I like'em both. These two will be duking it out until the end of time. But the Ram just has the edge for me. Cummins, interior, towing confidence(2-stage engine braking, rear airbags for leveling and rear jounce control), and styling are pluses for me.
I have been waiting for my 2023 F450 Limited and is now finally getting too tired of waiting. Today, I stopped by the Ram dealer and looked at 2024 Ram 3500 Limited Pearl White with HO 6.7 with 6 speed Aisin trans. I added 50 gallon tank, Auto Level rear air suspension, night edition, Limited level 1 equipment group, Flat cap length side steps.. - Should I go to Ram??? Is Ram a good truck as well. They are offering 6k off msrp for 2024 and they are offering 60k for my 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat.
@@wj2791 just do it in Nike speak! Yes, you can't go wrong. I have the exact truck except in SRW. Ram is the only player giving discounts right now. Unlike many, I don't have a desire to have the latest/greatest/biggest in the class. The Ram has largely worked out all of its kinks and the Cummins is a crown jewel.
I've had 7 Dodge Rams over the last 22 years, but purchased the 2022 Ford F350 because of payload, the 10sp transmission and Dodge customer service really pissed me off ignoring/ neglecting the DEF alerts and problems in my 2017 2500 ... totally blew me off and acted like there isn't a problem (22 alerts and 2 shut downs)!! I like the style/ features of both trucks equally. I will be towing a 43' 5th wheel with substantial time/ miles towing in the mountains. I've rode in a friends F350 with the 10 speed transmission towing comparable weight and the Ford didn't work as hard as the Dodge in the mountains put that with Dodges piss poor customer service..... it's a new Ford in my garage. It was tough giving up on Dodge, but they did it to themselves.
I do like both for each their own reasons, but Ford always wins for me. I would much rather the powertrain/drivetrain of the superduty with the v8 over an in-line 6.
Yea can't go wrong with eather, I have the new 475 superduty, damn they are powerful, but I think my next HD will be a Ram. Great comparison vid. And if someone from Ram reads this, I'd already be driving a Ram HD, if you had the 5th gen cab, and 8 speed in your HDs, that would kill the competition.
@@baselqashou5716 yea im not worried, I have a 2022 on order, but im still pretty sure if I order another truck, it'll probably be a ram, I have both a a 5th gen ram 1500, and ford superduty, im extremely impressed with my ram, so I want to try their HDs.

The Powerstrokes have been growing on me over the years but I’d take the Ram 2500, the price of diesel fuel is worth it to me, Love the Ben Hardy review of these tricks as always 🤘🏻🤘🏻
These have been the 2 main trucks I been looking at, and damn for a work truck, it’s such a tough choice, since I haul 10k+ pounds 3 days a week traveling about 400-500 miles a week, I think the Ram may be the one. Thank you for this video
Everyone wants to buy a truck when prices are high and inventory is low. Wait for the economy to drop off, we aren’t far from it. Buyers remorse is a real thing.
Just wanted to make a correction. On the 3500 ram mega cab, the payload is higher then a crew cab 3500 as the gvwr is 11400 vs 11000 or somewhere around there. Usually around 4k lbs. The 2500 mega, you lose payload as the gvwr is 10k still. I love my ram, just wish they would update the trans to an 8, 9 or 10 speed!
They have 8 speed automatic trans on the normal cummins and the 6.4 hemi, but if you get the High Output cummins, then you get the Aisin trans which is meant more for towing
Been in both. Ive worked construction all work trucks for the moat part are Ford's, and something i noticed on the 17-22 model years was the gap between the door panel and the window. I likely have no reason to have it bother me but on any ram that gap is non-existent, the build quality also seems better even on the base model Tradesman the Ram feels less 'cheap' despite being less then their ford counterpart. Im not hating on either both are great trucks. However will always be a part of the Ford for work Ram for personal use club
Both trucks look great. I lean towards the Ford only because I like the looks of it from the outside a little more than the Dodges look. For me it's just about the appearance since they both have very similar performance ratings.
The Lord has shown me to get a Superduty with everything. Brand new off the factory showroom floor. And pay cash. Staying debt free! So far the f350. Probably with factory modifications. AND ECONOMICAL!!!

I love the RAM but this is one thing I know. The plush Ford seats are waaaaaay more comfortable than the RAM plush seats. This is very evident on long hauls.
I love the look of the F350 with the blackout package however I went with Ram for the HO Cummins and Aisin. To me that is the best engine and trans package
The aisin is significantly worse than ford or gms 10 speed transmissions and I'm not a huge fan of the 10 speeds either. The 6 speed Allison and Fords 6R140 were impossible to compete with. I will say I like the HO cummins just a little bit more than the powerstroke and a lot more than the L5P due to GM being lazy.
@@justinramsey8815 they are not significantly worse than the 10 speeds except for speed. I bought a 2022 ram 3500 high output truck. It’s a nice truck but it does not tow or handle the load anywhere near as well as my Ford F-350. I think there is something that is just not quite dialed in with the suspension geometry on the ram. It’s honestly miles behind the handling of the F-350.
