am not at all surprised to hear this, the police are the worst of the worst. i avoid them as much as possible and never ever talk to them.
I asked her on her fb account before and she replied I asked y no kids and she said it just didn't happen!!
Being a kid/teen when the show came out, Dawn was my favorite character on Gilligan's Island! She was like Gidget Goes to the Deserted Island. I have a copy of her Gilligan's Island recipe book and love several of the recipes she collected. She is remembered.
One of.my teachers was busted for drugs. They where devout mormons. They would their use at a bid dirscount. So sad. The heater wad not gulity. Rumors in a small town take over their truth. Oh old neighborhood is full of hard drugs now
Thanks for setting the record straight. I didn't know anything about it other than she had been arrested for drug possession, which was outrageous. At least her friend told the truth.

I have to say, this is way more believable than what the press was putting out. It's amazing how fast people are ready to 💩 on someone for money.
As a former cop, I say I may have arrested her had I not known who she was, but if he bragged about it later, he's a POS.
If that happened these days there would be lawsuits flying thick and fast
Was it a group of the police officers that sold her story to the newspapers or was it one police officer who sold her story to the newspapers so he can get some extra bucks out of it maybe he wanted to pay off his house or he went to buy a brand new car with the money that he got. That person should also be sued by her lawyer it’s not right to sell somebody’s personal problems to the public or to the newspaper. That’s my opinion. I would say a multi billion dollar lawsuit after all they found out later that it was not your paraphernalia was not your drugs but the other guys drugs and then inquire or newspapers don’t wanna print that you were innocent?? They were wrong too that’s why I say you could sue the newspaper for not printing what they call a retraction and make a public apology to you to a whole world would read. The newspaper company dirtied your good name they were wrong they slandered your good name they made it you look dirty when you’re not. And since I did that you should get your lawyers after them sue them for a couple of billion dollars or whatever. He gave half to your lawyer and the other half you taken build your business back up you are a good person in my book you’re an angel and you’re beautiful.!

Why didn’t she do something like this? Because the retraction would make it seem that they had to cave in to a powerful actress. Just another case of a powerful person, or group, able to coverup the truth. Or would spin it in some way to make her seem bad. It was best to ignore the uproar and soldier on. There is no way she could win against a corporation that buys ink by the barrels.

never do the field sobriety test or the portable (roadside) breath test, they are not required but the police won't tell you this. always tell the police that you're not consenting to any searches or seizures, so if they find anything it won't be admissible as evidence. never loan your car to anyone, and if you do then search through it very carefully to ensure that nothing illegal was left behind.

My guess is Dawn didn’t want it to turn into a legal battle or something; if she struggled with medical bills she probably couldn’t have afforded lawyers

That requires money for legal counsel though, which she didn’t have. When you’re up against someone with way more money than you, they can just stretch the case out with frivolous garbage till you’re broke and can’t pay your lawyers, plus she’d be generating more news for yellow journalists to twist into something ugly.

you can't always stop them from searching your car, but you can tell them you're not consenting to any searches or seizures. if the police start asking questions, say "i don't answer questions" or "i am invoking my 5th Amendment right to remain silent."
