@@Nonjuror If you still got your iPad that mini Moog is 🔥. Who knew. Throw that on the 303 and compress it- sounds wild AF. My brother owns an actual Moog (label money pshhhh smh), we just A/B the real one on the 303 with it. It’s a slight difference but, only if you’re a mixing engineer. It’s a weird phase hiss, not analog to digital… “normal person” hiss. TLDR- Hella Voldemort vibes with the real Moog, Fuego with the IOS version (when used w the 303).
Thanks man, yeh what the 60ii does to drums is undeniable! It’s a lot of maintenance tho, never know what you gonna get when you turn it on n how long it’ll stay on for…😂
I had it in storage in Australia for the last 7 years - in that time the disk drive died and it overheats after an hour n reboots, pad sensors need to be replaced, other than that all gravy!
Oh shit, remember like a month ago you sent me something n I was like “and they just put that kick at the start ripe for sampling”…welp…here it is now!
Micro Sandisk is such a good size! So stoked it exists. The usb floppy emulator is GoTek, my original drive died, this one has worked reliably so far. www.ebay.de/itm/165167565655?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=707-53477-19255-0&campid=5338624525&toolid=10001&customid=280c145c3231b7e4f783275e8bb25098&gbraid=0AAAAADGzhXR5cKa7ykQhLJgzzENRBJpjD
dope. those drums hit hard af. that 12bit crunch is the thang! how do you find the 404mkii? seems like the fx are tons cleaner than in the older ones. stacking fx now must be great to create layers for drums or synths. also that reverb on the guitar sounds really good!
Oh yeh, that mpc60 sound is undeniable on drums! Really like the mk2 fx n stack thing them up. Being able to jam on a pattern n routing drums to one bus, sample chop to another makes for interesting performance options. Reverb is a definitely set up from the older 404s, you got a room, amb n 2 halls!
Lol I've been thinking about getting a MPC for the last few weeks I can't decide whether to get a 2000xl a 3000 or a 60 so far I think I going to end up with a xl
Duuuuude that’s a tough call, 60 is a lot of work and maintaining (at least mine is), getting your hands on 2000xl would be dope af! This video of Roger Linn messing with a 3000 warms my heart ua-cam.com/video/vubHg2379d0/v-deo.html
Very dope outcome. Also really loving your workflow on this one and how you use the 404 as a sampler, sequencer and/ or multitrack recorder and FX unit.
Thanks a lot, much appreciated! It actually felt weird flipping a Moog bass sample, something I’d find a patch for in Reason and play with a keyboard….and then record piano anyway…cheers!
This is sick man. Wow. How tf you from the UK?! You sound like you just smoke a blunt w DRE. Whaaaaaaaaa?!?💯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Hahahaha thanks heaps man! I got super lucky finding that moog bass sample, that really set the scene for that Death Row sound.

Last thing I need is an older MPC but that thing is crunchy for your drum and sounds great. Of course nice jam as usual.
Thanks man, yeh what the 60ii does to drums is undeniable! It’s a lot of maintenance tho, never know what you gonna get when you turn it on n how long it’ll stay on for…😂
