Enjoyed that. That Chieftan has some pull alright. In service I bet these military vehicles spent as much time in the workshops as out & about. Not for the faint hearted or those with shallow pockets!
Thank you. The only thing missing is Lottie’s gently sarcastic debriefing and critique of the 432 driver’s actions! 😈😁 Cheers from NZ. I reckon that we know who did the cleanup of the track and road wheels etcetera!
@casparberends2719 If you guys are going to pull my leg about it 🤣 It was the owner of South Gippsland Tank adventures. It is his tank but still very embarrassing 😋
Brings back a lot of memories from my 20 years of active service as a "Tanker!" Folks need to remember, Armored Vehicles are designed to "KILL!" They "DON'T CARE WHO THEY KILL!" SAFETY NOTE: The "Gentleman" Standing on the FV432 APC, is a "Damn Fool!" It's to easy to fall off & land under the suspension or even the hull & get crushed! You need 3 point of contact! DON'T pass between a Running Track Vehicle & an immovable Object... To easy to get "CRUSHED!" It's no fun cleaning up the "Bloody Mess of Crushed Bones & Flesh!" I saw it 3 times in my Career... Fortunately not in my unit or platoon!
I'm reminded of Ft. Knox where my unit maintained M60A5s for Armor Officer School. So many thrown tracks in that thick Kentucky clay. Nothing like diving into mud holes to hook up tow cables.
Easy job made difficult, we had one that slid sideways down a 6 foot bank, tracks were over and under. We stopped a chieftain tank and used it to pull the 432 backto a level location, getting the tracks off took a few hours.
Yes, that ticks all the boxes sounds good to me makes a change from work and veteran Cars. They can still be a pain in the . As well, I was put it down to being character building. Keep doing your videos. Enjoy them Michael in sunny England
(David Attenborough sounding voice) "...like a wounded beast, the FV 432 retreats into it's lair, a large shed in the Gippsland wilderness."
The B81 in the 432 at the beginning sounded absolutely fantastic

I don't think you'd have gotten far with that shovel. Enjoyable vid. Thank you.

Hey, Lottie, Great Content, you and Peter appear to be having a blast. Hope you are all good. Archie
The editor did an otherwise excellent job!
I like the music choices.

Typo in opening title page.
It reads Tanks: A world unto itslef.
That wasn't really bogged in, until you had a 432 with both tracks thrown in a deep mud pit on salta training area you have not lived
