Hi Sagar, I got an offer for a TDP Consultant role in the US. I had a lot of similar experiences with the hiring process, minus the phone call interview. I'm told I'll still be programming for my position, but I wanted to ask you what differences you might know of. (If you've even heard of my role) Thanks a bunch, and happy working!
Thank you for the video, I have my assesment test on Tuesday for 3.5 hours for the same role, are the test patterns changed as far as you know or the same which you mentioned in this video?
Thank you for this interesting useful video. I would like to get you advice. I'm at my second year of IT studies. I have applied for Accenture for Bilingual Technical Customer Support position, but honestly I'm more interested in IT and programming. Do you think, if I could get into Accenture as a Technical Customer Support, will it help me to get into actual IT and programming through Accenture? I have applied for many internships in programming and entry position, but couldn't get any chance. I'm still studying, but also I'm worried that my age 31 years old may affect getting entry level or junior position in programming or IT in general.
Age won't affect you as long as you've a passion for tech I know 30+ year old people who joined Accenture as a graduate software engineer. So definitely worth a look at that route
Congratulations! You mentioned you had an areospace degree, did you not find it difficult to compete with software engineering graduates that may have more relvant expirence? I ask this as an Electrical engineer graduate who is finding that many of my jobs overlap with software engineering and so I was wondering if its worth applying to those as well.
Thanks 😊. Honestly a lot of the graduates they hired weren’t software engineers there are a range of engineering disciplines from EEE, biomed engineering, aerospace, automotive and more. I’d say as long as you’re knowledgeable and passionate about technology on a broad scale you’d be someone ACN is willing to coach
I went through the same process and am actually starting in under a week at the office in Scotland. How long have you been working in London? Any insights so far on the training? TIA
That's awesome, congrats, welcome to the Accenture! I started in September 2021, I have been training ever since then until now. So have been through an extensive 10 week classroom style course for full-stack engineering, after that I independently studied for and passed my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. In the upcoming week I will be joining a real project so will be getting involved in real stuff very soon!
@@janbock3958 all the SE who had the same start date as me did the full stack course, however the projects they went on to do varied. There are no exams after the training. The only exam I did was an official one to get the AWS certified cloud practitioner certification.
What specifics would you want to know (I may not be able to elaborate on some things because I can only say so much about the assessment centre without being told off lol)
The former for sure, as you can relatively easily learn how to code in your own time and gain practical skills at home, but you can't do the other unless you are super rich and can buy a ton of equipment to practice with
Why you chose to be software engineer After graduating from aerospace engineering Was it difficult to find job as aerospace engineer Are their aerospace engineering jobs in London or not And is software engineer salary more than aerospace engineer in London
Some sort of questions I was asked were like what's the difference between two programming languages you've used to explain what software development life cycle is.
Gain an understanding of a couple of programming languages, be aware of the differences of them and the use cases for each. Also, understand the software development life cycle and the variations within that such as agile or waterfall
Congrats on the offer well deserved!
Thank you!
This is lovely. I have my assessment centre tomorrow this was extremely helpful and informative!
Hope it went well!
Congratulations to you. I also have my Assessment Center coming in few days time. I hope to join you soon at Accenture
Awesome! Wishing you all the best for it!
Congratulations 🌼
Thank you so much 😀

@@SA64R amazing! Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. Did any other SE associates end up on different tracks or did you all do full stack?
@@SA64R also, did you have any exams after your training? Are they consequential?

Is it easier to have an aerospace degree and move to the tech or a computer science degree and move to the aerospace industry?

How long did you have to wait for the technical phone interview after you passed the virtual assessment centre?

when you say understanding of programming/technology for the technical interview, how detailed are these questions?
