Always liked the Ducati 900, never got around to trying one, last bike was a GPZ1000RX 1987, it did 167mph going on a visit to my daughter's place in Kent. I know it was genuine cos I had a Garmin E trex in my shirt pocket that I forgot to switch off before the journey. 😂😂
I like the simplicity of it: air/oil cooled, carburettors, 2 valves per cylinder and limited electronics. That is why I bought it over the 916/748 type (they do look nice though). I also like the way that the panels are obviously hand finished and don't quite fit together properly.

😊 The 900SS is seriously excellent on the right kind of roads... but not so good on the wrong kind of roads.
Very high on my list of all time favourite bikes.

I have a 98 FE. love that thing.
Nice, I like. 🙂
I had a 93 750SS. Put 55k miles on it. Best sound in motorcycling.
I imagine the 750 might be more fun as it could be ridden flat out for more of the time.
@@mrpingen It was fun! My only real complaint was the 5 speed gear box.
