The problem was that in the music videos there's auto tune, edition and all the shanenigans, and the performance it's live, so some songs are great in videos but the singer can't carry it live, like hold the notes or sing out of tune the songs end up sounding wrong. U can compare titan and sand videos, both songs are great and perfect, but live the singers were out of tune and couldn't hold the notes so it was flat and bad. Unfortunately that was mustii case, he was the most out of tune of the night and had stage problems so it was sad but right to not qualify. UK was another one that if didn't had the free finale pass wouldn't classified because Olli was terrible singing it live on the first semi finals.

Poland is on my list of songs that I really like this year and def should've qualified. I'll be playing Luna's song before the final because to me she belongs there 😊
He might have been slightly out of tune and not at the voice level he wanted to be, but we have to admit that he gave it all on this performance and transmitted an energy at the end of the song that very few did. He could have entered the finals in the last places and get another chance to prove. Song is great and deserves it. He anyway impacted a lot of people in the industry so in the end, it's a win for his singing future.

I love how Belgium often sends these mystic songs with a great aura. Sadly he was probably very nervous because the vocals were just not there this time. He should've qualified and gotten another chance because this is a banger and many of the qualifying songs were bad. This is one of my favorite songs this year, gonna have it on repeat. It's really a shame that this performance and song didn't make it to the finals. This is currently being talked about in the forums in Turkiye. Sometimes it's really unfair in Eurovision. Among all the songs, this song is among the top 5 performances I liked most.
The song is in insane but he unfortunately he wasn't able to perform it properly. Except for the end part where there was definetely a spark of greatness.
He sang a bit out of tune at the beginning but picked it up towards the end. Loreen also sang out of tune last year but still won the final. This was the best song this year, I still can't believe it was voted off.

It just destroys the vibe of the whole song. Loreen didn't have that problem because the song still had high energy. And as already said, most singers would love to sing like Loreen sings on a bad day.

Tbh Eurovision 2021 was a very strong year, but Hooverphonic deserved to be in the top 5 at least, if not to win. They were criminally underrated. Belgium has been underrated for a long time now, 2018 was a sick robbery.
Belgium didn't qualify because his whisper-singing in the first half didn't allow him to carry a tune. When he goes louder at the second half, that's where his voice truly blooms. Great artist, not the right song.

I'm glad that boring party ended prematurely for us Belgians. I think Musti had to many wannabee superstar pre parties hollywood style celebrating an early victory in his delusional mind and that impacted his voice on the stage when it mattered. Don't sing out of tune should be a minimal requirement to reach the final and it appears to be so.

This is just outrageous. One of the few unique songs of this year's edition. Really sad to see Mustii not going through. The moment they announced Latvia's qualification, I think we all realized what was about to happen.
My sentimental favorite this year. I was cheering for Mustii from start to finish, "C'mon boy! You got this!" Shaky start and a bit lost here and there but definitely think he nailed this performance. Belgium deserved to qualify!

I love how Belgium often sends these mystic songs with a great aura. Sadly he was probably very nervous because the vocals were just not there this time. He should've qualified and gotten another chance because this is a banger and many of the qualifying songs were bad. This is one of my favorite songs this year, gonna have it on repeat. It's really a shame that this performance and song didn't make it to the finals. This is currently being talked about in the forums in Turkiye. Sometimes it's really unfair in Eurovision. Among all the songs, this song is among the top 5 performances I liked most.

The song is in insane but he unfortunately he wasn't able to perform it properly. Except for the end part where there was definetely a spark of greatness.
He sang a bit out of tune at the beginning but picked it up towards the end. Loreen also sang out of tune last year but still won the final. This was the best song this year, I still can't believe it was voted off.

The problem with this song is that it is easier killed by bad vocals. It just destroys the vibe of the whole song.
Loreen didn't have that problem because the song still had high energy. And as already said, most singers would love to sing like Loreen sings on a bad day.
@@thombogd1022 We have to agree to disagree. Both songs rely on the dramatic vocals, the background is minimalistic. Loreen's song was my favourite last year because she sang it perfectly in the semi-final and people still voted when she botched it in the final. Mustii wasn't given that chance.

Tbh Eurovision 2021 was a very strong year, but Hooverphonic deserved to be in the top 5 at least, if not to win. They were criminally underrated. Belgium has been underrated for a long time now, 2018 was a sick robbery.
Belgium didn't qualify because his whisper-singing in the first half didn't allow him to carry a tune. When he goes louder at the second half, that's where his voice truly blooms.

I'm glad that boring party ended prematurely for us Belgians. I think Musti had to many wannabee superstar pre parties hollywood style celebrating an early victory in his delusional mind and that impacted his voice on the stage when it mattered. Don't sing out of tune should be a minimal requirement to reach the final and it appears to be so.

My sentimental favorite this year. I was cheering for Mustii from start to finish, "C'mon boy! You got this!" Shaky start and a bit lost here and there but definitely think he nailed this performance. Belgium deserved to qualify!
