Where, what and how to configure in settings, etc. If you don't have this kind of video, maybe it would be a nice idea for a video, it would help many people in the future

Our bloggers only brag about how they can, but they won't share. There are stupid questions about the device, but it's not realistic to find the answer

Thanks man! So in an example where you might have a stereo thing you’re sampling that has guitar is the left ear and piano in the right ear, mono right would give you a mono sound that it made 100% from the right channel - all piano, no guitar.
Dope beat! When chopping samples and stuff, how do you come up with the BPM? I always have trouble figuring out what the BPM should be when Im chopping

Great question, what I found works best for me is: - after I sample, in the Pitch/Speed screen I set BPM to Manual (instead of Auto), then I play the pad while tapping Sub Pad in time to Tap Tempo. - now that I know the tempo of the sample, I then start changing the pitch to what I think will be cool for the beat (if the sample is like 110bpm I’ll lower it to like 85 or whatever sounds good). - next, at the new tempo, if there’s fx like eq or c sim etc I wanna use I’d resample it now - now I’d chop and usually the tempo of my beat will be a few bpm faster than the sample pre-chop (so if sample was 85, beat might be 87…but ultimately I just experiment until it sounds clean n grooves)

Bro, why did you turn (ctrl 2) at 4.19 and (ctrl3) at 4.44? as Ive noticed when you playing chops youre using full strength QTZ and lowest when playing drums, dig that part.. but, do you ever use deafult swing+/- and whats yo opinion about it ? peace
Hey man, I had to check what I was doing…great questions / observations - 4.19 - I’m turning off the Metronome, with the drums in I don’t want that click anymore 4.44 - I’m turning off quantize. Was set too 100% (I wanted that sample layer to hit in time with the kick) the turned it down to 0% to rec the vocal chop. 99% I’m using quantize (grid=4) just for things I want tight on the beat - esp the first kick of the bar or pattern but I’m a big fan of the “on beat” kicks / snares qtz’d then turning it off and seeing how loose drunk swing I can get the kicks / hats in the gaps…this was I can smoothly (hopefully…) transition between a straight and swung feel in the same pattern. I’ve messed a little with the swing shuffle +/- on 8 or 16 notes, it’s a pretty nice thing that they made “-“ an option to so it puts the sample just before the beat, a lot of interesting groove options with that.

How did you do that tape stop effect around 5:36? It looks like you pressed the resonance or delay effect?
Yeh, does look weird. I swapped out the Resonator button with Stopper in EFX settings. Also Delay with Tape Echo n Filter / Drive with Super Filter.
