Excellent presentation! Fluent, eloquent, factual.
It’s beautiful! I’ve never had a gooseberry. May need to try it 😊
Does great in the phoenix, AZ area
Might make a good sour jelly
Your gooseberry looks to be a heavy producer Wendi! Here last night produced about 3/4" of needed rainfall. Must be Spring! -Bob...
You should try Cossack Pineapple or ground cherry. If you do just beware cherries that make it to the ground if missed will grow the following year. They took over my garden.😂
What do you use for the soil?
Another beautiful vlog, thank you for sharing. Question (challenge actually lol), how do you defer the wildlife (birds, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, etc) from indulging on you fruits and veggies (without harming them), seems like pepper plants are all i can successfully harvest....also, have you tried used coffee or tea grounds in your soil mix? Can't wait for the next posting!!!!!😊
.......yay, my Barbados Gooseberry arrived a couple of days ago. Can't wait to see it grow!😊
I live in Barbados and never saw this plant. 😮
i bought one from the soil conservation unit at agrofest. It was $8

We have a gooseberry which is green in color and grows on a tree and is sour.
It's called the star gooseberry.
Hi Wendy I also live in Barbados and I have this gooseberry growing in my garden. Got the plant from Balls Plantation a few years back at their annual show

Spines not thorns
