As a mom it broke my heart watching the momma spooder grab her egg sack back. I mean I know you do everything to make sure as many lives are lived by these little ones as possible, but it just really tugged ony heartstrings. What a good mama. ♡
I bet you never lose that excitement and sense of wonder when you open an egg sac, and see the new lives inside! Incredible. Interesting how protective Mama is over the sac. Does she grieve for it, once it's removed - or am I guilty of projecting human emotions onto an arachnid? Do you ever see evidence of a maternal bond with between Mama and her spiderlings Dave? I believe you once said about one breed, if the spiderlings were left in with mum for too, long she would start eating them. Is that correct? Glad you've dispensed with the background music Dave, unnecessary and distracting. Your commentary is all we need! Great video - wonderful how your channel has come on so fast! All down to the skill of you and your fabulous wife - more power to you and 'DAVE'S LITTLE BEASTIES!'
Aww bless them, they so tiny and beautiful. Thank you for sharing really good to see things like this in the hobby and people sharing the knowledge to help others become responsible and good owners. Big thumbs up from me.
Hi Mark , these were kept at my room temperature of 80f and the tissue was just kept damp at one end through out the time they were in there only a couple of weeks, I had no casualties all survived.
@@daveslittlebeasties ahhh ok2 that's nice here in Philippines its too hot to breed some species that's why there are so many failed attempts here whenever tried. We need airconditioned room set to 80f 😂
Mate I don't have Facebook I'm afraid but can msg you on mrs facebook or send my email I'm very interested in a couple/few of these Ts cheers for replying
Omg that was a good mom... you won't take my eggs... u will bite you. Leave my kids alone... lol I am wondering why you don't leave the eggs with mom? Would she kill them? Or is it just to make sure you don't lose babies?
isnt there a risk for them to pop/break when you drop the egg sack from that height? i know grown females are really sensitive to falling from rather(what I think anyway) low heights,,🤔

Thank you for the support we really appreciate it, and yes all spiders will eat each other if kept together , the only exception are M.balfouri 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties As a happily child-free woman I see where spider mums are coming from - kids are great, but a meal's a meal, lol! 🤣🤣🤣
Love all the little babies!!! They are so stinkin cute 🥰

Thank you sharing is what its all about ❤️
Oh boy, another playlist to eat cereal to!
Certainly some mama instincts there!
Ah the first of many many sacks to come...
Dave this video starts like a demonstration from a chimney sweep. 😂😂😂‼️
😂😂😂😂
LOL with a pair of fangs waiting for you 😅
Awwww little cuties 😍 💓 💖
I'm gonna hazard a guess and say you remove the egg sack from Mum so she doesn't eat the slings?
Do you plan on replacing the black furry? She was absolutely stunning!
Yes I would like to 👍
Nice mate how many was in there ?
I haven't counted them yet 😂
will it hurt the babies by dropping them from that height?
No they are fine 👍
So what would happen if you did not open sack and left it with, I know it’s probably a dumb question just curious
They will often hatch in the enclosure which makes collecting them much harder and also run the risk of the female eating the sac 👍
When transfered to the incubator what are the temps and humidity?

@@annnoyez It makes it harder to catch babies, very time consuming. And the mom could eat the babies.
could do without the music. can't hear you talking very well!

They are in no danger my friend 👍
Music makes it hard to hear your voice.
(I'm glad you did away with the musical sound track in later videos. I found it annoying and it made it difficult to hear the narrative.)
