Just remember to order a holster that is for 4.25” because regardless of what the box says the barrel is 4.22” and the box say 3.8” I think but that’s because the rifles part of the barrel stops at the beginning of the port and is smooth bore after that. • @livennick9
      @livennick9 8 днів тому

      @@saintmichael753 thanks bud. I haven’t tried the ramjet. Looks cool but I like stuff that makes the pistol easier to take apart. As far as fastest flattest shooting I would say this smith comes in first, then macro, then shield plus, then g19. I love the g19 but the less slide mass of the shield even though a bit snappier is flatter shooting. Now I haven’t shot the new comped version of the shield plus that is in the same series as this smith in the video but my guess is this will possibly still beat it by a bit but May throw the macro back a notch.

    Man, that Carry Comp is awesome. I need one. After your video a few weeks ago on the original irons-only 2.0 Compact I stumbled across a new old stock version of the same gun with the plastic carry case and three mags ridiculously cheap, so I bought it. Of my eight M&P's, that original Compact came with the best trigger pull of all of them. Super light and crisp, even with that old school stirrup trigger. I replaced the striker block with an Apex block and lightly polished the trigger bar where it meets the striker, and it's perfect now. I never realized how easily those original M&P sights lined up on the draw. No matter how I present the gun, those sights align perfectly as I gets to full extension. All I have is the new optic height sights on my other 2.0's, and they all have optics on them now, but I'll be damned if that irons-only Compact is quickly becoming my favorite of them all, and now Smith shows up with these new carry comps. S&W is getting all my money this year, lol. Got my Bodyguard 2.0 in today as well. Just had two boxes of Blaser Brass .380 until my shipment comes in, so I only fired 100 rounds today. That is one sweet little gun. Ran flawlessly through the first 100 rounds. Same height and length as my 642 with the 12 round mag in it. This one is gonna get carried a lot from here on out.

    Definitely an issue with slide speed. You can see your ejection is weak and occasionally ejects almost vertically. PMC is also notoriously weak ammo across its entire lineup. The 17L is a lot of slide mass for a 9mm round. It’s why it has so many slide cutouts and the new plastic front piece. Less mass attempting to make it run all sorts of ammo reliably. I think adding an optic will just contribute to the issue. I wonder if this gun is going to be similar to when they came out with the 9mm glocks and tried to use the same RSA as the .40, I think that was either Gen 4 or 5 before they figured out 9mm needed its own spring setup. Maybe Glock will have to play with the spring weight a bit more.

      @@donniecamp7328 thank ya. That was 85 meters. I used to shoot 100 meters with the pistol out there but now I just shoot 85 unless it’s after hours and they are closed. The road in to the vip area is to the left of where I am shooting at that distance. The last couple times I would be back at 100 during open hours I had a couple cars come flying in while I was shooting and luckily was able to stop fast. The gate is at the 100 meter mark. They are supposed to stop and check first but nobody ever does. So for safety I just stick with 85 meters.

    Short stroke for sure. Recoil spring is too heavy. Springs are hard to get right and when millions of guns are built on an assembly line there will be a few bad springs that lead to this issue. I don't buy whole guns new but when I build my slides I get a variety of spring weights to try because cuts in the slide and optics can change what you need. Seems like an easy fix to get it cycling. Now the inaccuracy is probably because of the barrel and that sucks too because glock should be getting that right. You definitely should send it back for that. You aren't holding it improperly or anything those comments are wrong. You aren't limp wristing and so it's definitely the recoil spring. I have experience building several Glock clone slides and it's the issue 95% of the time. The PSA dagger recoil springs are notorious for this but I fixed all my builds with proper ISMI springs.
