Hi guys, there is actually a easier way to do this and it's even for anyone driving a BMW E-series, it's a new beta feature in Carista! I’ve been using it for a bit, and it turns the fuel consumption gauge into a real-time temperature monitor. You can even customize the temperature range that shows up, which is super handy. What I love is that you don’t lose the fuel consumption display either - you can just move it to the center screen by pressing the BC button, so you still have both pieces of info right there. Honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me. Definitely worth checking out!
So can i just download the perfekt toolbox or do i have to have the bmqw software too? you didnt use it in the video so im curious to understand why i need that too
Works on 330d e90. The only issue is that temperature raises to 60-70 sometimes 80 degrees and then after regular driving temp drops to 50 degrees...i don't think is indicating properly.
Great video Will you show how to add the digital speedometer to the KOMBI? Also how do the backup files work? Is there a function on the perfekt toolbox to load up the backup files? Thanks,
Hello, your conversion instruction is great. I installed the Perfect Toolbox, everything works, I did the conversion, the test-drive works, the indicator shows the set value. The problem is, it doesn't show the oil temperature. Is it possible that my engine does not have an oil temperature sensor? e91 2006 2.0 Diesel M47N2
same problem. oil temperature sensor appears to overwrite the data from the coolant temperature sensor. through diagnostics these two data are identical. After setting as in the video, the oil temperature is kept to a minimum
Hi, good video thank you. I have tried to do on my e90 330i and have issue with values on gauge. When I set temperature to 100 I see 7 on gauge. When I set temperature to 120 I see 10 on gauge. Strange.
Have you tried to set the range from 70°C to 170°C with 120 in the middle ? It seems to be the right value for the 330i as you can see on a E92 330i cluster.
@@mecheng1977 I got a 335i cluster which has the tempeture gauge. Do you know if it's possible swap them and put it to work without codes and syncrhonized with my VIN? Ive looking for this and no answers so far...

Works like a charm with 330d M57. Only minor issue is that gauge doesn't point exactly to zero on ignition start.
you can change that with this
