I hope to study Mechanical Engineering at Uni. I'm going to my final yr in a levels: maths, physics, further maths. This video has assured me that a career in software engineering is viable for me and I will succeed in software engineering.

If you are passionate about the field you are in, the work won't seem as bad. This is great advice not only for software engineers, but any field. Constant learning and hard work is a given!

Bro I can’t lie I kinda got shafted by Sheffield Uni. Just because I got a B in physics they changed my course from Mechanical Engineering to Materials Science. I even got an A* in maths and A* in further maths so idk why they did this

I am sorry this happened, I genuinely would be like wtf if that happened to me

@@SA64R Yh ik right. I’m going to try and change the course back to Mechanical Engineering and if they don’t let me imma start throwing hands lol. Nah but fr tho, is Materials Science and Engineering a very ‘maths - heavy’ course like other engineering courses, such as mechanical or electrical? Because if it’s more content based I’m gonna kms

    Hi Sagar,
I’m off to study aerospace engineering this September. For the last couple months I’ve come to understand that the entry graduate post for aerospace is limited and therefore extremely competitive. Since you have studied and graduated in aerospace dyu think I should do 2 years, or any years, and transition to mechanical because the industry is larger and varied and also land a more successful job with higher financial freedom. Asking for a genuine friend because I don’t have anyone that may have an outlook you have on this. 👍🏾😊

I'd say the role of aerospace engineer would be more lucrative if you manage to break into it rather than mechanical but I do see where you're coming from it's a big "IF" I break into it. I would say stick with aerospace as you can get mech eng roles with an aero degree so there's no loss to you that way.

Bro, I'm thinking to drop A Level Computer Science. My teacher is so rubbish, doesnt teach anything. My college hired someone from the road. What do recommend?

Drop it, no point wasting time if your teacher doesn't teach. You may as well learn yourself and have a more flexible time table.

Software engineer salary is basically brain power value , that is how much you can learn , how fast you can learn , how much you can use and how much you can create and innovate .
And this is not ok , we software engineer should put a stop to this and stop graduates suffering .

You can study there, I don't know on how the admissions works for anyone wanting to study there so you're going to have to research that yourself i'm afraid.

If you are not a US citizen it would be hard to become employed in the aerospace industry in the US
