro, glad you reviewed this one. Was wondering what your opinion on it would be. The medium frame module bit me. Gave me serious slide bite. They now have the large grip module and the beaver tail is supposed to be a lil longer, do you think the large frame would take away the chance of slide bite? Thanks man

    • @livennick9

      Man it probably would but I can’t say for certain because everyone is different. I do know when I fire a glock 21 or 20 next to a 17 it feels like my hand sets a little lower on the 21 and 20 so my GUESS would be it should fix it. Hope this helps.
