Snapcamera will disapear forever on January 25th. I have been looking for free alternatives and this is one I found.

Regarding the product, I’m still waiting for a solution that will allow me to add a customized filter (as a character draw by myself) and also a customized background (draw by myself, too).

Think it's cool that you mentioned nutty as you and him are my go tos for OBS Tips. I can't stream as laptop can't handle it but favourited tips i've liked into a folder.

As a FaceRig Pro owner I never really gelled with it, didn't read too many positives about Amaze when I looked into it months ago. I'd love something like SnapCam, but doesn't disappear when you cover your eyes etc. Even taking a drink it exposed my face. I will still back up SnapCam though and continue searching
9 months later. Has another favorite app been born yet?

Animaze is a Vtuber software. Not the best one, but it's doing its job well. VTube Studio for Live2D avatars and VSeeFace for 3D avatars are better options, IMHO, but unlike Animaze they are not bundled with avatar sets. Also, avatars can be very impressive with toggle expressions and also it's possible improve face tracking using Face ID of an iPhone, but avatar should support this as well.
Not much different the getting a plastic doll and putting it in a char and filming it imo.

unfortunately all those have just too much of a time sink, this is 10000% better to just download it and start streaming and fix it along t he way

Hi Michael.. I just subscribed as you seem to be one of the few YTubers that know anything about what I am trying to accomplish (yes, I have goals set) I am trying to launch a buiz that involves doanloadable templates and custom graphics for RC foam planes. I have a multi HD (all Sony handicam) build bench/studio but is separate from the PC area. Also have a nice Brick bachdrop, stand etc with LED lighting etc. .. Looks like I just came onboard about the instant the perfect app is going away (Snaphat, Snapcam)...how sad. What I need to be able to do is take my build videos (with my ugly mug or maybe not) and use an animated avatar. I have two perfect avatars . Both were paid vector logos but only have one perspective. ( I could have others drawn and fund the artists that helped before). This lpatop have no cam on it so I would have to buy the acam attachment (top of screen) to get the aninmation functionality. I need to be able to shoot the build videos and the edit the vids in some reccommended simple editor to get the animated overlays. I see where you mention Animaze. I also see mention of OB or OB studio or something like that. The vids will be viewed by all ages as they donwload, print and cut out the custom graphics templates and create their super cool RC planes. The cartoon style animations are to liven up the video and and will appear at any of 4 corners of the vids.. Maybe you have some reccomendations to what I actually need to accomplish these goals.
Does it have a mirror camera feature too just like snap camera? That's the only purpose of snapcamera on my desktop because I use it during online class in google meets.
Im looking for a software to *add filters to an already shot video* , not a livestream video.

Snapcamera doesn't have an application outside of use on a website type situation anymore. =/ They discontinued it Jan 25th. Sad days, I had just discovered it through this video.

Ok. I’m a voice actor and I would like to use the face of a character that I voiced to play games in my streams with my fans. How do I take the face of that character and create a custom avatar? Is this software the one to use or would you recommend another?
You could use this. I find it is kinda deadpan for my liking and I tend to like stuff that sugments your own face. but this works.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr Deadpan might be ok. I can't get afford the kind of software that would take it to another level, but to have the face of the character replace my face and look like he's talking might be all I need.

Idk why, this application not running on my PC.
Everytime downloading file or updatig from this application still broken, suddenly force closed, nothing happened, failed download and redownloading again.
I using VseeFace and prprlive, sometimes REALITY on Android live streaming on my OBS PC.
I didnt freak out about snap camera leaving. figured smart people who find me an alternative :) ty

hi buddy I subbed to you. since I'm waiting for a update on snap camera. I have a question the only reason I use snap cam is for a beauty filter nothing outrageous. so what I'm trying to ask you is if there is any programs that you know of that has simple filters for face that works with any webcam. thank you even if i can just adjust colors that's fine anything will help.
There's one called PerfectCam. It's just makeup but it works ok. Not as good as some of SnapCamera's makeup filters, but it's what I'm using for now until I find a better option.
Most vtubers don't use Animaze, they use Vseeface, and also a phone to capture facial expressions more precisely (or they have premade expressions hotkeyed).
Also custom avatars.
The stock ones are indeed too lifeless.

You should do a video for mac as nutty only did PC. I guess i don't understand. Wont Snap still work after the 25th you just cant download it or the lenses or filters.
The answer is maybe. If they have some mechanism to disable it locally then no. That why you block snapcamera through the firewall.

Animaze used allot of resources, I’ve owned the original since it came out years ago and yes it’s fun but found it very limited when streaming
