St Albans looks lovely. Yes, we are lucky. Have you tried the Courtyard Cafe, a little independent cafe on the Hatfield Rd, very near the main St Albans shops. Nice to support the independents. 😊
My Son, had his first graduation, law, at the same Cathedral. I’ve just bought book tokens for my grandchildren for their Summer reading. I've read the Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and one other that I can't remember the name of. They were engaging stories but a bit long-winded. I remember thinking they could have been wound up sooner! I don't think you'll regret buying it and I look forward to your opinion. 😊

I have read a few kate Moreton books and now have Fresh water for flowers on reserve on my library list. Your choice of wool is delightful and perhaps that’s where I went wrong with my Felix. Did you say you were holding two balls together that would give a different texture. I really loved the orange tank Alex wore on sewing bee, but found out knitted and crocheted so even when the pattern comes out it will be beyond me😢. Hope you feel better soon xx

Hi Carol. Yes it was a perfect book shop. My Felix is using DK yarn. I held two strands of 4ply cream to make the pretty yarn last longer 😊
