You probably wouldnt be doing excessive exercise like bart here is. Since food is limited and muscle soreness could kill you in a real survival situation you wouldnt want to burn more calories than you had to, especially if youre carrying a heavy backpack

That wound on last episode was sooo unfair. Glad you didn't get infected tho. Its the only thing I don't like about this great game, somethimes the hitboxes get a little woonkie.

Many PZ players might hate me for this, but the fact that a character can eat some raw ingredients (like sugar, dried beans and all their varieties, maple syrup) should be removed or to add drawbacks, because irl if someone tried to stomach eathing a whole sugar pack, it would make them puke, same with maple syrup if you tried to drink a whole bottle at once
I like the idea of some raw foods making you nauseous. You can vary the effects based on how much of it you eat.
I'd even go as far as to say someone fresh into the apocalypse would be pretty unhappy eating an uncooked can of food or raw potatoes.
@@BlastingXNP the unhappiness percentage should be added, like if you were eating bugs (but far less than that, because irl I would eat raw canned veggies before raw roaches any day of the week)
On the other hand - you can't eat a sausage without cooking it. I often eat raw sausages as a snack irl and find no issues - but my character died the first time I did it 😂

So-called fresh sausages, which is just-ground up raw meat in a tube with no other processing does need to be cooked before you can eat it, but smoked or dried sausage can often be eaten without cooking because it's already preserved in a way that kills off harmful bacteria. If it's a sausage that can be kept outside the fridge without rotting, it's probably safe to eat raw.
Canned spilletti - the food you scrape up off the floor and eat anyway cos you're just that hungry... :P
Hello sir. Started following you a short while. Loved this zero to hero series so far. Have a quick question though as a newbie: in first video you mention "extremely rare" for the loot settings. Does setting everything on the sandbox menu would also apply to mod-added items? I mean, if I select everything extremely rare, would my world loot look like yours?

I usually start in rosewood (mainly because i like having the prison nearby to raid and i don't mind a long journey to places with water to set up a permanent place to stay where i can fish) and these past couple runs I've actually found a military jacket in one of the two sorta almost-mansions there on the east of town (the ones that are slightly back in the woods with the dirt driveway)

idk if it's a mod that I have in my PZ, but I can take fuel from fuel barrels. You can find one northwest of you in that small warehouse if you need fuel.

Now that you're no longer overweight, you will slowly lose high thirst and hearty appetite. It will take a few days though. I recommend giving the mod's spreadsheet a read so you can plan your future episodes!
Edit: okay, the appetite traits were fast to go actually, huh. Still, perhaps you can tackle your space fears next. Getting rid of Agoraphobia will be huge for your combat abilities!
I did a negative traits challenge (122 negative skill points). I was surprised how it didn't change my game play that much. I still died in Louisville as usual.

You said in one of the first episodes that you could lose smoker. Right? When do you plan to lose it (if you do).
Actually that strength book could be a godsend. It still gives a boost even if you are past the point where it would be useful. Although that may have only been because of the literacy mod.
I feel as though the book may have not been that good actually. He has Fitness and workout overhaul, which operate with the same multipliers as books...
Some stalker gamma or efp would be a good new series 👀

It takes atleast around 100 days for you to lose smoker via evolving traits mod, atleast thats how i understood it from the comments in workshop page
Assuming parity to real life, you might have traded weight-loss for nicotine addiction. Smoking acts as an appetite suppressant; if you're losing weight (and therefore eating less) you'll find it harder to kick your habit. Hunger pains are more severe without the slight anaesthetic effect smoking has on your gut, and you'll crave something else to do with your hands and mouth. Now that you're at your target weight, if you increase your exercise regime and increase your food intake simultaneously, you might be able to kick the nicotine.

Lime you can safely cook rotten ingredients in high cookig levels its goated
It takes 7 levels of cooking, which take a while to get to. Still, every crafting level helps hos traits too!
