      This guy is trying to be a prick and is misleading people with his quick bs and is majorly glossing over some of the most basic features and how to set up your clips. This is not a beginners guide, but more of a guide to discourage people from using Final Cut Pro which can be really easy to use with some practice and some realistic, but more time consuming tutorials for beginners. Did anyone learn the basics of algebra in a 10 minute video, then have the teacher tell you it is your fault for not understanding, and to watch the tutorial in slow motion to master the basics? Good video for people with mediocre understanding of the software, but very misleading title from an entitled kid.

    Some have said this tutorial was too fast. When I first watched it, I thought the same. The key is to remember you are not going to know what Mark knows in one video. I have now watched it for about the fourth time. Between the first time I watched it and now, I made a much longer video. SO it will be confusing, but take a breath and watch it tomorrow and a few days after that. I am a beginner and he is a very experienced FCPX user. You have to get some fundamentals. What good is knowing where Phoenix is if you can't find Arizona. Thanks for the tutorial mark.

    If the tutorial went too fast for you - select speed settings on the top right of the video and change to 0.75x IT WILL BE SLOWER !

    This was a video showing how good you are and not at all like a beginners. It's like first day at as a carpenter with a master craftsman saying you just do this

    Hi I make beats, I am now getting into filming. I followed other channels who had 50 mins+ of tut on final cut ,but this video was 10 mins and easy to follow along nice work. And thank you !

    Good information but this was presented way too fast to learn very much. I may watch on 50% speed. I'm quite good with iMovie but this looks like a better program......Take care, Bluefin.

    What!? Creating a video was this easy!?!?! I’m shocked. I mean I know this is just a basic tutorial for beginners but it’s so intuitive. Love this video.

    Yes it did move WAY to fast for a "beginner" tutorial, but not a flame. You presented lots of good information but I had so stop and replay sections over and over to see where you were clicking and what you were doing. Thank you for presenting the great information.

    I find it really helpful to be fast because even as a beginner i get bored when they explain step by step every little thing, for me it was like an overview for understanding the layout and i can check later each tool.

    Very nicely done in such short span of time. I hate dragged out lengthy tutorials. I totally would agree on pause and replay on the parts that we aren’t certain. Keep it up. On the same page as you, like it short, succinct and neat.
    Keep it up bro.

    As someone who is coming back to relearning how to use Final Cut Pro X, this video was perfect because I already knew most of these but with a new updates. However, if someone is completely new to the program, then this video is going to be hard to follow. Just an observation. Thanks for the help.

  • @avarmadillo
    @avarmadillo 4 роки тому

    Great tutorial, but I'm not sure "beginner" should be in the title. Too many commenting were actual beginners. They need a tutorial before this tutorial, if you know what I mean. And, by the way, I agree---drawn out tutorials, where the presented tells us the story of his or her life, what they did yesterday,, what they plan to do today or tomorrow, etc---you get the idea--those make me a little crazy. Short videos packed with information that can be watched over and over until you've got it---those are great. You're on the right track by doing that!
    I subscribed and saved! Thank YOU!
