Just started playing this game again (I forgot how great and immersive the sound effects were!) I never got round to completing any of the great works the first time around, so this was incredibly helpful! Thankyou 😊
I’ve been having trouble getting the product shipped over to the great works so that’s why I’m here I’ll try “exporting” it to see if that works , so far I can’t tell
Make sure you have delivery trucks for the trade depot. Exporting will sell your resources instead of sending to great work You should see arrows indicating your resource going to Great Work
Yes. You can build multiple times. In a 16 city region, I'll do 4 Solar Farms. A 16 city region with 4 great works each great work benefits just the 4 associated cities. Check the region you want to use to see how many great work sites and how many connected cities For example, there is a region with 7 cities and 1 great work sites. The great work would benefit all 7 cities
when you say cities connected to the great work at 3:20 what do you mean? like cities that have road connection to the great work? and what about the city that doesnt has a road connection to the great work and lets say i build a solar farm then taht city wont get any energy coz its not connected?
Depending on the size of the region not all cities are connected to a particular great work. Go to my Updated Beginners Guide. Look for my video that discusses Regions and the relationships between cities.
@@leonarddavis8732 thanks a lot i figured it out, I do have few more questions about international airport and archology. Archology gives workers shoppers and students. does this boost population to connected cities? do workers and students stay permanently in my connected cities, i assume workers fill up understaffed buildings but what do the students do? do they come from other cities or outside of region. and what about shoppers is it like if i have too many shops and not enough population (shoppers) do they just show up, buy stuff and leave or stay permanently adding to the population. International airport gives tourists and freight. Correct me if im wrong does this means if if dont have enough industry producing enough freight coz i have too many shops i get freight from the airport? also what do tourists do? do they stay permanently adding to my population or?
Arcology residents live in the Arcology. No boost to your cities population. They will leave Arcology and shop, work and play in your cities that are connected to particular Arcology. Workers and students can and will leave a city to work and study in another city but they won't move there. International airport can be a place to ship freight out but not bring extra in. International airport is best for bringing in additional tourists.
If you have too many jobs or shops the simulation will not send workers and shoppers from outside the region. Shops and industry are expecting workers and shoppers from within the city. Shops and factories will just shut down.
space centre is best if u want medium and high wealth tourists ,a city will make 500k an hour profit with lot of tourism buildings and they will fill them up
I like the Arcology combined with a gambling city that has a lot of tourist shops. It will give you workers for the shops and casino's and aditional shoppers. But you need good roads for that.
Yes. Especially if the arcology is close to the city But first, make sure you have a good tech level. Electronics works best in a city with community college or university.
I would like to add a simple comment. Yes, people keeps going to play Sim City. Even after 10 years -:)
Yes. Still just as much fun as 10 years ago.

You are so welcome. I'm glad you started playing again. Have fun with your cities and great works.
Lots of your vids to get through!! 🤓 (I saw you also played Eastshade, loved that game! Really hope the studio come out with a follow up)
I love Eastshade. I need to do more episodes. A sequel would be wonderful.

Can i build the same great work multiple Times in the same map? And if i have a great work does ti affect all map or only the 4 city nearby?

Great questions. I think I am going to work on a video regarding this
So is it better if I do not bother with great works? Besides the solar farm.
In my opinion, yes.
Thanks @@leonarddavis8732

@@leonarddavis8732 solar farm was useful before the futures DLC , but the solar crowns are WAY better :)
Is this on the pc or mobile phones too?
PC. Mobile version is a completely different game.
@@leonarddavis8732 hi, can you tell me the mobile version name? I looked in Google play and didn't see it. Thanks
I'm surprised people still play this considering cities: skylines is incomparably better
I like to play them both for different reasons
Isnt city skylines only singleplayer tho?
i find skylines boring and ugly to look at , very grey and the buildings are generic
