As a Valencian I think you did a fantastic job with this video, hope you like it and I strongly recomend you to visit the city again between 15th and 19th of March to live Les Falles, one of the best and most uniques traditional festivities in the world.
In Valencia there are more incredible and beautiful places, Gaudí's only work is in the center and nobody knows it. And there is also a street with similar history as Sweeney Todd and much more. And it is not "Spanish" architecture ... You have to learn a history of country and city before putting incorrect information.
As a Valencian, I'm really pleased to see that you liked it! Valencia really is a beautiful city that some people from here don't appreciate... Thank you so much for showing Valencia to the world!❤
@@antifazisbonifaz6964 q va lo contrario jaja digo lo de pueblo xq soy de Valencia y en Valencia ciudad no solemos hablar Valenciano solo en una asignatura de clase pero mi barrio no tiene nada de bajo jajajaja
I was born in Valencia and lived there until I was 8 years old. I have so much family there and I LOVE visiting every year. (My mom is an architect and helped design the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias!) and I think you did a very good job with this video. Thank you for filling me with refreshing memories of my home.
Fantastic video, I'm missing the Turia dry river though, a 9km long park that's basically Valencian Central Park and some mention to the Paella, maybe the best dish you can find in Spain and it was created in the city. Also La Lonja de la Seda and the Horchata. But overall it was a good representation of the city, as a Valencian myself I approve.
The part about the two of you being drunk was so natural, cute and funny I laughed for a while. This was an adorable video. You did a great job! Thank you so much!
@@Worldwanderista Oh just the pandemic changed a lot of formats around Valencia but thanks to the resilience of the Spaniards, Valencia has been as sweet and amazing as always ☺️
Oh, yes - before I go - Valencia at night :Beautiful. I remember walking down an old cobbled street at about midnight, just off the Ayuntamiento ( Town / City Square ), and heard a young girl playing Ave Maria on a violin. What a contrast that was, to the delightful insanity of Las Fallas por la Noche.
Yay! They have beautiful vintage buildings! The architectural buildings amazing! Dream place to visit.. the cathedrals one of my wishes to visit there! Thanks for sharing this beautiful tour my friend! 🤍🤍🤍🤎🤎
I visited Valencia last year but I never saw half the things that you have shown in your vlog. I'm going again this year and will definitely visit the things that I missed last year and try Horchata !
I live in the north of England. Las Fallas de Valencia ? It surprises me that we cannot hear it from here. It is one of the most amazing things I`ve ever seen and heard in my life - and I`m old and have also been to many places around the world. Of course, most of us Britons have heard of Spanish Festivals and some of us chose to be ignorant enough to believe that they are nothing but `Bull Fights` where The Matador ( `killer` ) kills the bull. Not so - The Spanish take their festivals very seriously and I`ve never seen anything remotely as good as their festivals here in my own country - or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Las Fallas de Valencia is a Riot !
Very well done world wanderista. It have been a really pleasurable experience to see my city trough your beatiful eyes. Very good and well seen and explained. Visca Valencia
Hello! I'm from Teachare channel. I'm here to apologize you for using this video of you without permission. Anyway, I didn't use it for any commercial purpose. I am a teacher of Spanish in Thailand. I was teaching about Valencia when I showed your video in my class just to show them how is the city. I used it as my teaching materials only. In that moment, I did online teaching due to the Covid-19 situation in Thailand and I recorded the video while I taught in order that my students who could not join the class were able to revise what they had missed. It has nothing to do with money. Moreover, I wrote in the description part below the video saying that I gave credit and special thanks to the channel whose I used the videos in my class to express my objective of the video usage. By the way, I totally understand why you had to report my video. I'm here just to apologize you and thank you again for you great video.
I’m thinking of moving there for the summer, what is it like for work if you can’t speak Spanish fluently? I know unemployment is bad in Spain but I really love the country
I’m pleasantly surprised you have included the Baños del Almirante; it’s quite hidden and not well known! Did you know that despite looking Arab they were actually built by Christians when Valencia was no longer Islamic? This type of architecture is known as Mudejar; our Moorish legacy runs deeper than most people think. These baths were also one of the few public baths that were used continuously from their construction in the 14th Century til the 20th Century. Great video. :-)
Be a local Valencia - thank you for this, I live in Valencia for few months right now and this was interesting to read. I´m going to visit and learn more.
