I know it’s been 2 years since you made this video. Do you know if HD or Lowes Carrie’s the same retractable door with the same locking mechanism?
@@lorenzomendez4937 Lowe's used to and we did their installs in our area but that program has ended in the US... In Canada home Depot carries them I believe. They are a professional install only, so even when you could get them in the US from a box store, you would still have to have them professionally installed. Is it possible to be glass or plexiglass instead of just mesh? I need to block noise from my french doors
@@nat.serrano it's not a standard thing that phantom does but your dealer might be able to submit a NSO(non standard order) requesting a 100% block out fabric... looks like an amazing product but Phantom legacy webistes is horrible. no real obvious option to buy products and keeps you on a loop.
Yes, you're right, it is a fantastic product! Phantom doesn't really sell to the end consumer. The reason being is that the installation on these is very tricky, especially if you've never installed retractable screens before. There are like 7 different sill adapters to choose from depending on your threshold of the door and every door is different! Then there is color of the unit and the threshold adapter and then you may or may not need a top track to catch the top rail. As you can see, this is a professionally installed product, Phantom has distributors that sell to dealers who then sell and install to the final customer like yourself. The best bet is to go to www.screenmobile.com and input your zip code to find the closest ScreenMobile nearest you. They will be more than happy to help you out with your retractable door needs.
