The Duke says, I have been a hot shot driver in the Houston Texas area since 1988. I was one of the first people in Texas to own a 1990 Dodge diesel. The engine and transmission were superb but the rest of the truck was lacking. But I have been driving Fords for many years now. To answer your question about which truck is better for hot shot here's my answer. You can't go wrong with either one of them. I currently drive a 2023 Ford f-550 with the Godzilla gas engine and love it. I could have bought a ram but didn't. But it would not have been a mistake if I did buy one. There's things about the ram I just don't like at all. But at the same time there's some things on the Ford I don't like at all. It really is all about personal preference. I wish I could help you more but these trucks are very similar in capability. What did I teach you?
My dad had a ram 6.7 black 2022 before it even turned 2023 he bought it and then a 2024 February caught on fire. It took so long for the fire department to respond because it was a volunteer fire department completely so he heard shotgun noises and that was airbags going off the thing he liked was the seats they were so comfortable he probably wishes he still has it so do I it was a good truck
Is true that crew cab is more likely to snap the chassis if I install a heavy built on camper than the single cab? Because of the center gravity location? I saw some crew cabs broke in half, iam looking for building a hard side camper which probably total weight is 9000 pounds, which chassis cab do you recommend, thank you
I don't think I'm biased to ram buy I love mine ( 2022 ram 3500 cummins ) I love the seat comfort and I love the interior layout. Not that ford is a less superior truck, I just think the ram is better for me. Just my 2 cents
@@krice24 because your lazy and you don't do maintenance properly and you have problems but I take care of them and it respects me for taking care of it

Ford kicks ass ....again!
your decision but I still choose dodge ram I know ford trash
Coldest air I’ve had was an 02 ford ranger and my 2000 jeep was pretty cold too
Ford super duty 👌
Ram has the worst AC for some reason. Ford and GM dominate that space.
But when it comes to towing and working..... Who Work... RAM
KERNERSVILLES RAM IN NC , Mark Dodge Chrysler Ram and Dan Cummins Ram in KY .

What trim do you have? I'm looking at a used 3500 HO Dually Longhorn, they're ain't 70k for 30k miles
Electronic parking brake?? What were they thinking
Doesn't Dodge offer the 6.7 Cummins HO?
Sadly enough, the ram will probably carry more weight because there’s multiple small plies will put up with more than the bigger plies on the Ford
I've always said Ford has the best AC and heaters.
Do dodge trans still suck beyond belief? Have a buddy that had his go out after 60k miles. He does haul heavy equipment.
Longevity still going with ram all day, I like the Ford's alot but there just not there especially with that garbage 10 speed
Yeah we have the other technician at my job has a does I have the dodge and that ten speed when your taking off from a light just feels slow and week.
Rams just the Cummins holds all the other part of the trucks sucks
The sad thing about Cummins they have hydraulic lifters and they wear out sooner then expected and it a 13 thousand bill to the owner
I'll take the Ram any day.
Which one gives me +500 k
Cummins pulls better, we all know!!
Till she blows all the new ones don’t make past 100k till lifter destroys the motor. It’s well known.

@@mjoliver457 can’t help it’s that delicate. My fords and GMC’s are not… rock solid
@krice24 I'm well past 100k on my 22 2500 6.7L.. You were saying Mr. Expert... Zero issues with anything since I drove it off the lot.
60k on ram no issues hotshot driver 😊only maintenance
