    Awesome, thanks for this video. Would have loved this more if the formula you listed can be seeded in a screener app and we can get a list of such bonds/funds, would have saved a lot of time to analyse them separately

    I didn't become financially independent till I was in my mid 40s after having a major financial setback during the covid , Thank God i'm now on my feet . In addition to buying my second house, I'm also making money on a monthly basis through passive income, and I've also met some of my goals. I really hope this motivates someone to know that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet; no matter your age, you can start today. Investing can help you change your future!

    Hey Prateek, I have been following you for quite sometime. Really like the way you are decoding the principles of investing in various instruments. I like this video where you explained how to select a debt fund.
    The one missing piece, I have found here, or you may come up with another video, when to invest in debt funds for different categories of investors and how much allocations should go in debt funds basis the market cycle. Would love your guidance on this aspect also.

  • @ayushgoyal3797
    @ayushgoyal3797 3 місяці тому

    All in all good video... Just last part with suggesting Gilt funds are safest doesn't give the clear picture. Gilt funds can also give negative returns in cumulative weeks, months sometimes. It all depends on the interest rate scenario in the market. New investors can get confused on negative returns with debt funds. Please give clear picture before making a suggestion.

    Best is to invest in Bank FD or Post office deposits. Stock market investment returns mostly rely on uncontrollables including luck. Also, in 2023, taking past 3 years return for any calculation could be incorrect. Reason - Most stocks, post covid slump in March 2020, have returned and grown leaps and bounds.
