They look awesome!
I’m doing the same thing Kim, I normally make cards but my fingers flare up after a while so thought I’d give candle making a go but the melts look so much easier.
That was a brilliant video u explained that really well.
Thankyou 😊
Thank you very helpful ☺️
Could you do a video on the labels please..this is such an informative video thankyou x

Thank You

I had loads of fun with them
Hi Kim. Can you tell me more about the glitters you’re using? Can you use any glitters in the wax melts? Loved your video. Very informative.
Any glitters are fine to go into wax melts. 😊 Thankyou for watching!
Hi lovely great video, where can i get the fragrances from and do u know were i can get aftershave/perfume ones from too thank you 😊 x
craftovator.co.uk/. Is a great place for all supplies
❤️love this video about how many bigger snap bars Do you think I can get out of per pound of wax starting a small business
It’s about 45grams in a bar. So around 10 bars if the larger snap bars.
Just started making them have you got a video for cpl sticker please thanks
I overlooked it I believe, where did you find the large snap bar molds?
There should be a link to them in the description
Omg you should sell them I’d love buy these ❤
Thankyou. I must say I enjoyed making them but my time get absorbed painting art to sell. 💖
hi please could you tell us how to do the labels and where you get your bags from many thanks.
There should be a link in the description for the bags and I made a video of how did the labels.
I love these small bars🥰
Would love to see a video on labels please and we're to get the wax and scents pacaging
Hey Kim, I’ve just started making snap bars (wax melts) and when I de-moulded it it left a lot of wax in the moulds and was very rough on the actual wax melts and just overall didn’t look very nice. I’m using soy wax and I’m not sure why it happened and I’m not sure how to fix it.. do you know what might have caused it?
You need to make sure the wax is totally set hard before de moulding. Heating at the correct temperature and adding the scents and colouring at the correct temperature is vital too. When de moulding it’s always best to pull at the mould first before taking the actual bars out. Hope this helps.
if you use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm moulds before you pour, it will help to stop wax sticking to mould
Would love to see how to make labels pls. Love your video. Thank you x
I’ve put a video up on it. Hope it helps
Thank you so much. I found video really helpful. Xx
What size bags do you get for the large melts?
65mm x 165mm
What do you heat the wax to? X
Thank you dear ,please tell me why my candle scent light
You probably need to add more
Great video.
Is the wax the same as candle wax please., thank you .
Yea it is
Can you please tell me measurements of big packages?
They are 65mm x 165mm
Hi! Can we use same mold for different fragrances for different max welts ? Or will they mix?
Yes you can use the same mould.
@@KimThane thank you so much for answering!💗
so how many grams of wax would i use if i was adding just 5%. thank you
Can I use a wick in a glass container to use these? Instead of wax warmer?
This wax can be used for candles with wicks aswell as wax melts
Can you use any kind of glitter ? Or does it have to be for wax?
I use any glitter
What do you use to boil and cook your wax in? Is it cast iron or stainless steel?
It’s an aluminium pot
How many grams go in the small bars please?
How much fragrance and how much wax do you use?
Hi nice video thanks for the information and tutorial. I have a question, what size are the bags for the large candles, they just fit perfectly. And thank you
They are 65mm x 165mm
Thank you so much
If you heat your moulds with a heat gun just before you pour you shouldn't get any wax left in the mould after you de-mouod 😁
Hi where do you get your scents from pls can I have the link 😊
craftovator.co.uk/collections/candle-fragrance-oils
Just one of the places in the uk to get good priced stuff
Hey mrs! Looking to start my own wax melt business, in terms of the information for the scents what do u mean by this
When buying scents from reputable companies they will have an information sheet on each and every scent, that you can download and apply to stickers(to go on the back of your packaging) which lists all the ingredients chemicals etc to comply with the laws of selling wax melts.
@@KimThane thank you Kim! Is there any other advice you could give me upon starting my business?
@@leahmckean9420 just ensure if you’re selling to the public that you go by the correct procedures. The labelling is very important. That way you’re covered. Take a look at the UA-cam channel - edensSecret1 she is very good with everything and she has a multitude of videos about wax melts, suppliers and more.
Can I see how you make your labels please
I do have a video on how I made my labels.
Can you send the ljnk where to buy thing to start please
There should be all the links you need in the video description for UK
Is this a wax tart wax?
This was an eco soya wax
where is the link to where my wife can buy the items needed thx
If you go to the pull down description click on the little arrow and that should bring down the info you need.
Sadly they do not have this wax in the United States
That’s a shame. But I’m sure you can get something of similar quality and it’s al the same sort of basics.
Candlescience actually has EcoSoya pillar wax for wax melts but it’s in flake form. The other wax they have in pellet form is BW-921 pillar soy wax for melts also. Just fyi in case you were looking for plant bases or pellet forms 👌🏽😊
@@christinecarrillo88 thank you very much!
Hi can you send me everything i need please
There should be a list of things in the description. You will need some wax, a pan for melting, a thermometer(gun) some scent, colouring if wanted, and moulds,
