I have seen really expensive incubators. Never one as easy or inexpensive as this one. Good to know for those hobbyists that are not in the money. Anyone can get a deli container and most have coffee filters already in the house. The whole thing would be less than 2 dollars to make. ( if you are using specially filtered water).
Just out of curiousity, would you not have found it easy to have removed the lid on the water bottle abd poured the water in?.. Seemed unnecessarily strenuous. Just a thought, great vid!
Y no vent holes in the top of the lid? I no guys who do the holes in the lid and not on the sides. Do you keep them there on the shelf or put them into something bigger to control heat?
What do you do when it’s time to separate them? I just had an unexpected egg sac. I rescued an adult H Lividum from a local pet store about a year ago. She passed away and left me with a full sac. I’m attempting to incubate the eggs now. No legs yet. Thanks.
