Thanks for this--the procedure works for my 2013 F150 Ecoboost Platinum! Only difference is that I had a different fuse to pull and re-insert (the 15A/#2) instead of the 10A/#32 mentioned in the video. Be sure to refer to your owner's manual and you should be good to go.👍

This worked, but mines a 2011 and it's fuse #2 in mine and not 32 make sure you check that first 😂. Thankfull for spare fuses. Still fixed in under 5 minutes.
True Story, fuse 32 only worked with a full Sony/Sync~2? 2015 platinum. It was the Strangest thing prior; new phone connected for calls but not for audio(prior new phone worked for an hour for audio then stopped), pull fuse 32 ~Sync only for barely a minute. If full Sony/Sync2 it does a hard restart with long SYNC start screen and then phone fully connects immediately radio memory, and everything still good didn't even need to re-add phone in bluetooth connection screen. Tried everything else(pairs, removes, re-pairs, fully delete all bluetooth pairings/connections) for hours prior. Good Video.
Worked for my 2016 XLT. The screen is different since I have navigation, but simply go to bluetooth in the settings and add a device and it works again! Thanks for posting your video!
So I have a 17 F150. Mine is actually a push button start. So this method didn't actually work for me, but what I did do was have the truck on then removed the fuse while truck was on. Then I turned it off with fuse out. Put fuse back in, turned on the truck and it worked. Thanks for the video👍🏼.
I know it's way beyond 8 months since you commented. But whenever you hit the push button without your foot on the brake it does the same function as just turning the key. Hope it helps with future issues !

FYI, this fixed my SYNC but when that 10A fuse is removed, the vehicle will not start because the KEY FOB is not recognized. I have the push button start on the Platinum model.
Pulled out same fuse and tried to cycle truck on and it said no key detected i pulled the next fuse below that 1 and radio works now. 2020 f150 lariat push start
So I have a 2013 F-150 and the phone syncs with the Bluetooth but I can't get any music or audio to play from my apps on my phone like iheart, everything else works fine like voice commands for phone talking on the phone no problem.
My issue was that after I confirmed the SYNC six digit numbers, it said PAIRING.... and it takes forever, and then just seems to fail. Yes, my phone was on. Yes. My Bluetooth was enabled. Yes, I saw the six digit SYNC confirm numbers both places.... but truck doesn't seem to literally Pair correctly with my Samsung galaxy A13...thoughts??

You may have to go through the pairing process with your phone again, but this has been known to help some Ford owners.

I thought about pulling the radio and putting in the 10inch Display instead. What do y’all think about it?

This will allow a capacitor to drain and reset the SYNC system. You may have to go through the pairing process with your phone again, but this has been known to help some Ford owners.
Sometimes this will fix the probably permanently, sometimes its just a bandaid fix. Its easy enough to do every few weeks, but I can see how some would not want to do this that often as well.
Try disconnecting both battery cables from your battery, touching the unhooked battery cables together for a few seconds, then reconnect them to the battery and see if that fixes your bluetooth. disconnecting the cables and touching them together will allow a capacitor to be drained and help do a hard reset.

Please please check your amp fuse (fuse 19) I spent 6 hours taking apart my dash and putting in new screen and Audio control. Taking it in and out. And low and behold it’s a freaking fuse. Wtf hope this helps anyone who runs to the comments!!!!

my hubby can link his phone to his 2014 F150 XLT Lariat, but it won't stay synced when he turns the truck off. will this fix it? my phone works without any glitches. it seems it's just his phone - Samsung 5G.

THIS IS FOR 2015 TO 2022. FOR 2009 TO 2014 ITS THE SAME FUSE BOX, BUT ITS THE FAR LEFT, SECOND FUSE DOWN. ITS A BLUE 15 AMP FUSE.

FYI, this fixed my SYNC but when that 10A fuse is removed, the vehicle will not start because the KEY FOB is not recognized. I have the push button start on the Platinum model.
If you place the key fob in the slot where you would if the fob battery is dead it will start

I do this, but Sync still has to be reset about 5 times per year.
Anyone know where to get Ford's Sync system updates. Watched a video about uploading system updates but not where to get them.

My truck won’t hook up to my phone and won’t keep time .. and my compass don’t read out anymore just stuck to north..
