WANTED: Hero of Kvatch
REWARD: 100,000,000 Gold
REASON: Touching things
Guards: Keep telekinesis active at all times to sense him drinking from a cup in an inn on the other side of the continent
"Here's your food sir, please let us know if you need anything else."
[picks up fork]
THIEF
YOU WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS
REASON: being a treacherous little filcher
There's a strange comfiness to Oblivion, especially in towns. Maybe it's Jeremy Soule's music, maybe it's the sort of crusty PS360 aesthetic, maybe it's the janky radiant AI with their repetitive conversations, but it's just cozy.
Agreed!
Why not all of it together?
Also nice pic.
Morrowind is too foreign and strange, Skyrim is too post-apocalyptic and rugged. TES4's Cyrodiil is just where life is good for everyone.
Everyone is kinda chill despite the literal portals to hell opening up outside every major city.
@@Supperdude9 Do you think what happened in Kvatch could happen here too?
“You won’t get away with this!”
Proceeds to then get away with this.
Morgan Freeman: "He did indeed get away with it."
You heard him, he didn't see a thing!
“Help thief! Put that back!”
“Take whatever you want it’s non of my business”
Too much emotions in too little time...
The best part in Aelwin's case is that he had much more money on him than those savings he was bragging about.
I would hope so, it would be so sad if he wouldn't...
Preeetty sure that's a glitch. But I could be wrong
The dialogue interruptions get me good. 🤣
"Put tha-"
"Stop, th-"
"Thief, y-"
"Man down, ma-"
"You, tre-"
"May Talos g-"
"Help! Help, I-"
Also, I don't think I've ever seen the guards running in fear before now.
I made them fear me so much they couldn't talk properly...
6:05
"May talos gu-" ( X __ X )
This is so chaotic, I think I broke a rib from laughing so hard 🤣
The guards voices duplicating over eachother
ASAUASAULT!!
Radiant AI best AI, undefeated even to this day. Contenders are many, including Bethesda's newer works (even CDPR joined in to get the first spot) but none are as radiant as Oblivion's.
It really is groundbreaking, but it's still fun to make fun of it at times!
What other games have the AI broken just right like Oblivion? Seriously more interested in these than the AAA now ha!
That brokeness makes this game so fun
Cyberpunks npcs have no ai. They're essentially just walking scenery. Terrible game.
@@The_Mad_King_Aerys yeah that game was a major disappointment. its not even broken in an interesting way. just plain broken.
"Put that back, put that back, put that back STOP!!!"

The Ultimate Heist
The guard's horse flying through the air had me in tears. 😂
Happy to hear!
The radiant ai combined with the potato faces makes Oblivion a timeless classic that is both incredibly fun to play and gives a strong sense of nostalgia. I started a Skyrim play through for a bit at one point. It was was fine, but it felt like it was missing something. The magic seemed lackluster and it took itself too seriously. I did only play it for a few hours, so we’ll see. One day I’ll return to finish my play through
Good luck! I agree, Oblivion's randomness made so much fun memories!
Skyrim has its very own unique charm too. Both feel totally different.
Just came back to my Skyrim character after finishing the main quest in Oblivion (thankfully loads still to do, including Shivering Isles). I'm a latecomer to both, having picked up my Xbox 360 during lockdown. While Skyrim is legitimately amazing - the water and fire effects, smoke, weather etc. so much more elaborate than Oblivion's one wonders how the hell they squeezed it onto that console generation - I do feel it loses something for the greater polish. The loss of spell-making is especially sad, as it makes magic into just a standard grind rather than a weird and wonderful exercise in lateral thinking (and is also a severe departure from Elder Scrolls tradition). Also, melee combat just felt way more crisp and responsive, for reasons I can't pin down (but not for nothing does my Skyrim character keep reverting to stealth archery...).
I had spent a lot of time talking to every NPC in the Imperial City, everyone liked me and had a disposition 70+ to me. The guards caught me stealing something, they tried to arrest me. I resisted and of course all the guards attacked me. But everyone else attacked the guards. It was quite a intense fight.
The civilians usually go against the guards when they have an average or above disposition to you, creates lots of chaos and funny moments!
@@ThatsCoolDude I didn't know that or rather I didn't think that far. I just wanted to annoy the guards not create a blood bath. There where quite a lot of people around. But I also had guards just paying off my bounty instead.
By the gods! There's a PSYCHOPATH on the loose!
I still love the Ai of Oblivion, it's so good
Same here!
05:56 That is an especially flamboyant way to die. Helps to keep the NPC killing spree interesting. 08:19 Millisecond winning smile!
1) Orcs have the best and heartwarming smile!
2) It's super funny to give essential NPCs spells that last for 2 minutes... They just wake up and day over and over again...
I've heard they have good magic trainers at the mages guild 😃
When you were knocking over the books i just envisiaged a khajit going full housecat mode.
Gotta love when the guard sentences overlap between them.
This radiant AI should be used in all games forevermore! lol
It would make them 1000x better!
I keep playing this video while going to bed. The sound is too nostalgic, it helps me sleep better and dream of good ol’ days. Somebody help! Come quickly! We’ve got a burglar!
Happy you like it!
"you won't get away with it.
You just did.
She's getting away with it everybody"
The trickster
Collectively, oblivion only has 1000 IQ points. 100 being from the player and 900 being from Lord Dagon.
Well... Dagon isn't exactly smart himself; the Oblivion crisis was stopped by a skooma addict that just happened to be in a sewer with the emperor...
@@ThatsCoolDude I guess that's the only way to play the game lol.
This reminds me of the time I went into Target, picked up a cup, and everyone in the store started screaming and running in circles.
*picks up a bucket*
"NOW YOU REALLY WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS"
These are of course the same brainiacs who don't duck when you point a loaded bow at them in a room full of fresh corpses with arrows sticking out of them. God I love this game.
Why would they? It's not like the bow can kill them...
Oh wait
"HELP! MURD- huargh!"
I love how picking up a cup or a jug in a tavern gets you branded a thief. Like what do people do in taverns? Just sit around and engage in casual conversation?
Well, Oblivion NPCs kinda are the best for casual convos... so it would make sense...
when you pick up a cup in a bar and get arrested
Here's that ale you ordered, you *treacherous little filcher*
Does anyone else just love this music? Like LOVE this music. It’s so soothing and nostalgic. It can always put me to sleep like a baby. Is that weird? 🤔
It's my favorite soundtrack!
this game is a fucking masterpiece
Agreed!
I like the fact that Joffrey had a whole bowl of garlic on his desk
RIP, Storm Atronach. Gone too soon😢
I'm so glad we have the Imperial Watch to keep our cities safe. ☺️
They really do a good job :))
Just started playing this again. Still better than most games in 2022.

Skyrim mass paralysis : Charge for a day
Oblivion : A flick of hand
There is no soul gem in your inventory small enough to capture the pathetic soul.
Mudcrabs are more worthy than some NPCs in the game...
5:57 - moment when I started crying my eyes out LOL
I love how the women in this game don’t do anything if u steal in front of them. Very realistic for the time period
I don't know what's funnier, the entire Imperial Watch chasing you to the ends of the earth because you poked a metal cup, or the guards in Whiterun letting the Thane free despite him slaughtering half the population.
They should find a healthy balance between those two...
"Forgive me Thane, I didn't realize it was you."
I think the Skyrim guards who let you go because you're the Thane are just scared that they're next.
These are my favorite videos and memories, thanks for the great times.
Happy you like it!
That first one - must be a cat playing oblivion
At least in skyrim, You can pick things up and it wouldn't be considered stealing, Putting them in your inventory is considered stealing in skyrim, Which is honestly better overall.
2:26 "If I ignore them, they'll leave me alone"
What spell was that? Is that a fear spell mixed with a damage health spell?
"I'm so hungry..."
*immediately slays with bolt*
😂
Very relatable video. One time, I went into a bar, picked a glass up, and put it down. Every single person there accused me of thievery. Then the cops ran in ready to arrest me. I didn't want to pay their $5 fine, so they shot the shit out of me. Fun times.
Should have cast a Paralysis Spell.
This woman would go crazy with a cat knocking things over :)
*Moves a jug*
"HELP!"
Lol
2:30 that was so clean how you killed everyone so quickly
imagine if there was a npc that ran behind you and tried to get a sneak attack off because of you thinking they left they could even add the door opening and closing
What illusion spell are you using to drain the life of people?
"Find Martin and bring him back here >:I"
When a cat plays Oblivion.
If you're only moving stuff around and not taking it then of course the NPC's will be peeved about the mess...
It's not stealing if you move it!
*It's not stealing when they're dead.*
@@ThatsCoolDude Basically no witnesses when there's nobody to witness...
1:26 lmaoo you doin too much 🤣
Gotta hit them with that disrespect!
"picks up mug inside a tavern"

6:05 hahahahahha "May Talas guide - " WHACK! oozes back into chair with seizure.
2:25 "but that's none of my buisness."
2:42 “bye… WAAUUGGHH”
Just realized Oblivion is probably the only game where touching or moving items will make other NPC suspicious even calling guards which is make sense, meanwhile Fallout and Skyrim doesn't have that feature unless you straight up steals it in front of them.
Well met
Hello.
*coughs*
@@budakbaongsiah have you heard any news from the other provinces?
@@ThatsCoolDude
Nothing I'd like to talk about.
ARRGGGHHHH
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that yes while picking up items like that is considered theft even though you haven't pocketed it, but picking shit up with telekenesis isn't..
Also at 3:00 the body must be incredibly warm if he can feel it from that distance
I wonder if Bethesda will ever come up with a lore reason as to why it was considered a crime to just touch things at the end of the 3rd Era.
Would be funny, imo.
I am so glad the developers took this glitch out if Skyrim. You can pick up stuff and move them around and nothing is done to you. In a way, I feel like that makes these games the best. Cyridol is stricter than Skyrim with its laws... makes the game play really immersed and realistic. Cyridol is like a gated community, whereas Skyrim is like Detroit, Miami or other major city where the cops are more relaxed. Oh, Bethesda... I can't wait for your version of the Middle Eastern and Asian cities when TES 6 comes out. 😎👍 Anyways it is tiny little details like these that I love playing TES.
Speaking of playing.., I wonder if my HP computer could handle Oblivion. 😵🥺Or better yet when will Bethesda ever come out with a Special Ultimate Collectors' Edition pack case featuring all five games? I would love to play Morrowind and Oblivion on the Switch. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Anyways thank you for your videos That'sCoolDude. They help me play the game indirectly through you. Bless you. Ase!
Happy you like it! If the PC isn't that old, it should handle Oblivion! Although the game itself is unstable and crashes at times...
2:41 "Arghhh!" 🤣
why were like 6 of these just watch jauffre go unconscious
My god there is a psychopath on the loose !
6:54 Hungry for electric bolts you are.
She was obviously hungry for electric bolts...
What sword is that, The two-handed one?
Perfect Madness Claymore from the SI DLC!
put that ba-

Damn he takes moving of books way too much seriously. 😳
Oblivion had a police system that cyberpunk 2077 has not been able to implement to this day hell the guards even gave you a chance to surrender voluntarily which isn't an option even in gta 5 just goes to show what bethesda could do if they weren't lazy
He was simply *moving* things…how is that thievery!?
If everyone who witnessed a crime died. Did it really happen?
No.
*no it didn't*
22 gold... Impressive, he could have bought 4 pints of ale at the local inn!
You touch the pint you get the fine
How dare you pick up that worthless cup!
*How dare you?*
it just works
"Yes, I was in the chess club."
How DARE you steal from me! ...good day :)

@@ThatsCoolDude Bye.
Apparently touching books is a serious crime.
The inevitable madness of endgame.
When you've helped everyone and now you're bored so you spread chaos and mayhem...
How did you cause the guards to fear you without using magicka?? 🤔🤔🤔
Messing with the console :(
Oh dang I thought it was a glitch or something. I only have Oblivion on Xbox. 😥😥😥
The guards realized that they are NPCs in a game, and decided to go live for themselves.
