Oh it really is! I always think a loving family is the best thing we can give our kids. It may not always be perfect, and life gets messy with its ups and down, but there is ALWAYS a lot of love to go around! It was the best gift my own parents gave me :)

So beautiful! Your European garden style is mine too, I live in a Southern California ranch house and my husband converted two doors to be Dutch doors and the charm they add brings me so much joy. Your content makes my heart sing!!!!
My favorite part of flower arrangements are when the buds open. When I used to do Ikebana we actually plan the arrangements with the opening of the buds in mind. I remember when i first started that class i would watch the instructor and struggle to make my arrangements like hers. You totally made me think of that calling your dad for help. Lol. The instructor would come by and move one stem and the difference would be amazing lol. Those were fun times. I love your flower centerpieces. So beautiful. Happy Easter
What a champ you are. Everything looks delish and your prep lessons are invaluable. I noticed your daughter has some pretty good knife skills with that mint chiffonade.
Ha! Funny I noticed that too when I was editing that clip and laughed and thought, where did she learn that? I guess those teenagers really do pay attention when you are explaining things! LOL!

I thank you so much for this beautiful video that shows how hard you work to keep your family traditions and keep your family together! How wonderful that your father can add to your life by being the true gentleman that he appears to be as well as a talented decorator. He had such vision to get daffodils that opened at just the right time. The way you orchestrated your brunch was like watching a play come together! I loved the use of your lists ( which I have done for years!) and how you crossed out things when they were done so you could regroup for the next day. It struck me how hard you worked making everything by scratch and trying to please everyone's taste! And running out of blueberries created what looked like a delicious raspberry almond muffin that I am sure you will make ahead. Your lovely mother seemed to enjoy the new muffin too! Beth, very few people are able to pull this off as beautifully as you did and it was a lot of hard work no matter how organized you were. I loved to be able to see the 2nd part of the video and I feel like I was able to share this experience with you in a way. It brought back such loving memories of my own family years ago! You are an amazing LADY that reminds us how gracious and rewarding entertaining for your loved ones can be!

My mom who was a Home Economics teacher suggests boiling the sausages in water first and then browning them. It could be another item to make ahead and re-heat easily! The whole Easter food and decorations looked amazing! 🌻

This menu would have been lovely to use at Easter. If you do another video next year maybe consider a 3 part series with the menu and prep explanation in 2 videos prior to Easter and the actual reveal of your day shown after the holiday. That way your subscribers can have time to see and plan your menu for their own celebration. Thank you.
Just switch it to be for Mother's Day instead! You just need to switch up the flowers and candies a bit (unless your Mom has a fondness for Cadbury Easter eggs 😊) and voilà! It's so versatile, it would really work for any brunch, any time of year. Or tuck it away for next Easter! 🌷
@@Lucinda_Jackson Of course it would work for any Spring time brunch. It was just feedback for the creator for when people need ideas for the current holiday. I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't always remember videos or recipes I "tuck away" the following year when life gets crazy.

This brings back memories of our Italy trip a few years ago. I cannot wait to go back. We did a cooking school day at an old farmhouse in the hills in Tuscany too. I'm not the cook in this house lol but I enjoyed it. Cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful Italy is. We will be in France for our next vacation (a river cruise for the 1st time) but we are definitely going back to Italy the next trip after that! Highly recommend!
