The little hand reaching out from the camera is so cute 😂. Your daughter really does a great job with the camera, can’t tell it’s not a professional. She should be very proud!
Good morning Beth! Oh, it’s going to be a fun summer seeing you in your beautiful home in France! Looking forward to seeing your adventures! You made my day! Thank you! 💕
Seeing chocolate mousse brings back good memories of my childhood! My British aunt used to live in southern France and when our family visited her, she would ask me, “Chocolate mousse, sweetheart?” 😍 Looking forward to these summer videos, Beth! Thank you for taking us along! 😊
I discovered you last year when my friend said to watch your tour of your French vacation home. Now, I watch your back catalog (and make your recipes, yum) and follow on Instagram and I don't remember what your primary bedroom looked like. Could you please show us the room once you hang the engravings. Also, I love the feel of your home. Can tell your Pop's design genes were definitely inherited. I love the open space, the lighter textiles, the softer wood finishes and the giant accordion door to the eating area and pool. Feels sophisticated yet cozy and welcoming. The scale of your furniture, plus the space being clutter free makes me feel happy. I bet you and your family feel like you can breath and relax and just be. You, dear girl, are truly blessed. Just lovely. ( Also, I really want to steal those older mirrors I've seen in the entry and living area. I could never rent your house because I'd be arrested for taking those gorgeous mirrors right off the wall.) Keep sharing France with us. So fun.🙂
A total treat! Thank you Beth. The house looks great and love the plans for garage pergola. I think you would benefit from lowering the seat on your bicycle (your leg is too extended) and that might give you a feeling of more control. Welcome back to France and thank you for bringing us along! A bientot!
Beth, you have no idea how much I enjoy these French videos. And your detailed explanation to everything is pure satisfaction to my Francophile heart. Thank you so much! My little 5 year old is enjoying these videos as well and asked to see your girls 😂♥️
I'm so excited to watch all of this series! Loved seeing all the yummy ingredients from your shopping. And your daughter's cute, hungry hand ( her giggles ) while filming the bike trial were adorable! " My shoes!"
Dear Beth, your videos inspired me to entertain with style and confidence. Missing your party menus with the meal prep ideas. Really wish you could do some of those once again.
Yessss!!! Let the French adventure commence! I love these videos. Beth, you are a class act: such elegance in everything you do, you have, such warmth and kindness and your taste is exceptional. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you so much these French vlogs are wonderful! Everything in this home is perfect for family and entertaining!! Your daughter makes an amazing camera woman!! Love it all!!!
I can’t imagine how wonderful it is to have a house of France looking forward to seeing you enjoying that beautiful country and cooking You’re a great recipes
It’s so nice to see you back in France. I discovered your channel last summer when you were finishing up the house. I’m looking forward to seeing you fully enjoy.
Beth, I really enjoy your videos. You have so much class and creativity. You are just amazing! One of the things you do that I really like is telling if things can be made ahead of time and store in Frig. overnight. You seem to get so much done in so little time. I realize that somethings are done off camera but to have the big dinners for family and friends without extra help is also amazing. Love and Light to you and your family.
Aww thanks Margie :). I'm so glad you enjoy! I'm posting a video this weekend showing the prep for my husband's 60th Bday Party and there will be lots of tips in there too! Stay tuned!
Please do as many videos this summer as humanly possible!!! You are especially entertaining for me as a retired French teacher, married to a Dutchman living in Minnesota with dozens of treks to Holland and other Euro countries. AND food and entertaining is our jam!! You are a HUGE inspiration (and a doll!!) P.S. Dutch bikes really are great quality. We try and source them here. I hope you make friends with yours.
I love your home! It's so charming. I love the kitchen! Thank you for sharing all the food shopping tips. So interesting. The pear sauce! yum. Maybe just cut the butter into quarters? The pergola by the garage door is going to look great! I think your bike is the wrong size perhaps. You should be able to sit on the seat and your toes should touch the ground. Maybe you could exchange it ? I would hate to see you take a tumble. Hope your fruit trees will be ok. Beautiful shell engravings ! Looking forward to the brocante shopping. Enjoy!
Yay! Beth’s arrived in St Gilles! Let the Gallic summertime fun begin! ⚜️🌞⚜️ Love all the changes to the house and garden so far and your plans for future ones - those roses will be breathtaking climbing up and over a pergola and look sweet with the garage colors. All the new hydrangeas look great and I can’t believe how much fruit you have on your trees (poor babies). And then there are the grapes…amazing! The shell prints you found in Italy are absolutely perfect. You have the best artwork and wall decor! I can’t wait to see what else you’ll find when you take us with you to shop at the brocante. I laughed at a vision of myself trying to have the kind of baguette basket that can sit on the floor. My little friend (see my profile pic) would adore that and rub his little paws together in anticipation as soon as it hit the tiles. 😂 I think I’d be relegated to one that hangs on the wall. Love your camerawoman - so much talent and she takes her pay in juice and snacks! Sounds like a great deal. I’m looking forward to next week’s installment! 💕 Oh! Almost forgot! Your husband has probably already done exactly this for you, but it looks like you just need to lower the seat on your bike and you’ll be fine. It’s very hard to ride and balance properly when the seat is too high and it makes you feel out of control!
You're living the dream life of mine. Houses in LA and France!!! Wow. So envious!! Enjoying your channel so much! Have a great time in France. Have been in Paris couple of times but that's it. Can't wait to travel freely like we used to. Have a great summer in France 😍
Hi Beth, just loving your sharing. So fun seeing what’s in the fridge. Can you share a little more on what you eat in a day to stay so slim. Thank you again for all of the great tours. 💖
Love love love your style! The hydrangeas look perfect! Great choice and I love the blue variety. Beautiful ideas and the shell pics are perfection. The house looks amazing. Can’t wait for the next video! Enjoy your time
I’m so looking forward to having you guys along for the ride again a lot more fun things coming up this year next week it’s a visit to an old Moulin and then I’ll show you how to make a traditional baguette it’s such an easy and delicious recipe I must try for sure!
omg Beth you are such a gem. I so enjoyed watching this video, which - I mean it's a whats in my fridge video, how great can it be, right - but I just love your enthusiasm, and how detailed and well you tend to explane everything. like the chocolate mousse for your daughters, that's just such a cute detail to imagine them enjoying their dessert. also, it's a quite good supermarket shopping guide for us for when we come visit France. maybe you can grow a herb garden while you're there, and after that the gardener can keep watering the herbs? I hope to be as cute as you one day
Oh you were so kind! I’m so glad you enjoyed it these videos are so much fun to share and funny enough I came up with the best solution for my herbs stay tuned it’s coming in an upcoming video I’m going to show you guys how to make a traditional French Tian and my herb idea is in that video it also includes a shopping trip to the local pottery store stay tuned!
Love the little hand emerging..😂 the different containers and foods in France are interesting. You have become a real pro to know all about France and the food, shopping etc. Love the sun little dress paired with the leggings. This would be a dream come true. Your home is so beautiful. Thanks for keeping us involved. I just love it. ❤️
Wonderful video like always. Thank you for sharing these beautiful adventures! The Hydrangeas are really a very nice touch to your garden and the fruit trees are really amazing. Here in NC my pear tree has been attacked by squirrels and it drives me crazy. Years ago I saw for the first time in England, in the Costwolds a pear tree that had been trained to grow up on a side of a hotel and it was beautiful to see all of these pears hanging on the walls, just beautiful gardening. Enjoy and I can’t wait for your next video.
I really like your France vlogs. Please do more of these. The yard is so beautiful. Of course I love hydrangeas and rose. 🥰 Your grape vine over the pergola. What an amazing idea.
I was just wondering whether you were in France yet! I feel you about the bike. I’m 5’1”, and had a 26” bike for years. Finally got a lower cruiser bike and it’s so much more manageable.
Bon jour Beth! I'm super excited that you are back in France. So fun to live vicariously through you and your vlogs. Thank you for sharing your summer in France with us.
Great show! We are getting the keys today for our new Vendee home in Pouzauges. Knowing about the mustard situation, we brought A LOT of dijon for our friends. We are going to be in St Gilles next Sunday for the day. If interested, I'd love to drop off a bottle or 2 of dijon. Perhaps at your favorite bakery if they would hold it for you. Keep up the awesome work you do. We are so excited to start of vie francaise!
Hi Beth, you can lower the bike saddle and adjust it to a more comfortable height, the same goes for the bike handle. I think it'll be easier to handle/ manoeuvre once it's lowered slightly.
Hi Beth! I love the tour of your French Home with all the updates, starting with the French Foods in the Fridge! I love seeing the inside of the house with your hand painted prints for your bedroom. So beautiful!!! I think the landscaping is super pretty! And you inspired me with your lanterns at poolside so I found some similar at Bed, Bath & Beyond that are solar fake candles, so they come on automatically at night. I tell everyone that (you) & your channel inspired me! Also, regarding the bike, I put a new large basket on the front of my Raleigh Three-speed and I have a hard time riding the bike since I cannot see the front tire on the road. It sounds weird, but you may want to try riding the bike without the basket once to see if that makes a difference? Just a thought...In any case, your video was wonderful and it perked up our day here in sprinkly Maryland. Enjoy yourselves and we look forward to your France adventures! All the Best!!! Celeste
I absolutely love your France videos and I always look forward to them! Hoping you’ll share tons of ideas from the Apéro magazine as well. I can’t seem to find enough about it here in the states.
I so love your French adventures my husband was born in La Rochelle I love your little place and I love the lifestyle thank you so much for sharing this is wonderful!!!!!!
Hello Beth, nice to see you back in France. If you open up the package of butter you will see the measurements. In France we do not put the can of sirop in the fridge, unless you have a ant problem....lol. I visited the Vendee about 3 years ago,I loved it,I live about 6 hours away from you in the south near Biarritz, thank you for your lovely videos, take care and have a nice weekend.
Ha! So true!! It’s always so fun to be back in Europe and a little bit closer to all of my European viewers hope you guys are having a nice summer in the UK not too much rain I hope!
I was in Martinique and the had a pear jam at the hotel that i stayed in loved it with butter french bread and charcuterie meats, and I have a hard time finding it, but I use to find it sometimes at Farrners market Monseur Marcel shop, and also at one of the produce stands on the opposite side. I think you live in L.A so you probably go there, by the Grove. I use to get good French cheeses I couldn't find any where else. Also I just found baby size burrata's they're in a little tub.
Hi Beth. Great to see you back at your house in France. Thank you for all that you share. Also, I think you just need to lower your bike seat and you'll be happy. Have a delicious day.
Beth, hello! The house is looking so beautiful! And I'm so excited to see the adventures you record for us! I wonder with your bicycle, if you lower the seat and handlebars if you'd feel more stable? It's a lovely bike other than being too tall for you! Have the most fun you can! I'll be waiting patiently for your next video! Bisous!😘
When I first rode my German city bike, it scared me to death. I put it back in the shed and didn't get back on it for almost a month. I am still a bit shaky on it, but it is so much larger than my American bicycle. My husband told me to just get on it and ride on the cul-de-sac until I am more comfortable with it. I haven't gotten back on it yet. Hopefully, I get the hang of it. Thank you for sharing your time in France.
Oh that’s so good to know it’s not just me ha ha! There’s something weird about the handlebars they’re really spread out I feel like I’m riding one of those big low rider motorcycles ha ha ha but I did lower the seat and it has made it a lot easier so I’m headed to the beach today on it and hopefully I won’t fall off it ha ha!
Beth, eres encantadora...todos tus vídeos son estupendo los veo muchas veces, tienes detalles e ideas qué me encanta.Gracias por tu sencillez y querer compartir tus conocimientos qué son geniales
Love your videos Beth! I’m from the US but am vacationing in Brittany currently and am about about 3 hours north of you! So tomorrow I’m going shopping for some of the items in your French fridge! Thanks for sharing! So fun!

I absolutely adored this summer in France series last year so I’m excited for all the new videos to come this year as well!! There is something so quaint and charming about the parts of France outside of Paris that aren’t given the same love and attention, and I’m so thankful that you’re sharing all of this with us☺️
Absolutely a treasure! Loved your video Beth and it was successful in making me feel like I was transported there! Your daughter did a superb job in doing her share of the video too. Enjoy your precious time in France 🇫🇷

I love these France vlogs, so happy they're back!

@@EntertainingWithBeth Can you lower the seat on your new bike? I think that might help. Normally the seats can b adjusted to go up or down.

Such a lovely space. Love all your gardening ideas. Hydrangeas will be beautiful in that border.
I absolutely adored this summer in France series last year so I’m excited for all the new videos to come this year as well!! I absolutely adored this summer in France series last year so I’m excited for all the new videos to come this year as well!! There is something so quaint and charming about the parts of France outside of Paris that aren’t given the same love and attention, and I’m so thankful that you’re sharing all of this with us☺️

Hey Beth! It's lovely to have you back in France! Some brands of butter have measurements on them, just look for the really "rectangular" shaped ones.
I love seeing your adventures in France.
